A song lasts forever once it is held
as a secret found, arriving with
these words, “seek me not when you wish
to find me, you will adrift to my embracing
arms unknowingly, whether in leaves as pages,
stars as eyes, flowers as hearts, the floating
petals as the lover’s touch, the words we share
as the moon drifting the waves, I seek to
be the one that touches you as the stars in their tides,
the soft lavender dancing in the wind and carrying
the aroma through your hair, nature allows you to see
the light silently glowing in others, the steps of people
are as the fields soaring under a zephyr wind,
your hands reach for the skies, I return to you as your
origin, as the fragile and deep bud waiting to be opened
as the others, whom, as you, await the sunlight awakening,
seeker of truth, look no farther than the bird upon
your palm, singing a prayer of home to be
created wherever you may roam, whether it is
in the fields of flowers or in the beyond
of you and I.
My Dear Poet May 2021
A child found her soul mate
beneath the tears of her eyes
so she kept them in jars of clay
with sighs and gentle cries
wishing the days away
till that day when they would meet
and gift him the collected tears
in the jars when they would greet
Lifting lids from off the jars
he would hear the cry of her heart
pouring them into his soul
she wish washed his will to part

Feet first into the cosmic sea
Swelling and crashing over
All our buildings and dreams
Forever is a children's fable
Sit and watch me start to fade

Green spec on the wonder bread
And totally unnoticed she'll spread
Until every slice is perfectly saturated
And eventually tossed into the trash
And eventually tossed into a landfill

Feet first into the cosmic sea
Where we do go when breathing ceases
Deceased and tossed into the trash
And eventually tossed into a landfill
With all the other promises of forever
Just a thought, kind of negative, but... It's poetry.

Wait for me, I will follow you to
Wherever you and I can pursue,
A life not bounded by domestic walls,
A love which can flow amid the stream of false.
Alas!! It sounds too good to be true.

Implore me with a beautiful view,
Where we can walk in the dawning dew.
As the sun rises, let us come to a pause.
Wait for me…

In winters I wish you could help me sew
A sweater, while warm broth shall I brew.
As nigh draws the end, let age be the cause,
For the night to grieve for our loss.
Alas if it is too much to ask you?
Wait for me…

DEAR PENPAL PEOPLE, we can feel people without knowing them too:)

angel nested in heaven

made earth feel like hells of seven

marked some scars in place of tears

maybe not in my right to dear

more for the blood is in the own

but swear my love will be tamed on her stone

Dirt dried and cracked upon my weathered face
The black hole in my soul
Covered only by the carefully stitched fabrics
          Of my two-day old clothes

          A man out of time
Handprint impressions
Depressed in my mind
          Sing to me darkness
Shed the weight from these eyes

Quiet is the lullaby
That cradles and rocks me to sleep
Somewhere down deep, I call out to you
In silence you speak
          Peace

From the ashy ground
Lays the lovers that had fled
Both life gone, but together they still are one
Forever will they hold each other’s hands,
even as they had torn through death
Lovers buried but still their love remains together, never apart

My heart professes perpetuity, and was so faithful to, yet my mortality minds no frame nor memory of you.

This epidermis sheds and skins from disuse; need my heart evidence, might my chill-cracked palms be your proof?

The contours of your constitution, all known by their names, are perhaps now amended by the passage of passing age and days.

The sirens of your voice's sound, awaken me from my dreams; the symphonies of my soul's supplications, now so strange and foreign seem.

My heart professed perpetuity, and is so faithful to, so should this skeleton and its dependents devoice - mon Amour; my heart remains with you.
