your cherry lip gloss packs a punch.
i never wanted to sober up
from that punch drunk lust.
prom night while i lie on my left side
i hear tinnitus flirting with my right ear
she breathes into me heavily
the memory that you've been here and
i'll never feel pain like that again.
so i'll bite into my own lip until i come to understand
that wet metallic sensation
and the throbbing skin that
is passion.

flickering was the night
you were fast asleep
and in my eyes you
might have died.

your breathing slowed
and your worried eyes
you looked so calm
around us the night's alive.

when we drift into
some slipping place
I look at you with
your saving grace

we depart to sleep
nestled arm in arm
waking in a world of vision
and a field of green.
I focus on the notions of 'cherry'.

Blossoms fall from air
Each one a dying sunrise
Is the world ending?
Let's just say it's an acquired taste.

Cherry blossoms bloom
While the petals of time fly
They’re drifting on by
Well, technically these should be unrhymed lines but I’m exercising my poetic license today. I'm probably breaking all sorts of other rules in the process.
Fear is the speculum that keeps your jaws open,
while the cherries roll down your throat.
She's an angel,she's a fairy.
Her cheeks are soft, lips like cherry.

She's very charming, she's very funny.
She's very sweet like a jar full of honey.

Was blessed to talk with her for a second or so.
Her messages always made my face to glow.

I'm sorry for all wrong i did with you.
Now let's be friends, we'll start a fresh new.

yesterday with you in
March, the cherry
blossoms - please
don't miss the little
flowers in your
search for a more
giving thing because
my sweetest love,
there is none. only
the children know
this, but I think
we are all children
after the rain.

you are leathered with residue
decaying the rust off your skin
with our initials crawling into
alabaster sheets that all I have really
felt while staring out at the streets
we're people fading by egotistical
lack of self confidence
even though I admit using
seducing strategies
possibly disgusted by my own
emotions
that I am placing ******
thrills on my own configuration
because it's humid and blatant
unkowling breathing ruthless sentiments
of our holy communion

I am splitting into a holy sin
drenched in blissful wartime rations
of water or passion
your cotton skin and these sheets
bold statements between white teeth
it’s all a fading mystery
you said I’m something childlike
your hands are stained cherry
and even if they were around my neck
I’d whisper your name like a vesper
simply waiting
for the day to come where it all fades
because you refuse to be a
young god
no matter how it seems to be
to me in all of my naivety
