Indian mask

Indian face mask made from metal that has rust
Orange and brown and bits of black that turns to dust
A face weathered by years of sand and rain winds ******
An episode of  déjà vu  where everything is faster speeding like the earths crust
A snake turns in circles to confuse the prey and poisons the leg with massive teeth survive it must
Like the earth changing from one ******* to another with a rush
Eyes wide open and a mouth full lipped with hair as red as a burning bush

Peter Kiggin Feb 2017
No tomorrow

You killed me long ago
I have never felt so low
The water was drowning me but life wouldn't let me go
Some how the soul wanted to believe in hope and so
One word love had to grow and grow
I felt it knotted deep down below
A needle soothed my woe
All the world could not console my heart no tomorrow
No tomorrow
No tomorrow

Spelling with words

Pray and you will be heard
Lost memories or a single word
Many men die for love that was wasted shared
Give love to you because compassion once cared
Understanding life depends on your perception clear or blurred
Seeing life with eyes wide open as a child you see it clearly but understanding nothing perturbed
So when you kneel before me I only seek conviction and a purpose to be cured.

Assemblance

Hopes and dreams sparkle in the night sky
I want to become part of all the wonder don't me deny
We are slaves on this planet to the power of the Sun I sigh
A planet once more dangerous than a human could be made old eye
Identity is a piece of plastic moulded by the man and we struggle to understand the confusion between evil and why angels do cry
To leave this place with no reason but for fornication and the spread of what we think life should be and still have no comprehension but to try
Flickering embers are all that's left of this world and soon the smell of death and angels take the fortunate ones to a celestial high.

Grant me passage along your path
Just memories of 20 years aftermath

Fore fathers now we pay with gruesome wrath

I still see you in my minds eye
Wander what your doing I always sigh
People run in circles trying to catch themselves going by
If I'm honest with you my soul is always aching to once again just fly

The BuBBLe BUrsT

I burst a bubble in my brain
As the rain came down again
A wind so strong it was calling out your name
A memory of shame
A lighthouse with it's guidance of domain
The time I spent in agonizing pain
Oh so many years I've cried to tame
This killer kills it's self before others are to blame
So I ended it with alcohol and as many pills I claim
On King Street I sweated ****** through my vain
The price I payed to go insane but the memory still remains
Of the second and the minute and the hour that you shot me down but no help like once before ever came.

Your love

Orange peel squeeze sweet juice with a little zing
Sun as hot on brow that makes sweat drip salty ting
All day gather much fruit till fill the sacks for tomorrow mornings shopping
I go lay in shade with long green grass and dream sweet scented woman is lightly holding
As the purple sky turns to red I look at your lips and cannot resist a touch not bruising
Oranges are plentiful around these parts but your love is simply timeless and willing

Marionette

Marionettes made to do with hands on strings
Serpants smiling squirming savage stings
A hope for justice as the pendulum swings
You're in the arms of dark angels that sing

Coarsing through your blood is acid
The road now you walk a different passage
Woman born of the masses
Take all charge and learn to savage

The strings are cut as she thinks better of it
Wading through cat **** and smelling dog ****
Left burning beside the road is a pigs body and a black leather outfit
She smokes a cigarette her only habit

Crow
Sometimes the crow sits beside me on his wooden fence
He acknowledges I am here then listens to the world for his own amusement
His eyes are black but alive in a sense that everything he sees is poignant
His body also black but also very pristine like a suit made by the government
The lies he sees are preposterous and he harks at people's discontent
The world is very complex he knows but there is a final judgement
The crow tells all to the Grim Reaper and all people's devilment
The crow eats vermin for the flesh and the blood keeps him vigilant
It must be hard for an intelligent bird to sit so long and see confinement
The bird has wings but they only use them to flee animal's punishment
Sometimes the crow sits beside me on his wooden fence.

