Whether the rain pours,
hail falls,
and mud seeps inside my shoes,
I always walk.

Whether there's a better,
easier way
to reach where I'm trying to go,
I always walk.

Whether there are hands extended
or faceless shame,
ever since the age of three
I always walk.

Whether you care,
whether the wind is at my back,
I've never been carried,
I always walk.

Even when my mother cries,
even if my father dies,
if my children are my own,
they will walk
close behind.

Whether love
or pollen
pollutes the air
and my red eyes can no longer see,
I will always walk.

Whether the song I sing
is one that you know,
or one that you don't care to hear,
I always walk.

Cars go rushing by,
people pass in silence.
Like the potholes you swerve to avoid,
I persist.

I fell once;
I crawled and begged for a hand,
but I was held down and convinced
I would never walk again.

Then I stood;
On that day,
with vindication in the breath I exhaled,
I swore to always walk -
and even God took note.

And maybe
We are puzzle pieces,
Carrying debris from
The broken
Universal truth.

How can you carry yourself-
an empty mind, heart, and soul?
Olga Valerevna Dec 2015
Where is the emotion I could only ever bare
when you were here beside me every day and everywhere
I seem to be avoiding all the simple things I knew
instead commit to stupor coming out of me and you
Whatever hasn't happened I expect at any time
receiving with the darkness every shadow in my mind
It's good to be alone and I have come to much prefer
the solitude of sameness as the days become a blur
I'm learning to admit that what is perfect will not break
and daily seek the patience to accept it when I wake
Today has been forever and forever's moving still
a death that has no fear because it goes against our will
title and inspiration taken from Sufjan Stevens',"Carrie & Lowell"
My short legs can only
carry me so far,
but everytime they
bring me back to you.
You're like my favorite sweater,
you keep me warm,
you let me hide,
you keep me safe.
You're my home.

I think hell is something you carry
around with you not somewhere
you go
Rafael Melendez Jul 2015
The day he met her was the day he wanted to be carried.  It felt as though he had died then was resuscitated back to life by a bolt of lightning.
She was beautiful in every sense of the word. A goddess in the reflections of his eyes.
Hair that was hot to the touch, eyes that could pierce darkness with ease, and a smile that could speak any tongue.
And he knew, the day that she goes will be the day that he goes as well.

The problem with me,
Is not my back,
But the fact that
I hate to see suffering

If I see someone in pain,
I do everything I can
To carry their burden

As I'm getting older however,
I've met too many people,
And carry too many problems

I was sure I could handle it
But I don't know if I can.
So I hope you are happier,
Back problems are worth it
To see you smile again

Just don't be suprised
If someday soon,
My spine

Don't worry about the results,
They will be really favourable,
Now we know where happiness lies,
And also where happiness lies,
Our ardent fervour will pay off,
And against the Sun we'll shine,
For we sincerely put our efforts.
Don't worry buddy. CPMT is done now. Only the much easier PMET remains and you should not turn down the volume of your dedication taking it as being the easier exam.

I am so proud of your tireless efforts, Kripi. Your Drona loves you for giving it your best shot.

Don't give up. Bear the spirit of a tigeress as you always do. Things can only shine for both me & you.

Even everyone here will be praying for both your cousin Swati's and your own favourable results, and trust me, these positive vibrations will do you good.
