the life that thrums through this earth
and courses though your veins;
it is intoxicating.
i have stared into your soul
and found it very
empty and
cold and
i find it strange that you,
my lovely star,
my sun,
you are lonely.
you give your energy and your light
at no cost.
has anyone ever asked what you need
or what you want?
do you wonder why none have
ventured to see you up close?
they are afraid of your heat
and your raw beauty.
i would gladly sit and
burn
by your side,
my love.

tell me;
what's it like to hang from a string,
suspended in space,
and love beyond all boundaries?

i have always kind of disliked the color yellow
i have astigmatism in one eye
and bright things tend to blur together
and give me a headache
no matter the distance
so i didn’t like the color yellow
until i met someone who likes yellow like flowers in sunshine
and has a smile bright enough to give the sun envy
i always maintain
that it takes eight minutes and twenty seconds for sunlight
to warm me and the rest of the planet
but it just takes a look from my brightest friend
to fill everyone around him with warmth
and after a few years of knowing him
(it might be my imagination)
my astigmatism is getting better
another free verse for class
I’m loving these wealth vibrations
Through my body coursing
Filling me with warm sensations
Strong and reinforcing

Like sunshine lightly on my skin
Making that day brighter
Warming my soul from deep within
Making burdens lighter

Power surging, hope inviting
Filling me completely
Dreams are coming, quite exciting
Wealthy vibes warm sweetly

Forty-five down the parkway.
Windows down,
76 degrees,
And the smell of rain.
Humidity,
Wet earth,
Flowing through the windows
And down my throat,
Through my lungs,
Into my bloodstream and
Blanketing itself around my brain.
Nostalgia is my drug of choice.
Beauty doesn’t come
In forms of days like these
Too often.

Along the meadows the sun shone its bright colors, glorifying the beauty of nature. I knew I was right where I wanted to be. I knew the wind howling in the distance was a call from the birds who were ready for me to come outside and play. School was almost over and the kids were riding bikes along the paths of sunshine and yellow flowers. The sun woke me up that day and I knew that I was right where I needed to be. With the sun shining over me and the sound of the birds just waiting for me to come outside and play.
The sunshine is beautiful and so are you

If I bring the sunshine with me,
Will you bring the spring rain?
My green fingers; your verdant heart,
My hope; your promise.

'Let it grow, let it grow,
Let it blossom, let it flow,
In the sun, the rain, the snow,
Love is lovely, let it grow.'
- Eric Clapton

your soul is the sun