Forever symmetrical

I've seen the devil and he keeps on punishing me
I was born to failure because everyone had such high hopes I could only be beaten don't you see
A child that had a fever and the world was so different because all of the colours disagreed
I swam across a river to find what was waiting and I looked back and saw what I could only possibly be
The colours shone right through me leaving me dry and symmetrically free
Until that very moment I knew nothing could be perfection and we were all trapped here looking at mirrors don't you believe

*******

A tear may fall for many reasons
Why did they fall so much for you
I was confused and now I'm not walking in blind mans shoes

The easiest thing to learn was that you shamed yourself possibly at first to amuse
When games are played you must always be prepared to lose
Suffering in my mind was one more clue to completely end the trip was a cruise

*** is now a minor note from hundreds of combinations for which you have the disease

Slowly you'll unwrap the riddle I put before you or you will ignore it just choose

Not everyone is deceitful like a man that I used to beat till he had the chance not to get caught doing which is turn the screws

I can't tell , I can,t tell; if love don,t mean a thing
You never believed me;but whatever did trust really bring.
I want you to leave me then at least I'm right about birds that can,t help but sing;
You think you deceived me ; I was always ahead of you running
You think you'll be happy now,happy now, because you were frightened for giving in;
All the world has changed babe and it don't mean a ******* dream;
I hope you still think of me as a gentle man I'm still, but that's always been easy , I'm just like a bee that,s lost it's sting.

Please suggest a word that can keep me safe
This world has crushed me to the bones that I am made
I want to blame the flashing lights and the dancing parade
Everyone realizes one day that we all wear a masquerade
The real choices in life are those our eyes covet like a poem written to serenade
Minds are dangerous places for the ones who do not understand and lie in shade
The song is almost over forever as the crowd stand up and we leave alone across the empty stage .

Lemon yellow horses

The sun seems to just fall off the edge of the world mentally
Clay walls are all around us watching every movement constantly
There is a dark green serpent with large yellow eyes floating languidly
Choosing which of us he wants to eat but if you stroke him on the head he will treat you cautiously
The river yawns and turns enthralls and carries mysteries that are legendary
Soon we reach our camp for the night and dreams of masks that are painted white protect me from evil spirits and perhaps us them equally
Swimming closeness hair like lemon yellow roses then look up at the diamond stars that shine and race like a million racing horses come quietly

I watched a man have a heart attack outside the green grocers just the other day
I wonder if I'll have some sausages with mash potato and gravy for my dinner today
The wheel on the bicycle of the man that past me walking kept on turning any way
The rain came through my jacket and soaked me to the bone but I won't be using it as it returns to it's peg and that's were it will stay
My heart is weaker than it was and nothing gives me a buzz like the sunshine in may
I thought that someone cared for me as I did for them but it just turns out they didn't give a **** questions go astray

The world will die
Peter Kiggin Nov 2016
The world will die.

So called freaks of nature are a reminder and a warning that we are not in control
Forces of ancient times past before man or beast lived the world fashioning an excellence so beautiful it would blind you to behold
The world was so perfectly made that life had to happen it could not stop or be told
At the birth of organisms that soon will shape the earth into it's own dream became many fold
Soon life was everywhere and land was precious to all who knew the power it bestowed
A belief that everyone should live with the same rights as the man standing beside him became archaic even old
If the world doesn't change then the earth will die with it and the sun will not shine nor moon because of a perfect idea that have taken our souls.

Know
Peter Kiggin Nov 2016
Know .

Travel through a door in your mind to the place you'd most like to be
Transport all you ever were to this place and try to live the way you wanted to see
I find my self in a city that miracles can happen and will do if you do the right thing at the right time that is the secret of every living creature encapsulated by me
You can go back to the place you begun but once you've found this place you may correct history and live the story that you go to sleep at night and dream
A conundrum is life,s way of telling you a story of your whole life but deciding to tell you from the end when reality is sometimes more than a man wants to glean
Choose a path that has been already chosen for you as a meal already made to eat and the enjoyment is more satisfying or less and that is decided by your character for life in mean.

