a dream

we are at your house
you are holding me in your arms
your friends are there, and my friends in their embrace
the two of us are so high

we watch a movie
(the lion king is your favorite -
but you love all disney movies)
and we make stupid jokes
and laugh until we cry
and i can taste the smoke on your lips
as you lazily attempt to kiss me
i can feel your smile

and to think that in this world
where nothing ever goes right -
i have someone like you
to turn sorrow into sweet dreams
yo i'm ******* gay as **** dude homie slice. is this even a ******* poem idk

so much of my
life has been
struggling
with what happiness
means to me.

so many of my
thoughts have been
struggling
with how i
could ever deserve it
could ever find it.

it's been living
under my skin
this whole time.
i just needed
to realize;
being happy isn't like
in the movies.

happiness isn't
a magical serendipitous revelation
that happens
and suddenly
nothing ever goes wrong again.

happiness is
those moments
where you are peaceful
where you are content
where you are in
close proximity to
something you love.

if we could make
the idea of happiness
that much simpler,
we could make
life
that much simpler.

this simple concept,
can bring clarity to all
or it can sting like a bee.

so simple in nature,
yet so hard to deliver.
what a mystery.
Hm. What is it?

I hold within me everything
I want to be a concept
A multitude know by some
A little thing I wrote last night whilst drunk

It's easy to fall in love
When you've been starved of friendship for so long
You can't grasp the concept correctly anymore

You have to remember, my friend,
That sometimes
People are simply happy to see you,
And it seems as if
You've never met real people before

I make you laugh, you say,
I'm exaggerative and expressive,
And you call me pathetic
When I can't open a door

I tell you, you're strange,
But I say, "never change,"
And this will confuse you,
Because you say others use you,
And they'll accuse you
Of refusing to be normal

You'll say you've never told anyone before
Before I came knocking on your door
Coaxing you to be honest
Telling you that you're flawless,

This is because, dear friend,
You've never met real people before

Standing in new day
I  partake in a ceremony.
With no lawyers fees,
just my own valuable wisdom.
No distance to travel
but within heart.
No insecurities just my awakened state.

I stand in the proceeding of a
divorce in day
where air is crisp and snow graces mountain.
Where moments of endless possibilities linger
inside love.

Divorced I shall be
from old negative fear based entrapments
that beat me up constantly
to a new freedom.

I in breath
hear-by pronounce my divorced

I in thoughts
 hear-by re-married
to my soul a part of Gods light,
and all its greatness.

And try to light em underneath an ocean's worth of crude oil
That is forcing it's way into my lungs
My high hopes hung their heads in the past as they waited to be hanged

But now the concept of life felt empty and displayed itself as a delay
A casual lack of oxygen shut off all process in the brain

And we are on our way.

I was just a lost boy in a world with villains and no faces
Looking at the broken concept of why I go through these phases,
But I didn't come undone.
But I didn't come undone.
**** talkers trying to rob me of my power and my dignity,
Until you came along I was a boy without the clarity,
But I didn't come undone.
But I didn't come undone.

Crystal kingdom carry me home to place I would not see the war
Unfold.
I won't hesitate to notice that the light that calls make my body
Cold.
She could make it right when everything goes wrong that's what
He told me.
I always have to think the worst but I didn't think that I'd end up lonely.

Everything that glitters ain't gold,
Just as long as you keep your soul,
I have no problems proving to you I'm whole,
But in a way as you can see I'm fairly old,
I love this felling that she's giving to me, truth be told,
There's mistaking that the kisses don't get sold,
And I know your Worth woman,
Non like on this earth woman,

I was just a lost boy in a world with villains and no faces
Looking at the broken concept of why I go through these phases,
But I didn't come undone.
But I didn't come undone.

It seems like i'm walking in circles,
whenever I  think about life.

"Live life to the fullest" they said.
"You only live once" they said.
I could not understand.

I did not understand,
what they were telling me,
what my parents were telling me,
until the moment came,
and they were gone.

Now, I had realized,
what they were saying:
Enjoy the company of your loved ones,
while the'yre inching to the thousand suns.

Be grateful for everything and everyone
for there is no time to hate and be alone.

There is no time to dwell on regrets,
the "should've's" and "would've's."

Concentrate on the "what now?" and "where to?"
on this Earth which you call home,
on this Earth where everything seems like an illusion.

For you will never know the end
until you've lost everything.
You will never know the end
until you've tried your best and gained nothing.

Whenever I  think about life,
It seems like i'm walking in circles.
