And we held each other as we weeped for our earth.
Our mother.
Mother nature, she gave birth to us and watches us as society hurts us, neglects us, and abuses us.
Feeling her tears in the rain, and her pain in the cold wind, her worry within the brewing storms, and discomfort in the scorching sunshine.
We take comfort in one another knowing someday things will get better my beautiful sister
And no longer will we cry tears for our mother's creations.
For our mother's home.
For our bodies that the world is destroying.

I tried to reach out to someone about depression.
About how I want to die.
He talked about his life--
Then we had ***.

At first they're just a seed really rough and *****... But they never let you see how beautiful and incredible they really are. So, they start to grow all twisted and unpredictable. Then they start to grasp on the pretty face in a perfect phase, not seeing their own amazing and beautiful self. You try to shake them free of all that nonsense they hear on t.v. But every time you shake roses it only makes them wish harder to be that pretty face everyone seems to want. When you catch them cut you try to stop them, tell them how much you love them. You couldn't realize that they believed only by cutting could a rose let go all the mean things said and grow. Then it happened, too soon, only a second with their finger on the trigger, now their gone forever. Too bad you couldn't see the beauty of a black rose.

I’m not good with words and worse with expressing. But, I’ll try.
We all are searching for something, someone special. We try to search for dots, squares- shapes that are our similar kinds. We fall innumerable times and sometimes that leaves us questioning our faith, our beliefs, our potential- overall, maybe ourselves. And we stop trying. A hand reaches out to us. That hand stands with you, for you, some times even slaps you while you’re losing yourself again. It hugs you, comforts you in those lonely winter nights and feels the raindrops falling upon its palm through the grills of the window. It guides you, pointing out like a signage and it never fails you. That one person guides you, holds you, loves you for no reason comprehensive whatsoever. They make you look at yourself with hope, with love.
And more than some times, we fail to realise that while we were busy searching for more than something that’s ordinary love, that love had been standing beside us all this while and maybe, more.

We write to reach out
to anyone
who is close enough
to read the words
that spill from our minds
Trying
without gain
for those that stop
to make them see
to make them stay
If only long enough to feel again
but as is the way of things
they linger for just a moment
then continue on their way
as the world stops for no one
and surely not for the troubled writer
lost in isolation
and ever searching
for a friend