The fox took the rabbit.

Strange addiction caused affliction I try to wash it out of me
Deep inside only human sighs of what keeps me not free
A smokers vice is it's own device to burn can't you see
Death defy one more try to give up what I breathe
Two blind holes where are my eyes burnt into black grief
I can only sympathise arthritis is coming like a thief
It's time to realize a waste of passion of everything that lies beneath
We were meant for greater things like athletes but our peers disagreed and not strong enough to resist the fox took the rabbit across the heath.

The world will embrace you because from birth you have no choice
All the things can change you because  you have no voice
The sun at first will reject you because you pay no heed and rejoice
The water on the lake will reflect you because you smile and feel happy with all the other girls and boys
Play with fish and frogs amongst the bogs then you'll find your mind rearranging cogs
We shelter from weather tell tales you never would endeavor but in your mind you're dancing on the  whirling logs
Wilting flowers from the rain droop so tenderly but when the sun comes out they'll be painted by hand by you the mighty gods.

Water reflects clearly on the sun
Light blue dark blue and plum
The rocks ragged on foot and must not be stepped upon
We walk along the beach head and see what the earth has become
Tiny islands everywhere made to last I guess and many ships have crashed into them
The further you look into the harbour and past the uglier it has been ravaged by the hotels and the slums
The fishermen have all but gone and towels are on the beach till shadows cast and nights colours of pinks and reds ****** us to its welcome.

Sleep on the edge of midnight and keep away everything that may surround

Failure to communicate

I think about all the lonely people and think that life begins at first
You might be one of those lonely people with a sensitive heart trying to avoid all trouble because you know it ******* hurts
When you're one of those lonely people no one wants to know what your problems are worth
As a child I stood cold and lonely watching children playing and laughing but I didn't know them at all which made it worse
I sat in classes ignored by teachers so I'd look out of the windows were the sun warms me then as the sun beamed in I would just let my eyes slowly close and purse
This carried on through out my teenage years just looking and dreaming and sighing and fleeting something to avert what was work in an old dusty joiners shop with faces all disturbed by my presence I was cursed
My hands didn't do what my mind was thinking and when I was thinking I wasn't thinking of what I was supposed to so one Christmas I left with mutual consent versed
I joined the armed forces aged 18 years and begun to realise that there are lonely people and I fitted the army purpose
I was on a driving range and my head was full of what ifs and relieved my semi automatic weapon to my corporal and stood at the end of the line that silence was like a light bulb had burst
A few weeks later I dis-charged myself after taking an overdose of paracetamol that I had procured from a nurse
I was in self destruct mode and everything I tried taking or doing just made my mind feel much deeper depression thoughts grew into nightmares of misery from anarchistic mirth
I lost love for this country and I lost love for the earth.

Colourful virtues

I see the sun set over barley
I see black horses playing in the rain
I have Angels dancing with my brain
It feels just like a movie with stained glass windows and a Gothic eeriness to the church purposefully ingrained
All the colours make a picture to again provoke some pain
Twelve men dressed in purple pass me by with a golden cross aloft like a symbolistic nuclear bomb that was so vain
Simple men have virtues some of them can only be described as colours so gather them together and forget about the blame.

Slips down your fingers like a woman you undress
I know the feeling well and it's coming I guess
Asleep for a while of dreams that I can never confess
Motionless and happy for a while with the life I've been blessed
To see things how they could be if only I had money and a desk
Running from ones self is a journey of life and of deaths
Turn around and go back but you can't so you give it a rest
I'm sitting right here in the house that I love the best
So don't come around here because I'll send God to give you the final test.

