Loneliness has taken over, and I'm out of control
finding myself spiraling downward, it's taking a toll
unbearably stressed out, and looking for an escape
hoping to avoid despair, that upon me it not retake

What happens every day, heavily upon my heart does it weigh
watching people live their lives, but with minds in such disarray
this only serves to confirm my fear, I really live in my own world
surrounded by loneliness, worries around me have now encircled

Unrelenting internal struggles, like strong waves slamming the shore
coping with these new challenges, and my sadness hoping to ignore
creatively developing strategies, thinking confusion of mind to negate
but words of loneliness burdening my heart, was what I had to relate

Searching my mental landscape, seeking to find some emotional rest
even if only a temporary escape, this world makes me feel oppressed
alone to ponder these troubles, sadly, they are all I have to my name
forced to keep this secret, their revelation would only bring me shame

Life will go on without you, forever left with your own world to deal
your dreams are unlike all others, you wait for another heart to feel
hoping to fill your emptiness, just by knowing someone else cared
enabling you to find peace of mind, and never again to be scared

Don't fall into despair, you're not alone being trapped in loneliness
sadness may lead to sin, but right now your pain borders holiness
hold on just a little longer, new days bring new light, try and cope
G-d is coming to your rescue, because in him you never lost hope

You're a prisoner for life, try and plan your escape, free to contrive
but remember the reality, no one ever gets out of this world alive
confusion does not last a lifetime, only our sadness blinds the way
In the end we'll find the happiness we seek, and forever will it stay
a short poem which describes the impact that loneliness can have on us

It requires Great wisdom to acquire this human trait called, Compromise......

The sun rises and the sun sets
a new day comes, yesterday forgets
a loving kiss and warm embrace
two souls joined, face to face

Time passes, feelings change
no longer exits, this warm exchange
further on, and still growing more apart
forgetting all that love, they had from the start

Now although they consider to divorce
thoughts of their children cause them remorse
so they make decisions attempting to find a way
to limit any pain, that their children will be okay

Despite their good intentions, they think they know
but only their children feel the pain that will flow
that day finally arrives, the one you were told
it could never happen, it would never unfold

The stark and painful reality, some adults never see
they give up too easily, and for what, just to let egos be
if they only had the wisdom to open their hearts and be free
to learn this meaning called compromise, and make their love agree

Yes, my friend, you're thinking how you relate to the words of this poem
deep down your know you too are a survivor, and that time has shown
you grew up with that pain, asking yourself what purpose was it all for
the answer is clear, do not let it happen to your own as it did to you before
Life: It comes with it ups, and comes with its down!

A short poem about what most represents being created in G-d's Image;
The Power of Speech

It is almost one of the best kept secrets, I would say
so few know of its power, thinking it to be far far away
but this power of speech, a power which is always passed on
leaves its lasting impressions, even after you are long gone

The world we live in, created with a molecular structure
articulating sound, our speech now meets this juncture
power of speech, although emanating from a thought
impacts on everything around us, and this we wrought

"Think good and it will be good", it's not just a saying
we really don't realize this power, our words are swaying
"think good and you will create good", is what it should be
sound created by our words lives forever, who would foresee

Think about the history of creation, the way the world came into being
G-d said, "Let there be light", having commanded, darkness began fleeing
but focus on the fact of G-d's act in His saying, which comes to inform
this power our Creator used, speech, whose power caused all to conform

So having been created in G-d's image, better to learn while we are young
our heritage as humans, life and death are really in the power of the tongue
the power to build or to destroy, stems from the power of the words we choose
we can perpetuate this light, doing good to all, rather than use it to abuse
The Power of Speech is What Has Given Us Life

This side or the other, time alone is the deciding factor
you may think that you are happy, but you're an actor
no matter how much you change, there's a price to pay
there's just no escape, we all know, the end is a one way

Focus your actions in this world, they define who you really are
you'll ultimately be judged by others, whether you were on par
and even if you don't care, know that it's about right and wrong
if you make the right choices, rejoice, you don't need to belong

Your heart and your mind, yes, these are really one and the same
living on, past the limitations of a physical existence, is only shame
shame for what you could have done differently, why didn't you think
instead choosing those bitter waters, all that remains for you to drink

Learn the value of patience, it will bring happiness to your address
without it, all you can look forward to is disappointment and distress
life is much too precious to waste away, since time is not on our side
discern the higher meaning of life, before taking that final spiritual ride

Our temporal existence, how the pleasures of this world make us forget
just what we could have done while we were here, and this to our regret
yet all is not lost, so long as the candle is still burning, we can still change
we have all been given life as a gift, and our very own destiny to arrange

As desire still has power in us, do not let these opportunities go lost forever
avoid the arrogance, so innate in all of us, this shared attitude of, "whatever"
twilight years are quickly advancing, who knows when they will finally arrive
eternal happiness awaits, just prepare for the journey, and to this alone strive
This world is the doorway to the next, how will you prepare yourself for the journey?

Quick to write with that care
to avoid any excessive flair
ultimately finding words that pair
you think your poem is extraordinaire

With an open laptop lying next to your chair
eyes in the library begin giving you a stare
nevertheless, you seem to pay them no care
off to your posting like your very own prayer

Hardly finished but you can feel it in the air
somethings going on, something rare
fixated on that email button as your hand draws near
your fan club is calling, you've caught their ear

Once again you've been told, with a reader's tear
just what your poem meant to them, it's so very dear
finally arriving to this worthy conclusion alone to bare
what a world of difference have you made, moving others to Care.....

God made every single creature for a reason!

It happened many years ago, an average day at work
when I was employed as nothing more, just a simple clerk
Heaven sent me a lesson, they saw fit that I learn
sent through the smallest of creatures, knowing I would discern

My first instinct was simple, to one all could relate
a desire to crush this cockroach, I could not wait
As I raised my foot, making sure my aim was set
knowing that he'd be finished, with nothing to regret

I was overpowered by a thought, a simple thought to consider
why should this ugly creature, cause me to be bitter?
With great plan and purpose, was this cockroach surely made
but where was born this eagerness to ****, or for me to be afraid?

With great difficulty going against my nature, I did then dare
no more justifications were acceptable to me, for I was now aware
Although small and ugly was my limited perception, I could still care
With this cockroach, nothing would stop me, and would I now spare

Lessons throughout life, does our Creator continually teach
empowering us with free choice, and potential growth that we reach
By contemplating our thoughts, and their true meaning that we may find
a change of heart in our actions, and a true desire to be kind
A short but True Poem (story) I wrote of one of the very great lessons I received from the smallest of creatures

Seeking A True Soul Mate......

The girl of my dreams, who but she could understand
of that deep desire, as a burning fire, for her hand
her hand in friendship, her hand there always to hold
her hand in mine, our souls as one, smelted as with gold

The girl of my dreams, who but she could understand
always to be by her side, never to run and never to hide
a true soul mate, through thick and thin, oath of a bride
with trust and loyalty that only loving souls could abide

The girl of my dreams, who but she could understand
that growing void in my conscience, is but a reflection of my fear
a fear that paralyzes my ability, preventing me to express my care
but you are my healer and rightfully so, to whom my heart calls dear

You girl of my dreams, were created as perfect as can be
given a mission to help me be complete, and to eventually see
your love and warmth, these qualities how they do provide
this ability for me to overcome, my own shallowness resting inside

You my better half, fashioned for me, by whom else but the One above
my life has new meaning, since you choose to share with me your love
know my dear this truth, even if my love for you could be divided in two
nothing would change, for it could never remove all the love I have for you
