The spring in your steps
And the spring in nature
Playing a match
That let me have a catch
Of a bit of happiness
In all my loneliness

In all my loneliness
This weather makes me
Light as a feather
Dreaming of us together*

Dreaming of us together
In a fairyland
We claim as ours
Where a vast meadow
Filled with flowers
Dancing as the wind blows

Dancing as the wind blows
Taking away my woes
Sun rays kissing our skin
Let the light shine upon us
After reading her poem about cherry blossoms and the brilliant imagery, I was awestruck.

Today I got the opportunity to work with one of the gifted young poets of Hello Poetry, Blythe (I love her description, 'princess in pink'. An imaginative and fairytale look at the life).

Unsurprisingly, she carried the spirit of one of my better poems in a brilliant way and lifted it a notch.

I thank Her Royal Highness Blythe for this wonderful collaboration ;-)

Sometimes feelings don’t translate to words.
Sometimes they can only manage to translate to silence.

And sometimes the best thing you can hope for is having someone to understand the poetry of your quietness.

When it comes to the point where you pick on others for no reason,
My friend,
You have a problem.
When you find  that you don't laugh unless someone is  hurt,
My friend,
You have a problem.
When you can't be funny unless you're making fun of people,
My friend,
You have a problem.
When the only time you feel good about yourself is when  you  bring someone else down,
My friend,
You have a problem.
Stop bullying.

(How Do I Write Of Thee?)

I always asked myself then:
"How do i write of thee?"
...how do I start?
...where do I start?
i am an expert on being mum,
but, i must write of thee,
and I do...the way i know---
simple-worded thoughts
coming straight from my heart...
honest, innocent lines,
bare...unaffected,
no false pretenses
not much metaphors
at times, none at all...
maybe, none is needed,
i just want to reach out,
a message, i want to impart.

"What would i write of thee?"
i equally wondered...
didn't know then how to hide behind words
to mean "i," or "me," by saying "you,"
to show "happy" in words,
when the truth is bright and tasseled with "pain,"
but, i had to start........and so, i learned
to write of thoughts i am most familiar with,
they are like second skin to me,
i write about the beauty of nature
that surrounds and comforts  me,
i write of sleepless nights,
of distances not bridged,
existing and failed expectations,
hanging conversations
dwelling within...safely cradled.

Deep, in the hidden corners of my mind
are thoughts very, very private,
some written...
some, yet to be written,
all unspoken of.
they are gentle whispers,
soothing,
unequaled moments,
sweet, sweet words,
a balm to my aching soul.

One day,
when i am too old to care,
these journals would be beyond my hold
and find their own way out,
to be shared...absorbed...understood
in a whole new different perspective,
these words shall be
i m m o r t a l i z e d
when i close my eyes for good.
people shall read about me,
and finally will know
that once,
in my lifetime,
I had written
My One Immortal Poem.

It was us against the world
Now and for forever
You had my back
And I had yours
How could you just throw it away
Like you didn't even care
I thought we had something
I guess I was wrong
You broke me
Then left me to pick up the pieces

A life without love
Is like an ocean without fish
A garden without flowers
A sound without noise

A life without love
Is a morning without coffee
A smile without joy
A word without letters

A life without love
Is a life without you
And the life I am living

a relationship is for two but when another gets involved,
that's not what causes the impairment and pain.
what hurts is knowing you weren't enough to sustain.
what hurts is seeing them smile even in the face of their ***** deeds.
what hurts is realizing how naive you were,
succumbing to tears conveying false remorse.
what hurts is not knowing whether or not it was even real.
what hurts is realizing that what you cherished and loved is no longer yours
...for their lips,
are now stained with sins
and their heart,
now unsecured and ready for another.

what doesn't hurt,
is knowing that even though
not with you,
they've found *happiness.

I will not cry
repeat
I will not die
assure
Over and over
Till my heart misses a beat
And all I have held so dear
Year after year
Now falls apart with every
single tear

The Breaking of A Tender Loving Heart
 Feb 2015
Dhaye Margaux
You told me that I'm a glass bird
I brought shining rays to your place
Like you see me as your light,  my love
I am a glass bird to fill your space

You told me I'm that glass bird
With that I know you'll take care of me
Because once that I am broken
There's no more smile that you can see

You told me that I am worth the wait
Your love is deep and real
No test can weaken the strength in you
To fight for what you feel

You told me I am your flower
And that I give the scent you love
For you I am your angel,  too
A gift sent from up above

You told me every little thing
With that I fell in love again
With the same man who wrote me songs
The reason why I hold this pen

You told me how much you love me
And I thank God for this gift
You told me to have faith,  not fear
No storm could make us adrift
Forever love...  <3<3<3

If walls could talk, these words you'll hear
'I love you so much, forever, my dear
We shall not cease, we shall not fear
We shall not give each heart a tear'

Oh, if walls could talk, we won't be hurt
If only we're not this oceans apart
An entry to a challenge to make a poem with the phrase "If Walls Could Talk".
