Silence obliterates the mind
Frees those trapped inside
Sing a little tune
Fly me to the moon
Kidnapping the demons isn't a crime

Aimed expressions of love or hate
Feelings mutual or not are still great
Don't say my name
This isn't a game
I learned the rules a little too late

Time after time again I fail
Missing the hammer with a nail
Yet I cannot cry
And I will not die
I still have to tell my fearsome tale

Starting with rage, ending with peace
It's not a long story in the least
I learned a way
To live through the pain
And hide the mind of my inner beast

Now, I know that it's every person you meet who decides what beast you become.

The battle is upon us
We can finally put ourselves to the test
Memories of the past still haunt us
We fight for freedom so that our minds can rest
Easy knowing that we took a stand
Against twisted beasts of human form
I hold my blade in a trembling hand
I'm ready to weather this mighty storm

I thought i was a man ready to protect
but now i can't even stand *****,
watching my team mates feet and necks
be crushed by these mountains of dreck.
I have't even started combat but i am seeing the light
now here one comes what is the point of putting up a fight?

Most of us won't see tomorrow
Why is Armin so frightened?
Is he just going to stand there
And get eaten by a titan?
I need to protect him
He's one of the last things I've got
And I can't let a monster dissect him
My targets locked
I'm going in for the nape
This wretched creature
Will never escape

Without being able to solve this place's puzzle
I will my life will end by being guzzled
By a ******* belligerent beast
Only looking for its next feast
How could we have a king when these monstrosities rule this domain
Our society might all as well burst like there's a flame over propane
It is a fitting end for this monarch's curious servent
being killed by the real king for being too observant
Hey I am a king too I guess... of cowards, my friend's blood is my moat
And their pieces of the mangled bodies will be my mink coat
Now I am slipping down this demons throat, it doesn't matter who I am
***** this... Wait what is this grabbing my hand?

I won't let him go
What lies beyond these walls?
We've always wanted to know.
How could he surrender to fear?
The look in his eyes
We can't die here.
I'll trade my life to keep his going
As I slip into the belly of the beast
My sense of urgency is growing
All I see are the bodies of comrades who have tasted defeat
The light is fading
Why is existence so bleak?

Am I The Beauty In Your Eyes
Or
The Beast Beneath Your Lies
I Had Your Name Tatted On My Heart
But We Have Seemed To Fall Apart.
The Night Has Come But The Light Shall Prevail.
This Time I Refuse To Let Myself Fail.
The Beauty Of A Princess,
The Strength Of A Beast.

This is only our second encounter
but all hesitation is gone from your actions
I walked into the lair of a merciless monster
igniting a domino of reactions
my cheeks flushed as I'm held by this beast
that I find myself pinned underneath
hot breath pours out on my neck
as my ears are grazed by your teeth
my heart pounds against your chest
your hands roughly comb through my hair
I squirm, submerged in your arms
continually gasping for air
your mouth desperately searching for mine
I finally succumb to your kiss
the problem with a fatal attractions,
is deciphering what's hell and what's bliss

Its eyes were red with rage.
Water dripped from the cage.
Locked inside with nowhere to hide.
The monster was centre stage.

Its claws as sharp as razors.
captors were armed with tazers
Then came the silence followed by violence.
This monster was quicker than lasers.

Those who were left stood frozen with fright as the monster ran off into the night.

The leaves we're burning bright
Like thunder.

Open the belly of the beast,
From under her patient paws
Uncertain

Lost in a thought,
Lost in motion.
To speak out sound
That's left unspoken.

I found a light
To keep me grounded.
Forever keeping me safe,
Sure, and certain
For there was a tinge of a
man uncertain
Lost and confused
And easily amused

By preying
On those who are weaker.

He knocked on our door,
We invited him in with kindness
He saw nothing,
but hates blindness.

I felt you sneaking,
Tweaking in.
No longer I call you friend.

Why turn on the light illuminate the beast that's here?
Who stirs beyond the softness of the focus so unclear...
Condensing on the hairs sprung straight from necks the breath so near
And if i light it, we ignite it, I haven't ways to fight it, giving sight to insurmountable fear

Eyes of the beast,
piercing through the soul of everything that exist.
Crystal Erickson Dec 2014
From the darkened depths of the shadows she rises,
swift as the wind flame bright.
Proud as a hawk embracing the moonlight,
glittering on her graceful form.
A creature of great mystery and majesty.
Beautiful, noble, valiant, and deadly.
Her silver voice can lure men to their doom.
Her brightly shining claws rend flesh and bone.
The same sculpted teeth that grace her smile,
Have charmed beasts into becoming her meal.
Even her eyes so full of lovely wisdom,
are a mesmerizing and enchanting trap.
Beware the perilous beauty of the dragon,
and even as you do ....surrender to it.
