Sequester me in your embrace tonight,
Guide me through these troubled skies.
Navigate with me through the stars so bright,
Teach me how it feels to fly.
Short. Simple. Hope you enjoyed.

The quietness
come from under skin of the world
The wind
come from the wishes between dreams
The skies singing
in the midst of clouds
The shadows running to the shine
Old stars were some part
of the ocean blue
Jupiter never come to the world
Jovian ring never see aurora polaris
The world never walk to the universe.

sing sweet bird
carved out of light
and air,
lord of the silvering birch,
monarch of the drifting skies.
beth fwoah dream Oct 2015
moon of mist
and blue-edged
cloud,

bends to the floor,

as if the skies
dreamt
of slumbering streams.
beth fwoah dream Oct 2015
night melts her leaves
on the winds
carrying the cloudy
scurry of the sky
to the cindery lanes.

I am cursing the rain in bright black and grey ink in beautiful cursive writing. I know you're questioning how black and grey can be bright but If you don't know, you'll never know.

I am painting sunsets on canvas but with pastels instead of neons. It's almost a bit too sad instead of a bit to happy; so fitting for a sun that's disappearing, right ?

I am swallowing pills mixing them with liquor, testing out theories to see if I can find the right way to write. All I see is blurry candle light and a dragon on my wall telling me my writing *****.

And it's sad to think how pessimistic this poem started but how within a 15 minute drive home I've come to see....

That all the rain cleared up the night sky and out came those glimmering ***** of fire we call stars. I've caught myself staring but I always have different emotions with each glance.

Tonight..I guess the world isn't so sad after all.

This a "plain simple summer weekend,"
A vastness of terrain awaits us here,
Clean skies and cool breezes send
An unending limitless blue so clear,

This is it, the mountain spring and pine,
One lost lover, through thick and thin over
The years and never forget this moment,
The land only belonging to the great mother.

Like a forbidden island of delights it awaits,
Valley and fields and palm trees, streams,
Into hidden forests and meadows, our new beginning,
Forever...! Through all the years light now dimming,

But it's just the same, light and dark...everything disposable
Accept this image I have of you holding onto me, the spark,
It seems now we are all this pose-able, like some kids toys,
Not interested to take a walk past the rush, even if it's a safe park.

Love now lost, why? Just to be cast on the rocks of tomorrow,
It does seem that death started with something of sorrow,
It does seem everyone is addicted to the next big craze,
Save your pretty penny for the rainy day, sunless haze.

It's all about you, even when it's really about me, I'll make
Everything change, I promise, give this art a chance it makes
Perfect sense if you care to pretend my pointlessness matters,
If I sat there and served everyone, a security guard, car salesman,
I would matter, but no, I'm worthless because I hate those things
I would rather  die than carry on being a waste for not liking
These %#@#$@ jobs that they keep shoving in my face!

As I glance at the stop sign one last time,

*BASH...the cars tires still spinning...
It's all a breeze...until the high wears off. Give it time, you can ignore this message or you can heed it. But it's always the same bitter darkness when you finally wake up...

And through the archway
to the field -
I saw what one would see
what one would see if they could build
build a world of free and blue
flowers on the grassy land
while the wind blows eastward
and takes the green-leafed hand
And under the bridge
to the lake -
I saw what one would see
what one would see if they could make
make a world of wonderful
birds that sing
while the wind blows eastward
and a present it does bring
And over the meadow
to the sky -
I saw what one would see
what one would see if they could fly
fly to the clear skies
atop the heads of all
so through the clouds so white and tall
I saw what one would see
What one would see if they had all!

Behind the evening's golden glow
The skies are hiding early snow
The road leads homeward toward the glow
Day is done, it's time to go

The gold shows ending of the day
The clouds show snow is on the way
Time to ride and not to stay
I've got to put this one away

Amber fills the autumn skies
Signalling the storm behind it lies
It's time to say our fair goodbyes
And be serenaded by coyote cries

The golden sheen is the sign
Your day is done, as is mine
I'm heading west along the line
Back to the ranch "The twisted nine"

A golden glow before the clouds
filled with snow, a winter shroud
I know the wind is getting loud
So I am off to beat the crowd

Behind the evening's golden glow
The skies are hiding early snow
The road leads homeward toward the glow
Day is done, it's time to go

Kind faces smiling,
Nodding politely at words
They don’t seem to understand.
Show me pictures
Showing the richness of
A faraway distant land.
Multicoloured motor cars,
Brown apartments rising high
In Puerto Rican skies.
"In Puerto Rican Skies" was based on a song I wrote at 18 years old, and hasn't changed a whole lot since.
