Erian Rose May 2020
We saw a world
bruised and beautiful
The world kept moving forward
constantly in motion
while ours fell apart
Erian Rose May 2020
Under the streetlights
on the corner of 11th
autumn turned into showers
your pupils reflected
seasons becoming racing beats
hours stumbling out of reach
Erian Rose Apr 2020
she wandered the fields
curiosity in her eyes
honeysuckles blooming
welcoming springs arise

her feet skid gentle ground
stumbling over crumpled petals
leaving all but a sound
clouds waving to her surprise

treetops hang under concrete walls
love developing in simple tone
she built her home of bricks and sandy shores
Erian Rose Apr 2020
his fingers fidgeted with the stars
comets flying like racing cars
when he glanced above, all he hoped
to sing a lullaby to the one
he loves the most
Erian Rose Apr 2020
goodnight, to the pounding rain
and tear stained skin
everlasting dreams left paper-thin
Erian Rose Apr 2020
They look up to cotton candy skies,
The stars dancing to lightning bugs, grasping to hold on tight.
Erian Rose Apr 2020
Her heart painted waves
Deeper than her rising flames
