A blessing comes soon
From this food we consume
From places around the world
Another feeds a small girl
With the same seed we eat
From your table to my teeth
What a delight we can share
Whilst spreading culture everywhere
had pizza with pineapple and mushrooms on it for the first time

I get scared when you leave me
I get scared when you take hours to respond
I get scared when you’re gone
I’m happy when you are here
Where I can see you
And know you’re okay

But you can’t always be here
And neither can I
But when we are
I seem to fall into the sky
Although my worries don’t go away
You make things seem okay
I just want to be with you all day everyday
Until the day
That we both fade away
I’ll just leave this here

The feeling of craving
Your lips on mine

Hands softly holding one another
Distant souls combining as one

A connection made not just with lips
But of lustrous affection

Understand that in the moment
Everything is safe

Reassurance of unceasing love
Made with just one kiss

I got something to ask
For you only, darling
My brown eyed bear
My love of all loves

Will you miss me when the world gets dark?
Will you kiss me even when I am old?
Will you love me through the pain?

I have a question for you
My sun and my world
My air and my ocean

Will you be my rock and will you let me be yours?
Can I be the smile on your cheeks?
Or the pep in your step?
Can I be the reason for your laugh and the reason for your happiness?

Can I be yours?

It was the middle of August and I felt a little more free. I felt the breeze blow through my hair as I tried to touch Jupiter with my pinky toe while gazing at the stars. The moon was big and the bees were still buzzing and I felt so free. I felt as if I’d been whisked away by the sunflowers growing slowly but more and more each day. Take me away.
I hope one day you experience what it’s like

Let's live silently,
so that someday,
even if we're tormented
it will be alright
as long as there's a meaning
for this sorrow

O, shapeshifter reveal your truths which have no shape.

O, beast of all beasts: soaring swimming running hopping,
feathered furred scaled shrouded,
naked.
Claws reach for a submerged feast. Tail wriggling, caught by the sky.
Smooth skin hidden by design gracefully opens. Extending,
snatches a meal mid-flight.
Muscle meeting by chance, tooth taking sustenance. Ragged breathe torn
from one body to be worn by the next.
Highly sophisticated eyes become a snack.
Division ceases.

O, reveler!
O, peace in chaos!
O, pleasant reminder of romp!
O, devourer of the devoid,
shaping reality by way of playful lovers!

We are the brigade of the broken.
Take my hand and join us, so many brothers and sisters alike.
Leave your worries at the door,
For together we are strong.
Together we can live forever and be who we are.
We can heal ourselves and love our lives
Come and join us,
The brigade of the reborn
