i remember you once told me

i shouldn't allow fear to

control me because i

could lose that chance and

opportunity with someone.

and i lost that chance and opportunity

with you

We all paint our lives.
The mountains of challenges,
The rivers of tears,
The waterfalls of joy.

We mix the colours of sorrow and laughter
And add the colours of experience and the years that passed.
The souls we will always remember
And the moments we will never forget.
i was once a piece
of beautiful paper,
cut into a heart-shape,
colored with red and
neatly placed at the left
side of my chest.

and then you came
with your heart on fire,
i am enchanted by your warmth
that i let you embrace me.
but i never thought that your fire,
would burn me down.

i was once a piece
of beautiful paper.
but now,
i am no more than
a piece of small gray particles,
ashes,
forgotten ashes
scattered by the wind

never to be found

Shades of Me

There are shades of me and shades of you
As there are shades of red and shades of blue
Some shades ugly, some shades true
But I'll let you paint on me shades of you
If you do too
Indeed, we'll be
The most beautiful shade of purple
The world will ever see.

Synchronicity

She caught a glimpse of him,
her senses paused
Her heart starting beating so loud,
it muted the world.
Those visions, recollections, dreams, flashes and sudden insights both overwhelm and confuse me.
All we ever do is exchange glances,
like only we can see each other in crowds and masses.
Like the sun, the moon and the stars, you and I are lost in the bizarre. (Inspired by a dream I had)

"Why do you only wanna talk about the problems with public school and suicide?"

Because the blood in the restroom stall,
And the ghosts that walk the halls,
Are only increasing in numbers.

It broke my mind
Into ragged bits
When I realized
These little moments
Aren't so little

Call

Call me

Not by my name

But by the memories we made

The feelings we enslaved

And the songs that we played

Just call me

Not tomorrow

Or next week

But call me today
