The crux of tomorrow
Remains at stake
Through languid eyes
And double takes.

Hey, old friend
Remember the days?
The times we got so drunk we could barely crawl
What a laugh!
Other nights we'd be so wired
We chewed our lips to shreds
And do you remember that opiated Nepalese
While the rest were throwing up or falling down
We kept right on smoking
'Til we could barely find our feet
Haha!
And then tripping out at Fool's Nook
Thinking the water in the stream was diamonds
The mushrooms weren't so magic if you got a bad one
But wasn't it fun!
Going to dodgy Manchester pubs for the gear
Haha, remember that night I nearly got myself shot?
I've never talked so fast in all my life
And now that we're middle-aged
Where are we now, old friend?
You're dead and I'm falling to bits
Such fun

the ghosts of
my past?

and when we got too close,

did they haunt you,
too?

Find what you love,
and **** it.

Before it kills
you.

If you ain't that viscous, you ain't ambitious.

Star Gazer
I avert his gaze
his hand sliding up my thighs
as my voice muffles.

I let out a scream
silence is all I could hear
as I see his eyes.

His eyes pierce my soul
tainting that one part of me
that felt always clean.

I took a shower
I took a hundred showers
but it still lingered.

It will be ten years
it will be twenty full years
but I felt empty.
My bad habits strike again
your strong charm pulls me in
whilst you begin to lure me in, I'm never going to win.
quickly my mind is filled with only you
what can I do?
your wrongings always seem right,
I can no longer fight.
I'm stuck in a hypnotic spell,
can you not tell?
can you not see, I'm no longer sane for your own gain..
this isn't a game.
I'm no tool, but I'm definitely a fool.
you eventually break me with your demonic heart,
where I'm forced to make a new start
as you leave back to hell, but I still hope
you are doing well.
even while there's a hole in my soul,
you're too busy finding your next victim.
your devilish laughter, I can still hear and
I can still feel for l will never heal,
but I will still continue to damage myself doing the same mistake,
like a mindless *******.
although you have returned back to hell
Who's really in it?

Regressing into happenstance
I grasped the Rabbit in my hand
One sip I took, upon a chance
Off the edge, into quicksand. . .

Blacking out on your front lawn
On the ground, where you could stand
Can’t remember dusk or dawn,
Sinking fast into quicksand.
Worth continuing?

you
remember when
it was me

you were addicted
to?
That drug's got you
Like I want you.

A
Soft hands
Traced my skin
As I told you
"Pull up your grades, ******* it."

And you replied, sweetly
"Pull up your shirt, ******* it."

Your luscious green eyes
Pouring into mine.
And that was how it was.

My love - your lust.
