Mine Filipino rose
I canst not thanketh thee enough;
For giving me a home.

ii.

Mine Filipino rose
Thou always asketh if I knoweth how much thou doth for me;
Yes, I do knoweth, as tis I'm so blessed, and thankful mine queen.

iii.

Mine Filipino rose
I've seen the street's of gold, the pearly gates, the mansion of god;
Because of thee, I've seen heaven's scene's, as thou art a cherub.

iv.

Mine Filipino rose
As I always sayeth, tomorrow may never cometh;
Where the fountain's of life floweth, there I'll stayeth.

v.

Mine Filipino rose
Mine existence, mine life, mine earl Jane, mine wife;
Mine law of good and right, if I dont awaketh, I'll be in the light.

vi.

Mine Filipino rose
I canst not taketh thing's for granted, night might be the last kiss;
For I shalt forever giveth to thee me mine dove, mine wish is this.

vii.

Mine Filipino rose
Mine wish is for if I'm to dieth tonight, never forget me lass;
Look beyond thy window glass, picture mine wing's in flight.

viii.

Mine Filipino rose
Mine heart, mind, spirit, leg's, arm's, eye's, hair, body, soul;
Mine everything of this being, I thanketh thee for all thou hath done.......,,.,

ix.

For god hast sent me an angel
Thee;
The chosen one...........

x.

Mine Filipino
Rose;
I loveth thee more.......

Guns and bullets.
Destroy dreams Of a kid who lost a father,
A son to a mother,
And a love to be surrender.

Body laid on the ground,
Lifeless,
Covered with his own blood.
Poured in his land.

Serving
Peace ,
For us to sleep,
At ease.

Their life,
Dreams,
And sacrifice.
Is enough.

Their battle,
Will never be won,
When we always think,
For our own instead for our nation.

Filipino ,
**** Filipino?
Where is the love and peace,
Mga kababayan  ko? (My countrymen)

Tagapagligtas naming sundalo(soldier),
You're a hero,
In a heart of every Filipino.
Remembering  you.
Please pray for the 44 brave souls of our soldier who has been killed in battle serving peace in my beloved country.

Jose Rizal

Sa Luzon, Visayas at sa Mindanao
Wikang Filipino ang katutubong wika ko
Iba-iba man ang mga dayalekto
May ilakano, waray, bikolano at tausug

“Being a farmer is like being a priest;
you take a vow of poverty
and make a pact with the Lord
that no typhoon will come
and destroy your crops.”

In the rise of sedentary human civilization,
The nation’s agriculture
Became the key expansion.

Its history dates back thousands of years,
With its development,
Has been driven and defined –
By different climates, cultures, and technologies.

The Filipino farmers:
Are they now a dying breed?

Numbers of small farms has dwindled,
With workers opting for city life.
But this trend could exacerbate food insecurity!
Yes, in an import-dependent country –
Already struggling to meet current food demand.

In the face of growing losses,
And from volatile weather,
To new-fangled farming tech,
Limited education makes them less receptive.

What took such toll on the agricultural sector?
Maybe the farmer themselves,
The investors, the buyers – maybe.
Now, it’s due to the government policies,
Our programs are good, yet so weak.
There’s excessive reliance on agricultural imports,
And corruption on the upper level.

Compounding the problem
Is a younger generation –
Largely, leaving rural areas nationwide,
And depleting the pool of potential agricultural workers.

They say it’s too late to do something;
But the mind-set of the younger generation
Still we can change
And make farming appealing once again.

Wika ko ay siya ring wika mo
Tayo ay mga kapwa katutubo,
Pilipino ang ating sinisimbolo
Ano man ang ating kulay at anyo.

Wika ay pagkakaisa ng bawat isa
Pinagbuklod-buklod ang puso’t diwa,
Bukambibig ng maraming dila
Sa pagkakaintindihan siya’y itinakda.

Wika natin ay dapat na mahalin
Hindi natin dapat alipustahin,
Ito ay karapat-dapat na galangin
Ating ipagmalaki at ating tangkilikin.

Wika ay siyang sagisag ng ating bansa
Na binuo ng mga  mamamayang bihasa,
Dilang bihasa sa paggamit ng wika
At mahilig sa mabulaklaking salita.

Wika ko ay siya ring wika mo
Bumubuhay sa ating pagka Pilipino,
Pinapatatag ang ating hukbo
‘Yan ang tibay ng Filipino!

Filipino girl I love you so
and even tho we both live in two different worlds
it only makes me want you more
Filipino girl so beautiful it's you I adore
I dream someday I'll be holding you in my arms
one day we will be married and start a family
because Filipino girl you are the only one I wanna
give my heart too....

The State of My Tagalog:

Stuttering.

Guess that's what you can call it.

The insecure prose that curls downward
On my notebook.