My friends embarrassing moment.
Some people's minds whirl around all the time to make things fine
It's getting stranger all the time
It's getting stranger all the time
I sat in a suit drinking some soup with a partner of mine
As if I would be commiting a sort of crime
If I wore jeans and a T'shirt with I am trying to be different written on it ;I hope you do not mind ;
I heard the manager call the police and they said" tell him he is walking a very thin line"
Now just leave and we will be sending you in the post the attire you should be wearing if you travel and want to sit and dine"
Patronised enough I looked in the mirror of the restaurant and realised I was naked all the time and the other people did'nt like to say but your ***** is in my eye line
I was a victim of a criminal that had stripped me of my identity I find
I did a few selfies with a bottle of plonk two waiters and some spaghetti some banana custard and a piece of ham then my friend came back from the toilet and we swiftly left as he whilst peeing spilled some over the bowl and was too embarrassed so felt nothing left but to incline to leave.

All the leaves are travelling north
Make small tornados with strong winds along the path
Energy circling like the hands of time all around us happens so fast
Sometimes gives notions of birds in motion flying home after all at last
A season of dark nights are coming with long shadows that stretch and cast
A ship on the seas flies it's flag as battering waves try to sink her and her mast
Wild like a banshee she tears down trees then come the floods angry not to have appeased the power aghast
It all starts with a single spinning jenny on a sole tree that drops and flies as the light breeze grasps.

A walk to Home

Watch the fishes run on stream underneath the sun
Reflections have become a picture of yellow dandelion
Hear the birds they crow for food inside their young
Light breeze bows the corn as horses play for fun
Footpaths stretching long going everywhere beyond
I walk across fields and roam till the road I end upon
The brambles trail near the telegraph pole but the stream beneath me carries on under a bridge beside the rail station
Beyond that the stream goes low underneath were the rocks mix with stone and you can hear it as the silence on the street beneath the stream finds it's way to home.

Think of this of what you will
The world is getting smaller and yet It still needs to fill
Tomorrow someone will talk to someone else about an idea then before you know it now it is real
How can people decide what is a good idea before a mistake becomes reality before you lose confidence and begin to feel
Deny that people are dying because it's far away and it doesn't effect me and pour another scotch then fall asleep tomorrow I'll make another big deal
The world is a small place and eventually people will come to realise that there is nothing left that's worth anything to anyone so we keep on playing until the earth has nothing left to steal.

Destiny

A great happiness beheld me in mind for all eternity
Two people became as one like huge stars colliding fantastically
Light will burn forever from such energy and brighten the sky ceaselessly
In time and space change happens with a minute degree to change everything incomprehensibly
Some say only you can change your self into someone better but they are wrong as hard as we try we cannot change unless the world changes too in harmony
Like an everlasting love for one person can never change maybe the love he lost could change like nature being re-born everyday differently
I still look at the moon and think of your love was that not destiny.

Light we never will truly see

The moth hit the lamp light three times and I decided to turn it off
The damage we do to our bodies searching for light when it's darkness we feel most comfortable with
Understanding the human condition then you must go back 40,000 years or more
We are born of beasts made to act like beasts when forced
Deny our ancestry and burdon your self with too many questions to answer
If animals we were meant to be then animals we should act but the irony is knowing that fact
Romanticising the truth of the history of man and beast run very close together
The ultimate kindness is to all die of a virus leaving the world to re-energise and maybe a kinder animal will develop to become a new leader with vision for light to further our growth of what we call a brain.

Drifting beyond confidence and breaking in two thoughts is what I have got
Barely lifting my arms to reach what I see and hitting my head on protuding rocks
Sitting in mud splattered water for days just taking the weather with no defence to what ends what
Watching the world as I pass by never to save me for mortality has had my soul and eaten it like a lion eating a deer till all that's left is rot
I stick my neck out and caught on the fields overflow I need to lock
I become part of the problem that everybody needs something even if that something is not a lot
I grow into a sapling beside the river and people come to fish here but the bait is your soul and everything else you fought
Now at night I listen for the wind whether it be cold or hot
Now I am part of nature and humans just plot to be something that they know they're really not.

