So the christmas seasons here
i'm told its filled with cheer
but not a smile will show on my face
because you disappeared

WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!
The Wolf is here,

WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!
This our cheer!

WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!
And this our year!

WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!
WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!

If Lykaon was here today,
to see this game, watch us play,
He'd tell the Moon;

Light the way!

N.C. State is going to play!

WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!
This our year,

WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!
And our cheer,

WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!
Make them hear,

WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!
WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!

Raised by wolves,
          as they were,
Game of the sun,
          and we're sure,
Helmets strapped,
          minds are steeled,
N.C. State is on the field.

At the end they'll surely say;

Only one team came here to play!

WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!
The Wolf is here,

WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!
This our cheer!

WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!
And this our year!

WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!
WOLF! WOLF! WOLF!

The lights all up around me
They dance and flicker
Swirling up and down each tree
As the music gets quicker
What a colorful holiday
Something new around each bend
We climb into Santa’s sleigh
And begin to ascend
The clouds fall below us
As we are launched into the sky
The turns we took were brusque
But the heavens never felt so nigh…
...
...
I cover you with a quilt
For the sleigh keeps climbing higher
Towards your hometown we tilt
I wonder, what will transpire?
There’s something big in the back
Is it full of coal?
Perhaps there’s something else in that sack
A doll, a plane, a little toy troll?
Perhaps we will find out
Your hometown draws near
Rudolf raises his red snout
Followed by the rest of the reindeer…
...
...
They shift their gaze
Towards a landing strip
People down there in a craze
We must look like a spaceship
They angle their flight
Right down the middle
It is quite the sight
And the thrill makes us giggle
What’s going on down below?
I ask Santa sitting up front
“I don’t really know”
He says as a reindeer grunts
“They must be waiting for you
Down there, to see what took place
For you came back with her,
That’s not exactly commonplace”
I look back at you, and you meet my gaze
Together we’ll get through
Of that I have no doubt
The sleigh is landing now
There is no backing out…
...
...
Santa pulls up on the reins
On the landing strip the sleigh glides
Only stepping out remains
As we do, the crowd divides
There in the middle
Surrounded by curious people
Stands a man with thumbs he twiddles
He looks more nervous than you or I
I grab your hand and look back again
This is it, we feel suddenly shy
Now’s not the time, so confidence we feign
We look forward and meet his eye
He looks at us and gives a sigh
“Dad?” you say
You look back at me, with display
Introductions are made
Feelings are conveyed
We no longer stand in a masquerade
Everything is out
The closet has swung open
We have nothing left to hide
You squeeze my hand
I coincide
As we look to your dad and wait

He looks at you with love
Then he looks at me squarely
Before he can say a word
Santa breaks in and shouts “let’s all be merry!”
The crowd breaks into laughter
As Santa sates the air with a magic
And joy fills everyone’s thoughts
Your father looks at us again
This time, with a smile, he simply nods
Story written over a few days to my girl, yeah I'm that far behind in posting what I write O.O

Will I find myself in utter peace,
for painful pleasure is all that the world has to offer me.
A constant battle, a dreadful ending;
remind me of Your love everlasting.

A sunny Sunday morning,

A lovely time of year,

As winter's cold it fades aware,

Replaced by Spring's new cheer
K Balachandran Feb 2016
A battle ground with limits not marked
full of strife , happiness but an occasional shower,
even if one tries to embellish it with
all of the fluff one can gather,
life is an enchanted land where we chase a myth,
that changes it's rules without any prior notice,
queer too, it punishes one with rewards, sometimes!

But at this moment I forget all that,
find no reason to harp on that, just forget

such lovely, clear blue eyes
eager to get lost in to mine!
even without batting an eyelid,
for a long while,is nothing but rapture, pure!

A moment, hand crafted by love, a magical spell,
spills over, makes one feel a  superman in real world
so let's strive to create a dream boat, for blithe lovers
a raft of love to voyage across the ocean called life.

I'd collect such moments, immortal, pearl like, we gift to us
make a chain, to adorn you my queen, in your honor.

I've come to realize that when you are feeling down, no one cares.

The only thing that is said is: "Cheer the hell up!"

But I've also come to realize that when you are feeling happy,

No one cares.

And to think I "cheered the hell up" for nothing.
I can't please ya for anything.
Though your day is dark and troubling
Though your hours are filled with fear
Walk boldly into the fire
Always remember I am here

Hambone, slam bone
Kick them in the nuts.
Smack them, sack them
No ifs ands or buts.
Tap them, zap them
Punch them in the snouts
Jounce them, bounce them
Throw the ******* out.

Some of what we’re suffering
Has gone on for a century.
Some of it is politics
Most of it’s chicanery.
Some of it is current stuff
Aided by the internet
And some of it is old news
We just haven’t heard it yet.

Hambone, slam bone
Kick them in the nuts.
Smack them, sack them
No ifs ands or buts.
Sic them, nick them
Stick them with the bill.
Beat them, cheat them
Set up for the ****.

It’s a game of who screws who
And who does not get caught.
It has to do with bribery
And which guy can be bought.
They set it up so no one wins
Unless they play the game
And when the public catches wise
They change some of the names.

Tap them, zap them
Punch them in the snouts
Jounce them, bounce them
Throw the ******* out.
Snip them, whip them
Treat them all like dogs.
Crunch them, punch them
Throw them to the hogs.

They depend on all of us
To be lazy to the bone
And when it comes to statesmanship
To leave them all alone
And not make them live up to
What they were elected for.
The blame is on our backs again
If we choose to ignore.

Hambone, slam bone
Kick them in the nuts.
Smack them, sack them
No ifs ands or buts.
Tap them, zap them
Punch them in the snouts
Jounce them, bounce them
Throw the ******* out.