It reeks of bit
And piece
And syllable.

Singular
Because language
After language
After language

Enter my mind
And slip it
Just as quickly,
Leaving only
Fragments.

Oh, the frustration
As I ask
For loose change
From
My sister cashier.

I can't even ask for
The right amount
In Tagalog nowadays.

"Singkwenta."
"Bente."

That adds up to 75, I think.

Passing score on my
Report card too.

My self-graded Filipino class.

Don't even know
How I managed
To spell "Ibarra,"

"Tanikala," "himagsikan,"
"Liwayway..."

I'd sing and not spell,
If they never caught
At the bottom of my throat.

-------------------------------------------

Ang Kalagayan ng Aking Tagalog:

Nauutal.

'Yan ang pwede **** sabihin sa ‘kin.

Walang tiwala sa sariling gawa,
Patunong pababa ang mga salita
Sa aking kwaderno.

Ito’y sumisingaw ng piraso
At bahagi
At pantig.

Nag-iisa
Dahil wika
Bawa’t wika
Bawa’t wika

Ay pumapasok sa aking kalooban
At umaalis
Ganun ding kabilis,
Naiiwan ang mga
Kaputol lamang nito.

O, kay inip
Habang ako’y humihingi
Ng barya
Kay Ateng Kahera.

‘Di ko nga kayang
Humingi ng tamang halaga
Sa wikang Pilipino ngayon.

“Singkwenta.”
“Bente.”
Ito ay pitompu’t lima, ata.

Pasang awa rin
Sa aking report kard

Sariling pagmamarka sa Filipino.

‘Di ko nga alam
Kung paano 'kong
Naisusulat ang “Ibarra.”

"Tanikala," "himagsikan,"
"Liwayway…"

Nais kong kantahin at huwag lang sulatin,
Kung ‘di lang man silang sumasabit
Sa ilalim ng aking lalamunan.

Mahal Kita means + I love you

     Nami-miss kita means- I miss you

Builded is archaic meaning old for built...
Gilded means lightly covered gold leafing...
Third heaven in bible is where gods kingdom is.. First heaven is our air,,, second heaven biblically is universe or space.., third heavens beyond that to gods actual heaven... Real heaven!!!
bedight means adorned.. Or adorned in..

Played on piano-
Verse-1

My kindred spirit
Flesh of my bones;
Don't be in anguish,
Mahal-kita.

My empyrean baby
I'm going nowhere;
Don't you know we were best friend's,
From the times in the air.

So don't ask no question's
And please do not doubt;
We will meet my love
And with God figure it out.

Chorus-

So do not cry
And don't ask why,
Everything has a reason
In God's due season.

Verse-2

Akong gugma
Nimo tinud-anay;
Gihigugma ko-ikaw
I'm here to stay.

Magandang umaga
Magandang araw;
A kiss to you at dusk-
An embracing you at dawn.

Bridge-
Hihintayin kita
Hihintayin kita;
Hihintayin kita,
Hihintayin kita.

Chorus once more-

The end fading out piano.

©Ninth month anniversary song to Earl Jane sardua Nagley!!!

Note- happy nine months my dear!!!my queen, my Reyna! Mine soulmate life and love. I wanna thank you for all the prayers you've given me and my family.. By your prayers and your friends and family's prayers God heard those prayers as he hears the richeous prayers and those who truly seek his help. He heard your prayers to heal my father!!! And protect my mother in her accident ... You truly are a blessing to me and my family Jane. As I always tell you Reyna! God brought us together at the most pivotal and vital time two soulmates can come together with all that is happening in this world. He brought us as one. Not to be seperate but to come together in patience... Tolerance. Love. Peace. Happiness..  Not in fear. Or worry. Or anguish or restlessness. Our God gives us peace through Christ!and Christ alone! You've always been there for me now nine months and I cannot thank you enough from the bottom of my soul! Your a beautiful elegant queen-like young woman with the heavens in front of you awaiting the return of one of its angels!!! You mine love!!! Don't forget who brought us together!!! God did queen. God makes and made all happen! All the blessings even through your trials and tribulations and mine! We are so blessed!!! And we must continue giving love and forgiveness and showing christs love to one another to those who know him and don't know him!!! God is in the son and Savior Christ. And Christ in him. But also Christ lives in us. Show Christ to others!!! Continue showing thankfulness for what we do have amour yes we may be thousands of miles away! But love mine Jane, has no border nor boundary love has no cell holding two soulmates back! We will meet. Yes patience me must endure and trials and tribulations though through it all! Brandon Cory Nagley-
Decided to write song tonight though haven't recorded it yet just let Jane hear it regular recording without piano so far.  Wrote regular style tonight not old archaic way since this is a song for Jane...I'll post song tommorrow on my SoundCloud account...
Word meanings-
pagtatapos- means completion in Filipino tongue
Note- nine is also my number I've always been entranced by spiritually it means completion spiritually as Christ died the ninth hour (completing prophecy of dying on cross) on the cross meaning 3 pm in Jewish time. My b day is September 23 of 1988. I always had fascination with nine as child always writing nine as my Jersey number and found out nine is the most important number spiritually and in all senses. It represents death to the other side making a completion of this life traveling to the next higher realm ( heaven) completing this life.  That's why you hear forever 27 famous stars so on dying that age. It means completion... 2+7=9. Numbers  have everything to do with gods creation and the universe and us. People seem to forget that. Sorry fun facts lol. Nine also means judgement biblically... So yes very important number as always has been to me... And implicates bigger things to come! In all senses especially spiritually!!!
Mahal kita - means I love you. In Filipino.
Akong gugma Nimo tinud-anay; means my love is real.
Gihigugma ko-ikaw- I love you Filipino tongue
Magandang umaga- good morning Filipino tongue
Magandang araw- beautiful day .
Hihintayin kita- I'll wait for you....Filipino tongue.

