you don't love me.
I'd change it, whatever it is. I'd do anything for you.
Because once, you'd have done anything for me.

I told you that night
When the temperature hovered
At 32 degrees Fahrenheit that
Girls like me don't have a god
We are the girls with
Dark cherry lips
Cigarette smiles
That get drugs for free
We break hearts
With no remorse
Vanity is our religion
Always made up for photographs
In thick makeup and black clothes
We worship our goddess Aphrodite
And she gives us the power to be
Invincible

Run your hands
Over my body
Leave no cell untouched

Everyday I wake praying it was all a dream.
I open my eyes hoping to find you beside me.
Writing absolute crap lately, sorry.

Humanity
cannot grip the thought
of loosing everything
and everyone.
but oh my darlings,
one day our corpses will be underneath the ground;
and our souls will be dancing with Angels;
the loved ones we lost so long ago.
do not fear death,
for death brings you home.
and home is where we all belong.

We often say,
" Save me,"
as if it were
possible at all.

like catching
all the world's
waterfalls

like breathing
a fireball

like dogs playing
basketball

But those don't work,
and neither does our wish.

Hopeless
like words on the lips of fish

Try as you might
but your attempts will always
be dismissed.

The hope of salvation is
self-love that persists.
love thy self.
know thy self.
save thy self.

Society is a murderer,
With its pictures and words;
Convincing girls they aren't pretty enough
For the entire world.
Making girls go thin,
By rejecting things to eat.
It shuts minds down,
And Ignites depression.
First a little flame,
Sure to turn to a roaring fire.
Society is a monster,
And it's hiding under everyone's beds.

thankful for my angels
thankful for my demons
thankful for the battle occurring in my mind.
I'm thankful to have experienced the torture
and the pain.
I'm thankful for the bad and the good
but mainly the terrible.
for if it weren't for the terrible,
I would not be where I am today.
whether that's alive, or a writer.
either way, my heart continues to grow and learn from my past mistakes.
i am a flower,
who's petals are sure to bloom soon.
