This measure of time
Slowly filling up with rhyme
A lovely design
I do not claim to have my masters,
But, at times I can be quite daft
The knowledge that I now possess
Helps me understand my past

The past holds all the answers
It's just circling its course
It did not take me 1000 years
To be this well rehearsed

A diamond ring in a cloudy sky still shines
As I reminisce to better times
Fleeting thoughts of a ***** mind
Can not one moment be defined

Erase the past and move forward
To the horizon up ahead
Separate the good from bad
Remember what was said

Listen to the voice of reason
Do not feel resigned
There is no gold at the end of a rainbow
None that you will find

Instead, rely on instinct
A reflex if you're blind
To help you see what is important
Made all by Gods design

It's as if
holy
work
is always
in progress

By design,
lifeless,
birth
is always
in progress

By design, the petals of glass
shatter in champagne, it's
By design, the empty glass
leaves open air for

for crystal black.

It's as if
life grows
great
with divide
by design

I inhale.
You breathe
out.
Done fighting.
Wind up dead.

By design, our lungs sputter black
past accomplishments, it's
By design, we embalm the dreams
we see as meaning, we

keep them.

we keep them.
End.

See you around, space cowboy.

it,
within me
sings
the door
the beckoning

i'm afraid
to look inside

i may just find
no thing alive

by consequence
by design

by my burdens
i'm defined

by my curses
i'm refined

my consequence
my design

This tributary
Happy accident
Shyness
Flagrance
Deeply inspected

This notorious
Dearth, designed my life
So why
Not write
Why not paint pictures?

The donor with the ink
The spread recipient
Left and stayed

The ink that he left fades
The fade that he left stains
She made the mistake of
Looking for love as an anchor

Two lovers' worth or lack alike
Fabricate their draft designs
I'm incomplete, a mess
Two lovers' worth or lack alike
Fabricate their draft designs
A complete mess

Best if I reverse design
and I publicize
notorious dearth as proper opulence

Some of my idols don't do drugs
With blinders on **** your idols dead by dawn
Being the case I **** mine with shame
Reagan would have loved their hatred of me
Being the case he would hate me, too

Bring me your disdain, bring me
Baskets overflowing, ***** apples and oranges
Mess of accidental fruits of unaware labor
I guess malice blesses my innate behaviors

We alter the stars to outcry
We alter time, ascend, divine
We alter time of death
Design last breaths
Next in line.

You created my inmost being; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I was woven together in the depths of the earth; from the first stitch your eyes saw my unformed body.  Before you completed that first row all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

You selected the yarn by colour, by weight, choosing the texture with utmost care. You picked out the ideal needles, counted the ***** of wool and with a smile settled down to cast on that first stitch.

Your fingers blurred into action as you chatted with family, confident of the pattern you yourself designed  -

With a knit and a pearl the stitches increased and decreased to ensure the desired shape, maintaining a consistent gauge stitch after stitch, row after row.

And after hours of knitting and chatting, with a satisfied sigh you cast off and held up the result of your handy work to the light for all to admire.

How precious you are to me. How I wonder at this body knitted together with such love and with such great skill.  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully knitted.
Psalm 139:13 For you created my inmost being;  you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I have been out of this website
To get some focus on my goal
Now I have returned to this platform
The look is changed, with the same soul

I love to spend my time on this club,
Full of really special bunch of poem makers
You can now start a conversation with anyone
This poem will help you as the ice breakers
I like to know your comments.

Once my birth was simple:
you made me up unwillingly;
I leaped from your forehead like
Athena did from Zeus'.
You were more than just a father-figure
and back in those days
you found joy in my design.
From a glance of you
I learned the light,
from another the darkness itself.
I craved to know more
but somehow you lost the will teach me;
to finish my making real.
And now
in the embrace of
your torturing abandonment
I became my own midwife:
to learn my own creation,
to be my own design.
