Finding seed in fibers needed for the humming bird robe.
Thread twisted so,
fine fine fine,
sof-ein
my point in the twisting tale

The book my culture arose from
knowing any rose is a rose.
thank you, Gert,

this book, the book, our culture- global

the elec'ric link to steam and steel

As handspinners, we indulge our senses with each new yarn that is spun.

From <https://spinoffmagazine.com/a-practical-guide-to-ginning-cotton-by-hand/>

As handspinners,
we indulge our senses
with each new yarn that is spun.
We are entranced and soothed
as our eyes watch the twist travel through the fiber.
We fluff, stretch,
and tug it into every possible yarn configuration
and enjoy that therapeutic zen
that comes with it.
Ginning your own cotton by hand
adds another layer
of bliss
to the spinning experience.

At a glance,
we just pluck seeds
from a nest
of fiber.
You’ll want
to work methodically
in order
to save time and leave your fiber
as lofty
as possible after ginning.
Understanding how the seeds are organized
within a cotton boll and using the best technique
for the variety
of cotton that you have makes the handginning process go much easier.
A link back to an imagine robe formed from 13,392,578 humming bird heads, I assume the hearts from those heads fed priestly beings in some rite of passage.

a lot of things happened in the past
and you have fought well
so whatever the future is going to be
you are a winner
My Dear Poet Aug 2021
There are those who fight for love
with weapons as weak as wood
these are they who avoid the fire
and would hide if they could
there’s lovers, whose shields are hung
and are dented with dints
defeated by a waging war
that they had no faith in

The war for love is never won
though dressed in iron, steal or tin
when you have no hope in love
neither should you win
The strong have given it their life
in armour as soft as cloth
with a heart that gave all it had
they fought hard and never lost

I celebrate my little steps,
They lead to great success,
Cause usually we move our legs
A bit, but go so far beyond the fence.

I get so proud of my own self,
And add another piece of puzzle,
And with the greatness of that sense,
I finish picture without struggle.

But let me honestly confess
It wasn't always so and wasn't better.
I used to often get obsessed,
Each mile didn't use to matter.

I ran a lot to catch the train,
The rest turned blurred and gray,
And if I tripped, get back again
Was painful, and cause of it, today...

I celebrate my little steps,
They lead to great success

You leave me
and it feels like coming home
since nothing important ever stays
You leave me and its because I never did learn how to share
you wanted every single piece of me
Except I have nothing left
I want to give you

-I am sorry for lying about loving you
- I don’t remember loving anyone

With faith unfeigned
Receivers rule and reign
Breaking every chain
"those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Christ Jesus" (Romans 5:17)

Sway like the wind
Contract your core
Feel it harden
Let out your roar

As you release with intention
Lay her out flat
Juke
With determination
Make the blockers curse
Cause they lost track

Nickel and dime
My currency
As I make
My way back around
Securing our victory
As the venue fills with joyous sound
A poem about jamming in roller derby! ♡

It hurts to think where, everyone was taught to fly.
It hurts when, we felt the wind of desire.
Only to find a child grieving about falling.

It hurts to feel hunger.
Reaching for your stars, with only having dreams as a meal.
It hurts to cry a handful.
When tears are just sands waiting to be a desert.

It hurts to pretend,
as if Blue will turn Red the moment we give our hearts.
It hurts to be sane,
when sanity is held by the memories of the past.

It hurts that,
everyone chases the unfaltering pain we purposely seek.
