You congratulate me
On every... tiny... victory
Like I am tiny, like I'm a baby
Whose cheerio bowl is emptied
On time with the finale of your meal
And cheered on when I'm not whiny
When fighting this or that ordeal
And like a parent to a child
You tell me that you're proud of me
As if YOU get the reward of pride
As though you built my profile
But through all your ignorance...
I smile
Entertained by anything shiny.
You didn't make me into this fighter. But I do hope you're inspired. You barely know me.

Sometimes
In healing ourselves
We end up
Making ourselves stronger
Than before
I've been ill for a week now and today, as I was practising singing, I realized that my voice had in fact opened/cleared up more than ever before - all because I have been using all sorts of home remedies to cure a bad throat.

I realize that this is actually true even for something as serious as depression. Having experienced it first hand, it's easy today, for me to say that fighting depression only makes you stronger than ever! Of course, if you don't give up. If you're reading this, and resonate with even one word here, please don't give up on a good fight. It may seem impossible from where you stand but even if for a moment, you could believe this, know that light does exist and it is waiting as eagerly to be found by you as you are to discover it.

Good wishes and energy,
A fellow human

When some stories hidden,
untold being written!

When the night is dark lonely,
the thoughts go soulfully!

When the eyes circling inky,
the pens go inking!

When the hearts go sinking,
the words flow brimming!

When the insides have thunders,
the pens create wonders!

The deep seated ire
makes the pens fire!

The lone brave fighters,
are the late night writers!
My pen...my gun
To fight all emotions

You thought you could degrade me and make me believe I was nothing.
Nice try.
You thought you could make me do as you please and make me feel worthless.
You did your best.
You all thought you could make me believe you cared for your own selfish gain.
A for effort.

I welcome your challenges, they just make me that much stronger.
Thank you, for making me a fighter.

Eyes staring, glaring,
Beauty she is wearing,
Weight of the world baring,
Cannot stop her caring,
Everyone comparing,
Swearing, tearing, wearing her,
     Breaking her,
          Fallen down,
               Face down,
                    Flat down,
                         Down,
                              Down,
                                   Down,

                     Shattered...

Small looks despairing,
Silent tears repairing,
Strong and firm declaring.

Too
Too is an opinion
Not a fact

Too varied just means varied with
Personal doubt dragging it down

There is no such thing as
Too intelligent
Too driven

Too doesn't make you weak.

I fight to be too.

You should fear too.
Some feedback I was given when being turned down for a new job.

She doesn't own a fighter's body
Neither does she carry weapons
But the thing they have in common
Is... She has a fighter's heart
She fights for her daily bread
The world is her battlefield
She's a lionesses well challenged
Her battle is internal
Between her soul and her body
She chooses to work than to beg
The bread she earns is her trophy

Her love spreads like wildfire
Even though lies do the same
The world has many things to say to her
Kind words never came
But her love continues to shine
Even in the darkest days
Her light will never be put out
There's too much love in her gaze
She is love.

I'm not a writer
Gathering marvellous words
Spreading healing poems

I'm a fighter
Trying to survive
Avoiding bad omens
