What does it mean to have you as my best friend?
Does it mean that you really are the best?
Cause I'm always impressed
From east to west
From north to south
No one can compare how amazing of a friend you are

Supported me
Cared for me
Loved me
Trusted me
Understood my insecurities
Never complained
Criticized when needed to
But defended me in times of difficulties
Wiped my tears away
Your heart is on display
Cause you make my day

I want to hug you
I want to hold your hand and look into those sparkly eyes and say I'm happy I have you in my life
I want to show you my world
I want to give you happiness like no other
A prayer for you is my love for you
Everyday by your side I'll be your guardian angel
We will meet one day
That day will be mystical and magical
I'll show you what life really means
No sadness grief or hurt or depression will take over you
Cause your itself the source of happiness
Your love and mine together will change the world

addiction as if it’s gold

yearning for the time of marigolds

quick, fleeting; never satiated

even a bent cigarette

will have to do

tired, my body shakes

so much like the rest

of me; anxiety peaks

maybe one more minute

until i fall heavy

last embers fleeting

a final stand

the nicotine is stronger

at the end of its life

a light changes, new dawn

a leaf turned, new colours

a fresh start, different you

better mental, finally renewed

Movement of time collides
with tear drop melody
darkened angel
to final day symphony:

gun blasts in homeland
enter familiar flesh-
different tongues conceal
common threads that makes us

wounded souls call for God
in bomb dimpled lands-
far from American eyed reach
and inside

amidst spiritual sands

Treading with foot print patterns
around rock’s pure holiness
meditating in temples
laden in gold tributes

seeking truth’s distant comfort

guns blast in homelands
families wonder why-

pain embraces consciousness
dripping hints of salvation
into thick Iron pools
of Christ’s calling

red horse not so distant
seven seals awakening
run back to one
it’s time to find love

It nourished my garden
this dripping of words
from clouds in thought
and glacier energy
I found my soul
again
