"investors" poems
“Being a farmer is like being a priest; you take a vow of poverty and make a pact with the Lord that no typhoon will come and destroy your crops.” In the rise of sedentary human civilization, The nation’s agriculture Became the key expansion. Its history dates back thousands of years, With its development, Has been driven and defined – By different climates, cultures, and technologies. The Filipino farmers: Are they now a dying breed? Numbers of small farms has dwindled, With workers opting for city life. But this trend could exacerbate food insecurity! Yes, in an import-dependent country – Already struggling to meet current food demand. In the face of growing losses, And from volatile weather, To new-fangled farming tech, Limited education makes them less receptive. What took such toll on the agricultural sector? Maybe the farmer themselves, The investors, the buyers – maybe. Now, it’s due to the government policies, Our programs are good, yet so weak. There’s excessive reliance on agricultural imports, And corruption on the upper level. Compounding the problem Is a younger generation – Largely, leaving rural areas nationwide, And depleting the pool of potential agricultural workers. They say it’s too late to do something; But the mind-set of the younger generation Still we can change And make farming appealing once again. (9/8/13 @xirlleelang)

A Dying Filipino Breed
And all your heros are gone, but you refuse to take off the mask. A loudmouth, a capitalist, with greasy hair and a golden toothpick, he is your enemy he is your oppressor and he sits upon a throne of coal and blood with armed security and a nation built for him, to protect him and his money, a police state, pat downs on the corner, murdered in the street, your daughters gotta eat. He grows fatter and fatter still, he loves complacency, he loves contentment, he invests heavily in both. He knows we are strong, he knows we are many, he knows he must divide us to win, he knows we're his greatest weapon, so he created Fox News, he created TMZ, stealthily, we didn't even notice, he created NPR and KVIE, he gave them masks that look like ours. They look poor, they look starved, they look like us, but they have a different master. Our master is the earth, our master is our coworker, our neighbor, our mailman, our dishwashers, our bus drivers, our minimart clerks. Our masters are not the TV, our masters are not the radio, our masters are not the New York Times, they are not National Geographic, they are not BP, they are not our principals, our administrators, our policemen, our CEOs, our investors, our bankers, our insurance providers, these people hate us, they hate us because they can't squeeze blood from a stone, and the rivers are running dry, the factories are standing still, the people, our masters and our friends, they're in the streets, they're shouting "BLACK LIVES MATTER" they're shouting "NO JUSTICE NO PEACE" "NO MORE WAR FOR OIL" **** THE POLICE" "DOWN WITH THE 1%" and soon and soon, The False Gods will grow so fat and we'll have nothing left to eat but them, and on that day we'll sit down to dine and it won't be civilized and it won't be pretty, their blood, our blood, will feed the rivers and their flesh will feed our hungry children and their money will burn and warm our chilled bones but we can't wait, we can't wait for this to happen because everyday they grow stronger, we grow weaker and the river becomes dryer. The Bourgeois is our enemy, they say 'All Lives Matter' they say 'Work Hard and Your Dreams Will Come True' BUT THEY LIE

I have some aches that are not fiction so my doctor wrote a prescription She sent it to the pharmacy near so I can get my mind adhered I went to pick it up today assured that all would be ok The pharmacy tech was really nice but said I had to pay full price It seems as though I was denied my insurance claimed the doctor lied All I wanted was to feel better but now i'm shackled to this fetter I pay my premium; my budget festers while the insurance company pays their investors I guess i'll wait another year insanity comes closer, I fear.

In the Presidential Palace, the steaks are served up seared. There’s an excellent wine cellar for meals expertly prepared. The Palace is cool in summer; in winter it's toasty warm, And Maduro and his spouse are always safe and free from harm. In the streets of Venezuela there is anger and despair. Inflation is the problem but why should Maduro care. The store shelves are nearly empty; most people live in fear There is ****** done in daylight and the sense that chaos nears. This was once a beautiful, Prosperous land, the envy of the South. Then a populist Socialist came to drive investors out. Now a nation, resource rich, has been importing oil, a nation whose own oil reserves are the greatest in the world. His critics?- dead or imprisoned; the media is controlled There’s no term limits on his rule. Voters do as they are told. Demonstrators, even peaceful, can be shot down in the street While Maduro sips his wine and decides what next he’ll have to eat.

The wealthy places so much worth in money. And no faith in self. They acts falsely around others of wealth. That their pretense is exposed. When all their money is gone. Think wealth. They investors. They have no faith in self. The differences between the rich that becomes poor. And the differences between the poor that becomes rich. Is, one knows the suffering more. But, if the poor that became rich lost it all. They would know the ways to continue on. They been poor before. And has confidence in self worth. While the rich one only knows high society. And not recognized when the money's gone. Truth being exposed. Truth being told. Self worth is more important than money. Or even gold.

