A cider and a minder
Passing time as a reminder
Pink glow and songs flow
A waxy time erodes the mow

Renegades and perspiration responds
Swimming in winded seas of  Jordan
Heated in space, evicted in their pace
Libido fails as the liquor dilutes in taste

Catch an esse as the moonlight smite
Hold another to fake a romantic right
Filter to the cards of ace as the one winks
Emotive intruders farm in fields of pastures

Imbued with alcoholic waterfalls
Molehills of termites condense lose soil
A lack of connection a taunt that apes
Future anthems triumph in hungered strums

Amused by the music erupting volcanoes
A morrow blows as the candle slows
To tow the tall grassed disused straw
A spring to summer that promises sun rays

A resolve to moderation to preserve modesty
A kiss stored forever peeping the awing stars
To guard a heart and hatch uniformity
Trembles justly forgotten in termed premises
Friday night people watching in a Jazz / Blues club.

you.

when i was younger my parents
warned  me about the kinds of drugs you could snort
into your system through your gentle little nose,

the kind you drink like alcohol
and the ones you inject straight into your
veins.

but the one thing they forgot to warn me about
were drugs like you.

Make me one with emptiness
Boundless time in timeless space
Patterns in motion thoughts motionless
Empty mind filled with joy and blissfulness
And blissful is the nature of one's mindfulness
Darkness feeds on light
That speckle of warmth and white
that flushes out your blood
And you are left with the warmth of your first kiss
Lying in a pond on a warm summer day while cold rain nips at your skin

So I looked for you in the night
And you were laying on mountains
Trying to soften the shivering ridges

I traveled the world
Looking for a mountain high enough to reach the stars
And I lay atop you
Tossing stars aside
To make wishes come true
While the cool grass tickled at the most sensitive part of my arms and feet
You gently blew my hair
and it whipped around me

I sold my bus pass to a traveler
to find the edges of your lips
And I jumped and bounced into the softness of your skin
I grabbed ahold onto the roots of your hair
And swung myself
Into the sea of stars
A force so strong it knocked the wind out of my lungs
So I took a big breath
And was rewarded with clouds of daisies swimming through the galaxy like me

Ah, my love
You're physical form is no longer with me
but I feel you in everything
I must say, this could use some editing but writing it made me feel a lot less sadness about my boyfriend I lost about a month ago. Please enjoy my words about my loved one and let me know what you think!  I also hope that someone else might find solace here.
Bleached and dying coral
Light before the crash
Brighter than the star
before it disappeared
Skulls of dead animals
littered with bones on the side of the road

I used to see you standing there
Long, white flowing night gown
but I threw it in the ocean
before I let you go

Garlic clove before it hit the pain
Dove, freedom, hope
Death

Doctors and nurses
and the sheets of your
hospital bed

Your face before your heart stopped
and you let me see
that the darkness in white
is all that I can ever be.
Hey darling, hey darling
can't you see?
the world has darkened
since you left
and I can't seem to find
one last speck of light
floating among this galaxy
so take my hand
and lead me there
so i can walk
on fallen stars
with you, hand in hand
