It was all real
For a moment
And I was sad
When I woke
But happy to have
Spent an hour with you
Even in the shortest naps
I live lifetimes with you

have always wanted to escape reality-
from disney princess movies as a kid
to being a pre teen feeling real ******
reading all those fantasy books
then discovered romance and ****
as a weird teenager that barely lives
and keeps wanting to cut
myself but I know nobody gives
a single **** about my dreams
because I've always wanted to just fly
or shoot beams
or getting really really high
with dopamine in my veins
because if I met my fated partner in a whole another world
I'll be content for no reason
at all <3

I keep a dream in my shoe…
Its tucked in-between my sock
So when I’m feeling blue
And rain begins to talk

I flip my point of view
Then dreams begin to flock
Pick one out, something fun and new
A dream in the head is a path on a walk
Writing for the sake of writing. Found a fun idea and built on it. Might come back to it :)
Edit: came back, I really like the direction of the ending now.

Now I close my eyes
While a twilight veil floods over me
I fall through my surroundings
Thinking of where I want to be

Casting, scenes, and wardrobe
I must be entertained
Something new, bright, and upside down
I don't want them tamed

Why dream if its not dreamy
So thats just what I’ll do
When wandering through rooms of thought
Theres always something new

I'm dreaming my life

in a parallel world, it's --

a roller-coaster.
In response to Esther Gerritsen's lack of critical imagination in describing the mental rollercoaster in her novel "Gebied 19" ("Area 19", part of the visual cortex in the brain, 2023, Esther Gerritsen), with a reference from me to the story "De achtbaan" ("The roller-coaster", 1953, Belcampo)

Goddess of USR Mar 2024
In Riverside Square, a vision in blue,
A goddess descends, in morning's first hue.
Her train flows like rivers, the steps cannot tame,
Each fold tells a story, each whisper a name.

Her thoughts are a secret, a dance in the air,
Of a love that's awaited, a soul's matching pair.
The world may keep turning, but for her, it waits,
For the moment of meeting, the twist of the fates.

She dreams of a man, with hair like the night,
In visions so clear, she feels his light.
Their souls entwined in time's tight grasp,
Promises made, with each breath, they clasp.

From futures unseen and pasts well-trod,
Their paths have crossed, against all odd.
In the heart of the city, where dreams take flight,
She waits for Dublin, in the soft twilight.

The Now is her canvas, the past her muse,
In the dance of the cosmos, none can refuse.
For love knows no bounds, no time, no space,
In the Now, they'll meet, in a destined embrace.

As dawn breaks the silence, and stars fade away,
The goddess in blue finds the courage to say,
"Though time may divide us, and distance may test,
Our love is the journey, and hope is our quest."

With hearts full of longing, they reach through the years,
Their love is a beacon, transcending all fears.
In a world ever-changing, one truth does remain:
Love's promise eternal, again and again.