Self Worth
Nevermind the obvious quirks in my physique— the thick thighs, short legs, t-rex arms, and that ample, curvaceous figure of mine which I own and work every day. *[Listen, I'm certain I could get into the glitter— no doubt I would have a killer stage name— I figure I’d get pretty used to the instant gratification— and there's no doubt in my mind that whatever I lack in grace and *** appeal, I could make up for in charm, wit, and a cuteness that I'm still growing into.]* But see, I have a slight fear of wearing heels. It's safer for everyone if I stick close to the ground. And although swinging around a pole seems like a good time, my motion sickness would probably kick in and I'd ralph hard on at least one of my investors. Aside from the faulty mechanics I'd bring to the profession, I've got my own rationale. I like knowing that when my clothes come off, it's for reasons larger than money. I like knowing that I've left a little to the imagination and can unleash it at my leisure. I like knowing that my secret weapons of mass seduction are, in fact, secrets. I like knowing that I still have something to blush about when I think about how I spent my Saturday night. Nah, I could never be a stripper, but hot **** do I enjoy perfecting the art of smiling while naked.

Health anxiety. You google one thing and it says another. You have a headache and it says its cancer. Countless trips to your family doctor. The test was negative, you will recover. Everything is fine but you’re feeling awkward. Maybe everything IS fine, perhaps you’re like an actor. Acting out the symptoms you should get an oscar. Sue me for feeling like somethings not right, get me a lawyer. To everyone around me, i’m like a destroyer. I need to rebuild my life from being an over reactor. Theres a fine line between normal worry and anxiety. Theres a fine line between being labelled from society. Theres a fine line between being sick and being healthy. But even those who are wealthy are not protected from being unhealthy. And thats where this fear has developed. Knowing the highest of classes still are not protected. CEO’s can get cancer. The president can get Alzheimer's. Investors can get tumors. Is it really so peculiar that I fear that this will occur. Occur in me? Effect my family? Increase mortality? Maybe i’m not a clinical case of a hypochondriac, but I feel that sometimes I can be. Maybe i’m not a maniac, but I know I over worry. These thoughts don’t keep me up at night, but when I’m sick I always think... What if its this, what if its that, what if this thing can **** me. But I guess thats just normal anxiety. Evolutionary instinct. Our human kind won’t go extinct. I don’t need to talk this out with a shrink. So this cold is lasting more than a few days, maybe i’ll just go to a doctor. Stop fearing that this is the end, see someone and you’ll feel better. You can get sick from being stressed, or even change from weather. Its not strange if you catch a cold, no need to worry it won’t last forever. When you feel like the doctor is wrong, please try to remember. A runny nose isn’t cancer, forgetting to check the mail isn't alzheimers, and a headache isn’t a tumor. Those are all just internet rumours. Google isn’t your doctor. Worrying isn’t hypochondria, no need to add that to your self diagnoses list. While disease is a real thing, worrying is the real *****

Dear Everyone, Most should know me past from my writings, most know that I was an addict, in prison, lonely at times, heart aches, I've been trough a lot including death of loves ones. But do you pay attention to my writings about goals, dreams, to inspire, teach, motivate. I just don't talk about it, I follow through, which I hope everyone learns to do one day. If your doing it know, my hats off to you. I have been having trouble getting a job because I am a convicted felon. That only inspired me to talk with God which had changed my way of thinking. I had a dream 2 weeks ago to open up my knowledge from the past. I was very successful in the energy field, to help fight global warming while reducing energy cost. I've been working 24/7 since that conversation. My company is now  real but the opening is postponed because of new ideas. I have been approached by many investors, so me and my team has decided to go public with our stocks. I want to open four offices, Alexandria, Lafayette, Baton Rouge at one time.  And by year two New Orleans where I  I will have my Corporate office. I don't tell you this to boast, but to inspire, especially our youth. I always tell them to dream big and you will never fail. Most don't understand, how sad.  Is that the parents these day don't teach this, just simple say my child if you dream it may come true one day. Tell them to simply dream about a new bike and provide it for them, don't have them earn it. These dreams will always grow year after year. Every day we get older and your children will leave from under your wing. Prepare for this world in the simplest ways and they will be prepared to step out in life. Remember DREAM BIG and you will never fail. INSPIRE, TEACH, MOTIVATE, PREPARE OUR YOUTH FOR THIS BIG WORLD WE LIVE IN, AS WELL SELF MOTIVATION FOR YOURSELF. STAY POSITIVE, NEVER COMPLAIN AND NEVER SAY I CAN'T. My hats off to my Marketing guru & genius , "Gailforcewinds". this is very real I really miss being on this site. **** I've posted over 700 writings in 2 months and read 1000's/

