You can try to make us less soft, less open, less fiery…
But you are the ones who are frozen -
The ones who won’t make the diary,
When everything you claim to be right is distorted and stolen…
You can’t stop us from flying towards the light
and glowing green and golden…

So best just leave us be… you’re the wanderers of this gallery and we’re the centrepiece…
Having travelled many galaxies to see you differently,
You still look at us with one colouring, through one sheen -

But it’s time to evolve or flee…
Our wings shield your swords and shine a light but only for those who want to see -

And those who want to see have wings like me,
And we hold each other carefully…
When our eyes meet - catching our dual infinity…
Our endless vision reminding us that within our dual lucency, we belong to many cosmic seas…
We’re nothing but skeletons through safety nets -
Fingers clicking new time sets,
Carcasses savouring the darkness
Lipsticks by cigarettes following the dim lit spec
Of no ground beneath us, wanderers foetusless
Figuring the freckles from the sun to our mess -

Caskets of breath, holding up heads
Hangers and railings, waiting for the horse sense sect...

Arrows through archways, glass light through windows
Pink blood smelling phoenix potent
Broken street slabs, bruised zinc honing
Wailing, awoken, wasting, frozen
Bent not broken– darker, sharper

Pieces of our star creature
Learning to walk quicker
Into the other whirl where we were hurled from...

No longer held off,
Dragons and sky gods
fending the ether -
Furious feathers float into glowing oceans that camber...
to the man donned in black
to the woman with no spine
and a broken back
you work in slumber
with eyes unopened
to life's beauty
you have only spoken
brief talks betwixt dreams
stiffened, when awoken
of thoughts that linger a ways away
in a land of virtue
reminiscent of tolkien

At dusk
My eyelids fell
Leaving me
Curious

In no time
My eyes had to wander
So up went my lids
Shocked

Just a second passed
I took a look around
The stormy wind blew
Distressed

A moment later
I saw the world tilt
I flew onto the deck
Confused

I was a second too late
As the water soaked my lungs
Salty ocean blades
Overwhelming

As hours went by
I flailed amidst the sea
Blue in the face
Terrified

By dawn, I saw
life, within a wreath
Swimming around an island
Relieved

It could have been days
As I trudged to land
Finally, I reached salvation
Desperately

Then time stopped
And my eyes flew back open
Revealing my room
Awoken

that Knowing came today
  in a casket it lay
a thing revealed   i say
that which lived now dead
the mystery of mysteries
whirling upon my head;
once to live
once to die
and many more hidden
within my rye!

i think i was made, already broken
know every word that goes unspoken
keep it inside like holding the smoke in
choke on the words, and you'll be awoken
Interpret it for yourself as you please >>> written below is my perspective
"choking on the words" references to choking on smoke/coughing, meaning slipping up and unintentionally revealing true feelings
"you'll be awoken" is meant to mean 'you'll become aware of the truth' which is supposed to remain undesired out of fear they will leave

Surrounded by impeccable noise
This was nothing but my choice
Goodness gracious
I lost my voice
So anxious I can't breath
I think it's from Ms. Melody
How beautifully she's made
You flew to her aid
My heart has been awoken
Living to be broken
Needing be free
It'll never be me
