Being on here restores my faith in humanity.
The people on here are beautiful, all in their own way.
Never I will say without flaws, we are all humans here.
No, we aren't without flaws, that us the best part,  we accept each others flaws.

The unlikeliest place to find confidence
A boosted self esteem,
When others tore and ripped my mind,
My body image,
Bullied as a child and fourth it continued,
It never seized to amaze me,
The comments they threw,
Like stones they did harm me,
My name was ugly
I named myself unique
My name was freaky
I named myself limited
My name was what many thought I was then,
I named myself what I would be now.
I grew then to be the same as before,
Or so I had thought,
One day arrived at my college life,
Your camera flashed and I began to feel
Different...
They named me ugly
You made it feel as though I wasn't
They named me a freak
You used me for art
To this day,
Years after that,
Thanks to you,
I don't feel so ugly
Don't feel as much like a freak,
You showed me,
I can be infront of the camera and not always behind it.
Thank you,
For being more than a photographer,
More than a friend,
You were a boost to this bullied little girl's self worth and self esteem!

Human love enhances floating dust particles
Platanas autumn colours invigorate this day
Between half open eyelashes Sun rays refract
The bountiful light in delicate rosette offering.

I lay, I thought, dying.
You lay beside me, not letting me.
When I could not form a word,
You knew instinctively what I needed.
I looked at you through clouded vision,
Yet somehow I could see with perfect clarity how much you loved me.
You inspired me, to live, despite the diagnosis.
I can't say thank you enough.
I only hope time gives me enough of itself to allow me to try.

no, it's not perfect,
yes i still cry
but oh my god
it is wonderful to be alive.
remember how i used to hate myself?
well, i'm getting better
thanks to you.
i used to think i was worthless
but you made me see

It's one of those things that just needs to be knocked into you sometimes.
Sometimes it's knocked into you by the people you least expect by reasons you would have never guessed.
So thank you to anyone who knocked sense into me.

Leaving your mark upon me,
Kissing my shaking hand,
Keeping my dreams above me,
Loving me despite high demand,

Calming my nervous thought,
Holding me in your arms,
Helping me through fights fought,
Standing beside me despite alarms,

Ignoring the unnecessary struggles I cause,
Embracing my love, although I might be annoying,

who wished me a good day.
to the teacher who said
'i always knew you could do it'
and the one who helped me say
'goodbye' to my low self esteem.
to the sad girl with the blog
who reassured me i was not alone.
to the woman who made me
laugh and always listened
and proved that there is hope.
to the two who are always there for me:
the girl who taught me
how to live
and the boy who showed me
what true friendship really is.
to the aunt who told me
'it's okay to be you'
and the grandmother who demonstrated
how to always stay strong
and how to thine own self be true.
to the little girl with bright blue eyes
who spoke to me when i was
so alone.
