The first time I said the words
"I love you",
was not the first time I told you I loved you.
The very first time
was when you had come home from work.
I didn't hear from you
for a couple of hours.
Not entirely unusual, but you know me,
I'm a worrier.
You finally texted me and after a brief exchange of words,
you asked me to call you.
Of course I did without hesitation; calling you had become
my favorite part of every day.
You told me you had been crying.
Really crying.
I remember the feeling in my stomach,
the immediate urge to run to where
you were,
to wage a war against whatever it was
that had caused you that much pain.
To hold you.
Verbally, I've never been good with words.
I wanted to say so much.
I could have said it then.
After a drawn out pause, I told you
"I want to take care of you".
Maybe you knew,
maybe you didn't.
I think my heart knew before I did
that I loved you.
But I meant it then, more than anything.
Still do.

Her round face,
The button nose,
And sweet voice.

Her glowing skin,
The plumpy chin,
And **** midriff.

Her friendly nature,
The Hïnđū outlook,
And divine soul.

Her infant thoughts,
The youthful spirit,
And zestful love.

How should I not love her?
She's my future partner of life,
And why not, she's my future wife.

Baby girl, I love you...
Oh my baby, I love you...

Cutie, I love you...
Cutie pie, I love you...

Golu, I love you...
Golumolu, I love you...

You're my best friend...
Only my closest friend...

You're my girlfriend...
Only I shall be your husband...

the sun spilled upon her lashes,
her breaths long as she glanced above
by chance, catching wind of his russet hair
obscuring the view of his soft blue eyes.
unknown to him
she watched as he stepped his skateboard down,
noticed his worn black jeans
and colorful sneakers,
him rolling away
not knowing how he caught
the girl's starry eyes.
and their paths would never cross again.

you're sitting on the bathroom floor
head in your arms
tears dripping off your face
and i don't know what to do
i reach out
smile
touch your arm
you look up
smiling just a little
eyes wet
"hey," i say. "you okay?"
your arm comes up
swipes across your face
"y-yeah."
and you're getting up
holding on to me for support
not crying anymore
and i don't know what to do
do i say something?
comfort you?
just smile?
i settle for
taking you in my arms
and holding you there
with me
till the end of time

We can
runaway
into the night,
hand in hand,
with nothing but
our dreams
to guide us home,
wherever home
may be...

call you miss peach
mushroom princess
sugary sweet
my fairy child
cottagecore queen

(hello)
goodbye i think it's time that i leave
i know that now's no good for you and me
we'll be together one day baby (maybe)
but until that time i'll set you free (oh)

did you cast a spell
because i fell head over heels
i know your type well
fairies and elves get me hurt
because i fall too **** hard

(hi there) hello
looks like it's time that i go
you and me won't work out too well
we'll be together one day (unlikely)
until that time you won't be mine (oh)

call you miss peach
mushroom princess
cottagecore queen
not trying to be mean
but you're just a little too sweet

(hello) goodbye i've got to go
i think it's time that i leave
now's not a good time for you and me
won't be together baby
until you decide to fly by me (oh)

call you miss peach
mushroom princess
and you'll never be

not trying to be mean
but you're just a little too sweet

my cottagecore queen

The sea
is shallow,
as is the Grand Canyon
when compared to how deep
my love is
for you.

looking out my window doesn’t scare me anymore

it’s just people
it’s just the earth

i’m already one with whatever lingers in that darkness
looking outside feels like warmth