I look to the clear southern skies when I open my eyes and I see the lightest of blooms
Orange blue purple skies and saffron on the rise when the cosmic tunes
I want to live in a world that noises are all pearls and dropped from your eyes to ring on the strings that bind me to your voice that booms
Love all yellow flowers grow and the indigo but the greatest of all is the darkest red that deepens inside I'd almost say it consumes
I like to see you smile when no ones watching I take a peak when the door is open in rooms
If all was disclosed at once in my mind I think my senses would perpetuate and they'd stretch to the moon.

Peace cannot be described.

I am floating on a lake
While flowers surround me
My head is lucid give or take
Touching nature and living to just be
I'm enclosed all around by black and grey mountains that start to suffocate
All the people walking around noises distract inside I don't want company
Then I go beneath the water and all is calm nothing can implicate
I see a light deep down in the water so I swam towards feeling ever so free
Now I'm too deep to reach the air I need to breathe but somehow I don't need or want or wake to ever see the flowers that surrounded me on the lake
I am with the people I can understand and every day we hold hands and sing happy songs and play silly games underneath the lake to which I am glad I came strangely.

It's all about me being bold and playing the drum out loud
Why can't we see why can't we see
We live on the ground and we wear shoes to move us around
We go to places that we've never seen and at night we might dream yes we might dream of where we have been
You know what you've seen
You know where you have been
But in your mind it's not how it seemed in your dream
It's all about you and what did it mean
It's all about me and my eyes are attracted to green attracted to green attracted to green.

The extraction of truth

There are always some truth you can extract from a lie
There is always someone following you with a beady little eye
Be carefull what you wish for because it may come true and all existence will crumble and all is left and we wonder why
A man walking alone with his thoughts is wise but to share them with others maybe taken the wrong way to be paid with lives
The worlds mistake is that no one is listening and the man speaking has no conviction in truth but justice is written to convince we are all civilised.

The room

If silence has a place then it must be a room
No bigger than you would expect or smaller with a sense of gloom
Not that silence portrays misery just that if meant in time purgatory could scoop out the evil with a large dessert spoon
Contemplation is said to be good for the soul then why hasn't anyone in thousands of years ever transcended to a higher level of understanding the universe or are we reaching for the stars too soon
Maybe within ourselves we know why we draw rivers with ripples of the almighty vision the moon
The science fiction movies made to take us places that we can never reach or see because we are born of a monkey and that is innate sealing our doom
The whole of the Earth exploding until silence and a gloom that shatters the moon then total doom but you will always have the room

The Eagle soars above in the light blue skies
I am tied to the floor by gravity but imagination allows my mind clemency to disguise
What fine intelligence is capable of anything that can encapsulate an idea so large and yet so simply wise
Nature is the answer to all dreams and a place that can **** you with billions of spies
Nature nurtured us till the animal became a human and now all I see are humans with an animal instinct but the instinct is leaving us till the animal dies

Our last becomes the end
In that our first determines the rest thus comprehend
Join two rivers that will never be a friend
The imposter is like a vein that bends
Honesty is lost and truth was a tale just to condescend
A vision of the future happens once and again
Like the bread we eat today for tomorrow it will stale offend
Travel lightly always or you will see beauty pass or descend
There are magical stepping stones to the path of eternal peace but you must come to terms in the end.

The wheel will turn
Peter Kiggin Aug 2016
The wheel will turn.

There is no rhyme or no wrong or no season

We are all just living for no reason

When the monkey came out of the tree

He knew then he'd see me looking so we had a big party

All the world lets shake hands and sing a little song and rattle your pans

It's easy if you try I've done it before a billion years ago when the dinosaurs roared

I look at us now and we're still trying to figure it out so why not beat your chest and give a big shout

The worlds a big mess and people are looking more confused wearing earings in their ***** and writing tattoos then one day we'll meet again in the trees with our furry little children and the wheel will turn once again.
The human race is almost run
