I don't write love poems anymore;
I sleep until noon and eat *** cakes for breakfast

I don't sing love songs anymore;
I cut off all my hair and dyed it a color he told me never to do

I don't read love stories anymore;
I pierced my nose and ate mushrooms underneith the stars

I don't write love notes anymore;
I read my books at diners in the middle of the night and paint just because I can

I live with tenacity and I haven't had a regret since I left

I'm glad I don't write love poems anymore

LIfe is but a dream

Be it beautiful, be it fun.
One must wake up to see the sun.

Unseen, clueless of what will fall upon thee...

Be it nightmare, be it sad.
Worry not, this too soon shall end.

Slowly, one must overcome fear, bitterness and envy...

Always, there'll be lucid dreaming.
Where you can change your ending.

Sharpen your sensation
For life is but a dream*...

Dangerous pursuits of the heart
Through the rough terrains
Life’s edges are exhilarating
Hanging from the faint hope
Breathtaking view of the uncertainties
Never a boring moment
Life that comes with exciting moments
In the pursuit, one may find treasures
Away from the humdrum
There may be fewer travelers
Dangerous pursuits are for the valiant hearts

Who would have known that such a strong friendship could start with a pile of books and a pair of crutches?
Strangers at first but sisters next
When sadness strikes my feeble heart she's there to patch it right up
We have had many adventures together which include but are not limited too
Breaking plungers, making forts, watching anime, bothering people, TREPCHMM (one of the many inside jokes), and most importantly failing at life together
A girl who can create the most beautiful things and cure the saddest of hearts
She'll stun you with her beauty and her immense knowledge
The only sad part about our friendship is
She refuses to read this
To one of the closest friends I have, Elise. Her name on here is marionette and I hope you will take a look at her collection of poetry.

He was a drug addict, they would tell me
He was "malo," they would say
Until a policeman lost his patience
beat him
so bad that he was in the hospital for months
And never walked again
"He had it coming" was the way they'd end the story

But as I visited with him
I discovered more

He read through the entire Bible while he was getting treatment
His spirit changed
And when he was well enough to leave the hospital bed he was taken home just to be laid down again, yet I suppose that
Sometimes he had a wheelchair

He had a job
wheeled himself across miles of dirt road to get there
people would come in, greeting and asking him, "che, como andas?" which is Argentino for "dude, how are you doing?" but a closer translation would be, "dude, how are you walking (or going)?" he would always smile from his chair and say jokingly, "i don't go, i sit."

He was married and had a little boy, Alejandrito (which means little Alexander)

And i would watch him and his family
in their little tin house patched with plywood
His wife loved him; she met him after his accident
and she was never cross about doing everything for him
they had nothing
yet enjoyed everything their poverty had to offer

my favorite phrase he ever said was:
"if your problems have solutions, why worry? and if your problems don't have solutions, why worry?"
This is a poem about a man I knew in Argentina. He is one of my greatest examples.

What is a friend?
A relationship with one that that would eventually come to an end.
No matter how tight the bond brew,
how high we reached to.
The illusion of fellowship would soon fade like a flu.

What is a friendship?
A connection with one that would eventually collapse like an old battleship.
No matter how many promises were made,
how many times I came to your aid.
The hurt of betrayal would last as a stab by a blade.

Who am I?
A baby once believed that friends cannot be buy (bought).
A child once thought that friendships would never die.
A boy once dreamed that the wine of brotherhood would never run dry.
A man now stares at the sky, grieve and wonder why....

That one day we have to say goodbye,
to those who we called friends just as a lie,
and look forward then move toward onto our adventures of life.
To a brother that has been with my side for 3 years in my life. Nothing much happened, we simply parted away onto our own different paths of life. Perhaps one day our paths will cross again or one of us has decided to retrieve what has been loss.

Let's set out together
Explore the breeze
We'll walk hand in hand
Beneath the trees
In no particular direction
No direction we need
These adventures of the unknown
Leave us freed

Take me to the place
with streets of gold
and flowing green pastures
where there's no lack of sunshine
even when it's raining
and I can eat with my favorite people
whom were long gone before me
I can spend my days writing
about whatever thought fills my mind
I'll go on far out adventures
maybe to the moon
or atleast to the stars
I'll climb a tree and read a book
It'll be a living fairytale
There'll be lots of swing dancing & Frank Sinatra in this world
With a wonderful fill of Audrey Hepburn & Alfred Hitchcock movies
I can see a drive in theater in the distance
Along with a cute little diner
And a Polaroid camera
To capture my fantasy
And keep it locked away

With all the world in constant motion,
And new adventures to be embarked,
Take your time and enjoy the moment,
Breathe deep and then depart.

When the waves of emotion make you anxious,
Strong like turbulent winds among a stormy sea,
Finding safe passage to calmer waters
Sometimes takes determination, resilience and bravery.
Lost a bet so had to write a poem for a friend, he was going through some things so thought I'd quickly write something uplifting for him.

I sailed you out.

In my rickety boat.

To the center of my lake:
the deepest, darkest waters.

And there,
I let you dive
into my silent depths.

Sinking into the unknowns,
while I awaited your return.
