Mystic Ink Plus Dec 2021
Well
A full moon
In the dark night
Stayed around the fire

Did nothing
Thought nothing
Warmed
Her winter's blue
Uplifting her spirit
Hide and seek

Gone too far
As if
No one realizes
Genre: Observational
Theme: The Muse
Author's Note: Now one can see her from everywhere

I often lock my eyes
On the sight of the sky
And I stare into the night
Under the glow of moonlight

Through this looking glass
I could see
An entire world out there
Looking back at me
Mon Amour

When a man whispers
"His feet hurt, and his shoes
are too small and
he's forgotten how to dance."
He prays noone else
understands his dilema,
nor what this means but I do.
No moon rises betwéen his
lowly stinky creepy
femfatales shoe-less other.
My moon spins way up higher
in orbit serving mystic functions
and our moon glares
in each others eyes
as our breathing sighs in love.
True love is our vine that
reigns in us as gravity rules on Earth.
With trips to nowhere and back
In love and without presence
I remain lost and found
a restless Angel.

the light is promised
yet the dark is honest

The cold January air has filled my lungs. A fiery gaze I give the moon—my tight breathing, hitching, my divine shadow foreshadowing what will happen next. Blood and my sweet cherry wine.

The stars hovering over the moon and the gray clouds fogged up, and him beside me. His heartbeat almost dug out of his chest; even if I can make out what he will say next, I make sure I wear an all smile. He needs to see I am better off without him. He needs to know I will be okay.

And the next thing I knew... He was gone far away like a ship in the night, drowned by waves and the dark, fiery gaze of the ocean. I listen, and as I slowly lose the noise of everyone, I lose myself. And then this song came; another tear swelled at the sight of my eyes. I sang a little bit, and a part of me lost everything that night.

The cold January air and my sweet cherry wine.
I remember how I stopped writing when I was grade 12 and now that I'm on my second year as a college student, I'm here again... Meeting the old self I buried years ago.

And to top it all, I'm tired. Aren't we all? But somehow, the universe always put me back together like missing puzzles and I regain some of my strength. And here I am, back again.

The first half light crescent sneaked out
catching a glimpse of you glinting
exuberant on the pitch dark
edge of the other side of the pool
wrapped in pure kohl.
Time and again matching the vision
it waxes into the full moon.

Awake all night in the serene shadow
down the blinded silhouetted earth.
I can see out off its calm lock
a firefly flies out and maybe afar
but that view might not miss no star.
But does even the moon see the tuberose
blooms in dark earth deep down the kohl?

Drawing down the moon
eyes on deep down the ocean.
Perhaps no sketch on the up for a dwarf
but deep down may be a mirror.

Dear Lady Moon,

I can feel your pearly white gaze,
It fills me with inner warmth

Your imperfections; your craters
They make you unlike any other

I find myself looking up at you quite often these days
I think she’s been watching over me with her midnight rays

She comes to visit me at night
With her moonbeams bright

Her light of comfort puts me in a starlight daze

I see her and she sees me
Her light shines gleefully

My protector; the watcher
I’m thankful for
my night time stalker

do not attempt any magic
when the full moon glow
during dark magic hour
powers are dull
we are already dealing with more than we can handle
so draw a bath
burn Palo Santo
Light a candle
and rest your precious soul
when the full moon glow
it will come
we will cleanse
it will go
it will leave our magic low
only to regrow
and overflow
until the next full moon glow
