An eldritch aura permeates
a palace, long forgotten.
I fell. Which may illuminate
my place amongst the rotten.

How long these ruins slept, I fear's
a desert measured aeon,
for sand has creep'd and crept in here,
a structure so protean.

This place it whispers death and dust,
a sister to the barrow.
I must escape this depth. I must!
These halls are much too narrow.

The stench of age, it fills the air,
with hints of green and purple.
Appendages, they slither there,
My thoughts they now encircle.

A mutter on the wind calls me,
it sends my digits lame.
Fluttered eyes. Where two should be,
five globules cry my name.

That fickle murmor, foe at first,
but now I know my error.
He tickles thoughts and quenches thirst.
Come, how could it sow terror?

All is well, I've found a friend,
His hug is warm and tight.
His many arms they do not end,
but wriggle, kiss, and bite.
Lovecraft inspired. I'm not sure how clear the story is. Guy gets lost in ruins. Meets some ancient creature. Creature takes over his mind, setting him at ease, only to eat him.

Sometimes stars explode
and leave behind the most
beautiful nebulae in the universe-
but that is one in a billion.
Somehow you create a nebula
with every touch,
and every word.
So what does that make you?

As a pandemic spreads across the globe,
we realize more and more
about ourselves
which we once did not know.
Extroverts transform into introverts,
introverts into extroverts,
finally, a revolution for the mind,
an extraordinary, cosmic show
of divine and unprecedented kindness.
Externally and internally
we will continue to grow.

Chocolate eyes,
two distant planets
that hold a mystery more mystifying
than the furthest reaches of our galaxy.
My heart longs to
make the voyage
and make a home in your orbit,
but for now,
home is out of reach.

you are
tread(in)g through
dream-filled waters
and although beautiful
they can seem deeply
frustrating at (time)s

but (you) have the power within

(learn) to laugh when it gets heavy
you are only served the kind of tides
(that) you are strong enough to conquer

no wave thrown (you)r way
could ever submerge the
delicate warrior you (have)
(become) today

flow with (the) Universe
you will never be shifted
the wrong (way)
in time you learn that
you have become the way

My fair lady,
when you are ready
to fly to the moon,
I promise
to never let you
out of my
orbit.

I pull apart the heavy drapes of darkness
Wading through thick musky flower scent
Leftover heat rising from the ground up
While shadows close snugly right behind

Two fat ladies pedal away in lycra
In this stillness I could hear them from afar
Their bikes seem absurdly small underneath them.
And I think:
If we're all alone together: then none of us are.

Dear diary;
last night I met the moon.
She forgot how to shine in
the darkest of nights.
We grew close-
a bittersweet bond
since one of us
was fading
away.

The moonlight of the scarlet eclipse,
From the chasm of the phantom heart.
In the void of the bottomless pit,
Wandering in search of attunement within.

Abstruse like the nucleus rigid,
Fragile like the flower petal.
Hummings of the oceans and sky,
Quivering will, the fear occupy.

In the stones of faith to pray,
For the lurking fleshes of past which stays.
Rippling through the time frames,
Turning to the ashes gray.
