There is no *** of gold
Only a mixtape of funny songs
At the end of the rainbow
Dornish Bastard May 2015
No memories
No triggers
No other reason for my tears

Just one guitar
Just one voice
Just the music in my ears
Have you ever heard a song (for the first time) and it was just so beautiful that it made you cry? I have. Many times. This time it was 'Let It Go' by James Bay.

Time we have been together
All come back to me now.
I don’t want to go away
But you left me no choice.
The places we visited
The nights we spent in each other’s arms
The movies we watched
The gifts we exchanged
The parties we rocked together
The promises we made
The tight hugs
The passionate kisses
The songs we sang together
The tough times
The happy moments
All are coming back to me.
I wonder whether
It is the day of parting
Or the day of gathering?
But this is the final good bye.
But this is the final good bye.

No more sadness
No more blues
I'm trying to assist her in forgetting about you.

Oh, when I took your place.
I tried to erase you from her imagination.
Yes, when I took your place.
I trying to erase all the bad things you have done.

Cause while with her
I never hear good things you ever done with her.

And from my perspective.
She's a good woman.

So when she mention you.
I try to erase all the harm you ever done.

No more frowns.
Or unhappiness
I just want her to know you simply not worth it.

Cause my my view.
She's a great lady.

So when I took your place.
I try to erase you from her imagination.

By giving hope.
By giving her support.
By giving her my love.
I hope she will cherish more.

There are many foolish men in existence.
Who use and abuses good women?
For no apparent reason.
This was crafted as if Smokey Robinson had wrote it.

Tonight the Sky cried for me.
The crickets sang, for me,
The most captivating melody.
The Wind whistled at me,
and wrapped around me, envoloping me in it's beauty.
And for the first time in a long time
I felt at peace,
free of anxiety.
I felt pretty.

And I'm so dang lucky
to hear God's voice in everything
whispering,
"I love you, darling."

A world of fragile things,
where love and dreams and darkness all collide.
Even though this fragile world is tearing apart,
taunted by the shadows, I lie inside myself for hours.

Lost whispers
awaken within me,
like a lullaby,
burning deep inside of me:

"Closing your eyes to disappear,
so afraid to open your eyes.
Safe in the dark, how can you see?
Open your eyes to the light."

She beckons me,
The Goddess of Imaginary Light.
Arms outstretched, awaiting me,
high above the world below,
Shall I give in?

Frozen in my place,
safe inside myself,
I'm still a slave to these dreams.
Why must we fall apart to understand how to fly?
Maybe this time we can leave our broken world behind.

Look past the end, it's a dream.
All just a dream in the end.
This is a medley of phrases from different Evanescence songs. Try it out with your favorite artist; it's cool to form something new out of pieces of their work. Of course, all rights and credit for each individual phrase from each song go to Evanescence.

One tree frog singing
A thousand join the chorus
Soon silence returns

I want to scream all these lyrics that remind me of you. So hopefully you'll realize how much I ******* miss you, and just how much I think of you.

lyrics are the words
she could never
put together
herself

Did you ever wonder,
Like I always wondered,
What kind of love
Story you would have?

It was hard to imagine,
I've come from so far away...
We are surrounded by war,
But we make each other laugh.

We laugh,
We laugh,
We laugh,
We laugh...

She is the color
Of the sun when it sets,
A hazy bronze hue-
She is my breath.

She's from the desert
Far beyond the sea-
She could be from Heaven.
She is an Angel to me.

To me,
To me,
To me,
To me...

I'm just a man.
I came here to find my way.
Our families won't approve.
We'll love each other anyway

(We love each other any- anyway.)

Our customs are different.
As different as night from day.
Traverse the dymensions.
I'll meet you halfway.

We shoot across the sky,
And answer the riddle.
How could we make love?
We kiss in the middle.

Kiss in the middle,
Kiss in the middle,
Kiss in the middle,
Kiss in the middle.
A few days ago, a friend e-mailed me a musical recording that he and his brother had worked up. He gave me a working title of Kiss in the middle and an idea of a long-distance relationship. I was invited to write a treatment for the lyrics. I had the idea of star-crossed lovers over a cultural divide. The narrator is perhaps American or British...he joins the military to venture out in the world and find himself. He ends up in the sands of the war-torn middle east. That is where he meets his love. Moreover, he is a mere man at heart but. Feels she is inbued with a celestial purity. The first two verses he is telling the reader about it. The last verse, he is encouraging very directly to his love that they meet on a cultural median where they Kiss in the Middle. This is a first draft, and as it is further collaborated will probably change drastically. I hope you like it. Copyrights to lyrics by Cecil Miller. 5/15/2015
