If eclipses happen everyday
Would the world even stop to look?
This is a poem made by my little sister last April and don't worry I asked for her permission to post lol
Priorities
Birth
Principles.
Changing your principles,
Without counter-checking your priorities,
Can cause a huge mess,
Very confusing one,
The two - principles and priorities.
Go hand in hand..
Your priorities detect your principles, your principles protect your priorities.

Sitting on hold
Letting the silence grow
But I don't hang up
Because this is one of four phone calls we'll share this month
I feel like I owe it to you to stay on the line
But twenty minutes have passed now
And I've got things to do
I've waited on you my whole life
And I'm finally learning how to hang up
How to feel more sorry for myself than I do for you
Work has always been more important to you than your family
I've known that since I was young
Since I would chase your car down the driveway after you returned home from the office
So excited to see you
Because it seemed like you were never there
And I still feel that excitement when you come in town
But it's been dulled by the waiting
Waiting for you to hang up with a coworker
Waiting for you to keep to your promises
Waiting for you to stick around
Waiting for you to admit your mistakes
I'm still on hold
And you still believe work is more important than your daughter
So I hang up
Because I'm tired of waiting

I'm just in this time of my life
where I don't care about anything.

I don't care what time it is when I wake up,
what's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
I don't care about what I'm going to do in the day or what I'm going to wear.
I don't really care about what is around,
how's the weather,
or what's going on in the country
with the politics, economy,
or religious problems.
I don't even care who is or not in my life
or what people think and say about me.

I just in this time of my life
where I only care about me,
about survive,
about knowing how to deal
with each circumstances
that try to destroy me.
Tired of being worried about anything else but my life.

I woke up.
Messaged you.
Brushed my teeth.
Washed my face.
Had breakfast.
Swept the floor.
Cleaned the dishes.
Surfed online.

Then you messaged me back, saying you had-

Woke up.
Rode a bike.
Jogged with friends.
Breakfast.
Took a bath.
Went somewhere.

And where was I? Ah! *At the last.

I finally realised your priorities when we started to drift
First 10 word story, more to come!

(1)
I'm not the one you turn to
When the day is about to end
I'm the one you turn to
When you say you need a friend.

(2)
I'm not the one you turn to
When your feet are on solid ground
I'm the one you turn to
When your world has turned upside down.

(3)
I'm not the one you turn to
When you say you need a hug
I'm the one you turn to
When you want to hear, "Well done!".

(4)
If this is how it's going to be
We need to clear a few things up
You have to set your priorities straight
Or this will have to stop.

(5)
It's not fair to only need me
When your life seems somewhat glum
I have my share of off days
You're not the only one.

(6)
You don't need me in the good times
Only on the darkest days
But if you search and cannot find me
It's because you forced me to walk away.

This is                                                                          going to be
one of those nights                                                        I hopelessly
                                                       wait

up for you                                                                   only to be
disappointed again,                                                      isn't it?

Kicked to the curb
all dust and water and ash.

Passed over easily
not worth the time to step on.

Best of people
fail to offer your satisfaction.

*** drive takes over
and promises more than one release.

Its like you finally
picked a scab that was itching

and without a glance
cast it to decay.

You expect to bleed
and for that bond to come back.

Eventually only scar
tissue will be left;

is a reminder enough
to replace us?

We bleed as well
when you cut our sternum

and wiggle our ribs
to rip out what you want.

You choose to bleed
and we come for more abuse.

Whose marrow will
give in to the end coming?

everything impermanent doesn't matter
                       everything is impermanent
