Beyond the scope of life and death,
I trust that there exists a world...
That's where you can find me,
I shall be waiting for you..
Beyond all sorts of wars,
There I shall wait for you,
Upon the celestial pedestal of God.

Eyes fixated on the skies
Watching a star
Dancing to a tune
Such an enthralling dance
Oh she's coquetting with the moon
Illuminating the heavens
Lighting up the skies
Like a diamond delicately strewn
So ethereal
She jumps and twirls
Like a dainty ballerina
So out of this world
But she's got to hurry up
The sun is on its way
There will be no let up
End this amorous array
To discouple this heavenly tryst
Just like yesterday
When she tried to persist
And the days before that
But baby you can't twist
These legislations
Go get all miffed
Just like yesterday
When you tried to desist
And the days before that
You catchin' my drift?
Eyes heavy with slumber
Vision covered in mist
I sleep to the sight of a blazing sky
To the sight of a passionate rift
Dreaming about this celestial pair
They danced and hugged and kissed

She was a celestial being.
Her ethereal form,
illuminating
the darkest of oceans.
Amidst the stars,
and the nightly gloom,
she remains the brightest
'Till the sun looms.

The vast space between them
As the sun continually chases the moon,
Who smiles back at the sun.
Watching her in the dark
Knowing she's admiring him from afar,
The sun can distinguish the moon
In the dark with a thousand stars
But the moon has trouble finding the sun.
One day, they'll be in front of each other.

As the moon says,
" Ah, this is the girl who radiates
As beautiful as the stars around me"
And the sun says,
"So, I finally get to see the boy
       Who perfectly reflects my light,
A quiet mirror of my own image"

When that day comes,
That will be the time
The world will stop.
To the celestial lovers, to the suns and moons.

there’s a sea of people running away from the smoke of their pasts.
they call out the names of their mothers, and ex lovers
they look up at the sky and fear that the moment
they've been waiting for
has happened already.
call me a stranger, it’s okay.
it’s okay to say that the moments are evanescent,
because they are.
but it’s not okay to pretend like
they never happened
because they are here. fading, but here.
i’m here. fading into the blur of people, but i am here.
tell me something.
tell me i’ve been running towards the wrong end
of disaster, or that the world is upside down and
i’m actually walking on the ceiling, and
that years, and years, and years ago,
people used to swim in the sky
and swallow mouthfuls of the galaxy.
wait a moment.
i know it’s been too long,
because i’ve waited for ages to dance in the moonlight,
to go
around and around.
there is no remedy for going in circles.
but to take the straight path would turn
me into a straight-edged square.
i’d rather not become that version of myself,
that person scares me.

the night sky is easier to imagine
when
you close your eyes with that classical music playing
in your ears, flannel sheets wrapping your body
in their embrace.
i embrace the lights in the night that are lanterns
floating in the dark conquering it, if only just for
a little while.
they say only light
can conquer the dark
but they never really tell you whether or not
the dark can ever swallow the light
in its mouth of black holes, whirlpools,
and eternal sleep.
the lanterns go out,
and where are we but in the dark,
making ourselves into something
that is almost useless,
but not
pointless.
are you ready now? i ask.
are you ready?

your cough syrup throat and my candy corn teeth
are playing hide and seek,
i’d never make you bleed.
the glitter on your eyelids remind me
of a time that was prettier than this one.
the stars would  s  h  i  n  e
and b-l-i-n-k like neon lights,
and they’d carve our names into the bark of the
sky, a memory of the oceans we drowned in
when they stretched between us.
your lispy words, and my groggy voice.
mornings, and skydiving from the chandeliers
into a pool
of deeper thoughts.
i’m caught up in my imagination,
it’s the weights around my ankles
pulling me down
into a more dangerous place
where imagination and reality
collide.
i find asylum in the everyday nonbeliever.

hurry on now, my darling, it is getting late.
hurry on now, my lovely, although you can’t run from fate.
these celestialities are all driving me mad.
this celestial city can’t be all that bad.
it can’t be
all that bad.
a four part stream of consciousness.
life is celestial in itself.

We
She is my Venus and I am her Jupiter:
we commit a play and dance,
as celestial bodies aligned to the sweet melodies of the cosmos.
Her eyes are aligned with the stars with no sights of below.
So above will accompany her,
and below envies her wings as she continues her ascension.
lets share the Moon,
Time it just right,
Both look up in unison,
To bask in his light,

Oh man up there,
Tell mine I love him,
And tell him to say it back,

For Moon you connect us,
And tie our days
In a knot.

oh Moon, I'm jealous.
You get to look upon him each day,
Please send a message,

Write it in your dust,
Where I know he'll read,
Moon, moon please may you say,

"She loves you she loves you,
More than I glow,
Like I and the stars, she will never go,
Always there, up in the sky,
She's here,
For every second that passes by"

And each night,
We will both look up in the night,
And the comfort of him knowing,
Will cradle me tight.

the turmoil of the universe
was carved of a canvass
of black so its stars would
shine ever brightly.

our celestial picture is heaven
astrologically saying;

"the darkness of your troubles
simply serves to luminate
the brilliance of beauty
in all your battles of victory...

for even death is undone
with the last flicker of breath
like falling stars leave
a glorious trail of descent"

I lay in the grass outside of the party and stare at the sky. All my friends are walking about drunk and what not.  I notice something in the sky.  Swirls of white are floating on by.   I  see the final star leave to elsewhere.  The star seems to flash and shoot off.  The celestial swirls then seem to spin counter clockwise creating beautiful fractal patterns of colors.  They spun faster and faster in the black starless sky.  I then see a star pop up and then another.   It did not take long before I could see constellations again.  Our night sky was an ocean of stars yet again.  The swirls of white left toward the moon.  I now call them Star callers.