A fire rages through a manufacturing plant. And many under paid and truly innocent people dies. As they sew clothes for well known brand apparel firms. And, when the news spotlight the well known brand. Instantly, they send out the spokes persons to defend their name. Suddenly, it's nobody's responsibilty for these death. What American or foreigner? Doesn't believe that many famous celebrities isn't at fault. Sure they indiretly share the blame simply because they lent out their name. While not questioning a single thing. We know for cheaper pay. Many countries does corporation dirt work. Which only gets spotlighted. When innocent people dies in a fire. Executives, only cares about the dollar sign. And the investors seeking profit too. Is right there behind them. And they wonder, why people complains? Because we know. It's nobody's responsibilty when death comes. We blame someone for it. As long as it's not us.

Every now and again, I think about where my dad might be, and what he might be doing at the very moment in which I think of him. “No dignity, no duty,” I remember my Grandfather saying. We, meaning my mom and I, think that his current dwelling is south, somewhere in Arizona. Maybe alone, maybe with a recent girlfriend who hasn’t realized how two-faced he is yet. It went something like this: when I was the little old age of three, he decided to leave me, my mom, and my sister. He said we were an expense not worth retaining. Having us around couldn’t pay back the debt he owed from his failing business proposition, the invention of a hybrid eating utensil that combined a fork, spoon, and knife together to increase the amount of table room at restaurants and finer consumption establishments for large parities of impatient patrons. His “would-be” investors claimed they already had the “spork” and that hybrid eating utensils were a thing of the past. He cursed the world, anointing the words **** you, I'll make it... I'll make it big somewhere else," and simply was gone ever since. “Your father is a very bad man,” My mother explained to my watering eye. “I hereby excommunicate him from this family. We are going to love each other in this house.” “What’s ex-chum-oon-eh-cating mean?” I asked diligently, wiping a tear. “It’s what the Christian Church does to people who have been naughty. You’ll learn all about those religious doctrines in school, when you’re older. We’ll talk about it then little Bugaboo.” And I was off to bed.

Let a company that according to an article on Yahoo, "reported net profit of 620.1 million through Feb. 1, 2014" paid their CEO, some poor soul named Ronald Sargent, " 10.8 million in total compensation", let's stand by when they say in response to our president's comments about how they limit their employees to 25 hrs a week, "Unfortunately, the president appears not to have all the facts"..... let all of America work no more than 25 hrs, I am ****** so companies and rich CEO's and all the rich investors can get richer while their employees suffer. American way? The president had plenty of facts for me. Boycott Staples Inc.

Investors need to stop treating stocks as a ‘beauty contest’ and follow the difficult investment style of Keynes, global pension expert Keith Ambachtsheer said. Data produced in a working paper from the Harvard Business Schoolshowed that portfolios built on firms with a good material sustainability rating outperformed those that had a poor rating, an aspect not considered enough by investors who were caught up with quarterly returns, Ambachtsheer said at a Chartered Financial Analyst seminar in Sydney on Monday. “What I see happening out there is largely speculation – what Keynes called ‘beauty contest investing’, where everybody tries to figure out what the most popular stocks are going to be in six months, buys them and when they become really popular sells them,” Ambachtsheer said. He added the implications of this investment style as an aggregate was a zero sum game, whereas investing should be taking savings and turning them into wealth producing capital. “The key thing is you need to look beyond the next quarter; you look at the long-term sustainability of the business model of the corporation, as well as the people behind it in terms of how it is being managed.” The Harvard Business School (HBS) working paper superimposed the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board materiality map (which identifies likely material sustainability issues on an industry-by-industry basis) onto 400 common US stocks identified through sustainability metrics from Kinder, Lydenberg, Domini Research & Analytics. They examined what effect materiality would have over the long-term (starting from the 1980s) and found the top 10 per cent of firms that scored strongly on material sustainability outperformed the bottom 10 per cent, by nine per cent over a rolling twenty-year period. “The practical question is, can you actually manage money this way in the real world? And the answer is yes, but it’s very hard, because you are doing unconventional things,” Ambachtsheer said. Real-world Keynesianism investors – such as Warren Buffett and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan – are in a minority despite outperforming over the long-term. In chapter 12 of his seminal workThe General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money, Keynes explained the reason for this was the essence of long-term investors meant their behaviour would be eccentric, unconventional and rash in the eyes of average opinion. “Most organisations can’t function like this,” Ambachtsheer said, as they were too focused on the present.Read more at:www.marieaustralia.com/vintage-formal-dresses | www.marieaustralia.com/backless-formal-dresses
