Smiles
Welcome to a world full of individuality
But don't let that fool you *** it's full of hypocrisy
So hold on dearly to your sanity
Or else you'll end up a reject thrown out just like me
Because people are only as good as society let's them be
And soon you'll see
The true beauty
In Anarchy
Because sometimes you gotta bleed in order to see clearly
Behind the masks of those who appear so cheerfully
There are scars so deep with souls so sickly
Minds corrupted by mental disease and PTSD
We don't get comfort no we don't get empathy
We can't be dragging people down because we're not their responsibility
So we continue to sing our songs on this sinking ship lost out at sea
Because we couldn't be what they wanted us to be

I can't be without my imagination...
meditation is to surf
through the flow of thoughts
to get more into a positive state of mind
Sometimes in negative tone
Sometimes a nightmare alone
Sometimes I am drowning
deep...
suffocating.. barely breathing
Sometimes I submerge
struggling to breathe on the surface...
Sometimes on romantic moods
Sunbathing at a scenic beach
or dancing , kissing romantically in the rain
My adventurous thoughts
my secret rendezvous...
are all mine and mine alone...
Then I am back
on my computer.. typing words
The beauty of a poet's mind
is beyond explanation...
The beauty of a poet's mind
is beyond explanation...

There will be a day when you will stay in your room for the entire night and feel your heart throb from whatever problems you have been phased with. I want you to feel the pain and agony of being broken. I want you to look up begging for help but nobody being there for you. I want you to sob your eyes until they are all dried out. This may sound harsh but this is feelings that are better off healing themselves instead of becoming dependent on someone else's happiness. Maybe after you do this you will have an epiphany. You will look down at your wavy brown hair and think about how small your problem truly is. Then you will learn how to mend your broken soul. Once you do so, I allow you to come out of your cocoon of misery and learn how to fly.

Invocation
I'm that guy
I'm that girl
i'm on the sidelines i see the world
i watch the plays
i sit through days
take in rays and analyze your ways
I am the one asking: how do we survive?
Don't judge the scars, you fake-tanned sheep
I've become this strong-willed Moonchild without you and your magazines
I don't need your weight-loss tips and and 25 new *** positions
So I drowned for awhile.....
we all gotta sink
hit bottom
then we can push off the rocks, break free of the waves and fly
Or maybe we make it to the surface only to float for a time and an aeon
Who will judge us for the time we spend on ourselves?
DO NOT
EVER
Become stagnant
Let your life ebb and flow
NEVER BE LONELY
your strength is within you
reach inside oh my darling reach for you own soul
don't wait for someone else to tie their strings to your beating heart
and tug
do it yourself.
you are only you
your strength and your quick wit
your lightness and love of the darker humors
the gentle touches, soft weeping
the lines of your body
and your eyes brightening when they recognize my face
You are everything you were meant to be at this moment

But in the next

EVOLVE
I haven't slept in days
I can't survive this way

Megan May
She was stunning, gorgeous
Everywhere she went she turned heads
The boys whistled, the girls muttered their jealousy
They poked and prodded her until she was reduced to nothing more than a hopeless nobody
She stopped trying, she stopped looking for the compliments and the easy smiles that seemed to spring up when she came around
She didn't know what had turned the opinions of so many,
Maybe it was a nasty rumor made by a popular girl
It could have been anything really
But all that tearing down allowed her to build back up
She realized that she didn't need the makeup and the dresses and the fancy shoes to be beautiful
What really mattered was her heart, her soul
And so she found beauty inside
Her new found shining grace shone from deep beneath her skin
And although there was still muttering when she walked in the room,
She had learned to push it all aside
And see the true beauty of the world around her

Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who is the fairest of them all?

If I change my physical image,
How far can I go without causing too much damage?

Mirror mirror if I shrink,
Will they stop and make them think?

Mirror mirror what if I hide
the real me that I keep inside?

Mirror mirror is it worth these tears
To hide away in constant fear?

Mirror mirror on the wall,
When will society stop this brawl?

I killed someone dont you see,
That little girl I once called me.

For I am young and I am me,
I am the one who is best to be.
I apologize for the amount of cheesiness in this poem..
My five year old sister tolled me one day that she didn't think she was beautiful, that broke my heart. It made me think of what the next generation will look like after being influenced my us. This poem represents a child's story to hopefully create the image of a child saying it, thoughts?
