Bloomed upon a star!
The setting sun sliding far
into the twilight pool
captured the picture!

Eye on the bumblebee!
That was first to bask in the sun
thinking that it dove to the length
into the shades of the midday rose.
There it's silhouette gets caught
is half-lit on the bank
of the milky way brook.

Shades of blue put
in the mix an inky shadow.
Oh, what’s in an unseen hue?
The sprawling black night puts
a veil on the day on every eyeball.
Guess what it’s anyone's guess!
Even the leading light of the day
the sun shuffles an acre of the night
blindfolded down the full moon!
I need you to understand that it is okay to have a soul that is both tender and tired. I need you to understand that it is okay to be gentle with yourself, that is okay to feel what you are feeling. I need you to know that it is okay to not be okay, that it is okay to feel sad even if you do not fully understand it. I need you to know that you are the product of what is both hopeful and haunted within you, and it is okay to exist in this world as someone who is simply figuring out how to balance that.

Because this is what they don’t tell you — being a human is a confusing and messy thing. Life will amaze you in the most stunning ways, and it will also break your heart. Life will gift you the kinds of lessons that grow you and build you and help for you to bloom into the person you have always hoped to be, but it will also carry within it the kinds of losses that stay with you, that change you and mould you in uncomfortable ways. Life will demand for you to heal even when it hurts. For you to be brave, for you to fight for yourself.
Because at the end of the day, bravery isn’t a battlefield. It isn’t fast cars, or stunted risk. Bravery is the quietest thing you will ever know. Bravery is getting up in the morning when your bones are heavy and your heart does not want the light to crack within it. Bravery is being gentle with yourself, especially when it isn’t convenient or easy, especially when you are not a shining example of the person you strive to be.

But most of all, bravery is the way you stretch towards the light. It is the way you bloom in the direction of goodness, even when you may not know what you are reaching for. Bravery is allowing yourself to believe that you are growing, even when it does not feel like it. Bravery is knowing that there is more for you, that you will save yourself like you always have before; that you will survive.

Someday, my darling, I will bloom a ravishing bloom. Butterflies shall hold astound as my lavish colors wander dull skies. Fireflies will stand in awe as my luster illuminates the nights. Bees shall not discern me beside the rest of the blossom. I will bloom heavenly.
Dark shadows enfold
my heart that
I gave you to hold.

Every time you walk past,
without even an hello,
Omni, I get so cold as if my
soul will freeze then fold

Your being completed me,
so tell me Omni, how is it that your strong and bold when my being has disappeared, from what
your eye's use to behold.

I'm as a withered plant,
without your sun I'm done.
The end of my species,
never to see the sun.

Oh but when you did grace me not too long ago to bloom,
I was the most beautiful in the room!
*
Thank you for that.

A metaphoric piece written for a kindred soul, a poet here by the name of @Omni. A fond kindness that I have developed for this poet as if we were souls that have once met and I'll never meet him in this lifetime.

Flowers share their golden bloom
I know everything'll be okay
And they'll get rid of all my gloom

I sing songs inside of my tomb
"You have to stay in there," they say
Flowers share their golden bloom

I already know about my certain doom
The skies turn a brilliant gray
And they'll get rid of all my gloom

I can't sleep in this bedroom
I think thoughtfully about today
Flowers share their golden bloom

Soldiers share a final legume
Bombs fly in a beautiful array
And they'll get rid of all my gloom

Blood splatters, a red abloom
This would be further known as D-Day
Flowers share their golden bloom
And they'll get rid of all my gloom
A tribute to D-Day. I am aware that it happened months ago.

Golden.
It crawls.
Overflowing the ***
through the railing’s gaps.
A single bud is born -
Clinging to its sheath-like leaves
as viridian fingers reach for the sun.
The day bleeds to night as stars shift.
Buds bursting from the vine, exploding in vibrant colour.
Reds, oranges, yellows, greens, azure, violet and indigo dresses pirouette;
Soaking up the elements surrounded by Lepidoptera fluttering on the breeze

A bloom on the hedge,
Wants me to stop, but I left;

I stay up
Late at night
My head keeps spinning
Let me hear the rain
It’s the season
Sweaters exist for good reason

Islands in the clouds
Calm waters all around me
And if I’m gone
You should know
I’ve searched for something better

I dig into my brain
I forget all of my pain
Even if its just for a second
Call me by my name
And I’ll run out to you
No matter the situation

Tell me that you’re alright
Let that flower bloom
That’s its purpose to the world
Too many variations
Of the same kryptonite
Keep me from traveling
At the speed of light

I keep my loyalty
Walk me to the city
Lights shine so bright
I guess it’s alright
I can hardly see at night
So I guess I’ll kick it here
Til the sun shines so bright