Susugod na sa bilang ng tatlo
Isa… Dalawa… Tatlo…
Sugod

Ang giyera ay nagsimula
Ilabas na ang mga baril at sandata
Ilabas na ang mga kanyon at bomba
Ang mga tauhan at ang mga preda

Magsisimula na ang giyera

GIYERA

“Hart Hart Saranghaeyo oppa”

Isa. Dalawa. Tatlo.
Suko

Tapos na ang giyera

Dear Jane Sardua Nagley;

Hello dear queen, I just wanted to write you a love letter just in case anything is to happen to me. I'm trying not to sound nor be a pessimistic being mine love, though with all the health issues I have going on right now and worries on mine mind,it's truly hard to be positive. When daily ( literal demon's attack me) as they do you mentally and emotionally and me physically spiritually and in all form's, ( as who cares if others believe in that or not!!!) As tis you have seen the proof physically and what happened with us the one time face talking on Skype. The breathing coming through the line. Yeah as you and I more than know!!! I've never known love before, fact is as I told you!!! Before you I reached out for any quote ( love and affection I can get) ànd I was never truly loved!!! I never truly felt love from anyone nor did I actually ever love anyone else!!! It was out of lonesomeness I reached out to others!!! Because as human beings we reach out in our loneliest hour's, as the amazing part I told you I cried and prayed to God even with others to send me mine real true soulmate!!! One who will love me for me and me inside and me for mine mistakes and faults I have because I'm far from perfect as you say im some perfect being haaa! lol.... But you know how amazing God is Jane? See people always question God asking him why isn't their prayers answered by him? And why isn't he listening to them.. Or hear them? He does hear us. and alot of times God gives us the ànswers back right in front of us and we don't even know it or he'll give his answer not the way we want it meaning not on our own time but his and not always the way we want our prayers answered.. As I kept praying for years as many do and pretty much gave up!!! Then after I got out of prison in mine loneliest lowest time!!! That's when it happened SLAP BAM!!!! On mine doorstep!! Mine angel God sent me!!! The soulmate I learned for years.. Since before mine birth was sent to me Jane. The one who's look's mind soul spirit and voice hair eyes lips thinking all I ever wanted... YOU!!!! And you are always so afraid I'm going to leave you because you feel I deserve better and that you aren't good enough? Are you kidding me? YOU are MORE than worthy and good enough, and I'm never leaving the answer to mine prayer that God finally gave me!!!! Even in death I shall find you... We will meet in this life no matter how long it takes and no matter if we can't talk for a while at times.. I'm NOT leaving you mine Filipino rose!!!!! I'm going nowhere Jane!!!!! I'm so happy with you, I've never known happiness until you fell from the heaven's!!!! You are mine only peace other than God!!! You are mine comfort, best friend, soulmate, mine lover, mine ALL!!! and this is a letter for all to see to bend on mine knee's for mine queen, in front of your throne: to tell you....

Iniibig kita

Minamahal Kita,
Iniirog kita.

ii.

Here do I cometh, I'm on mine way. The skies art clear tonight, just a tint of fine gray; though I spread mine plumage, fracture the tone, I knoweth one day, O' verily one day- I'll findeth mine way home.

And I thinkest, when I findeth the bungalow, I wilt rest, after long
Passage alone. As thou I wilt bestow, mine Lip's on thy own; quietly humming, Sayaw tayo?

Iniibig kita.
Mahal Kita.
Minamahal Kita.
Iniirog kita--- these  are all ways to say I love you to Jane in Filipino tongue. Last one I used is the ( old fashioned) way to say it. (;.
Art- means are.
Plumage- collection of feathers. Feathers collectively.
Verily- means truly.
Hallowed means- to honor as holy.
Bestow- present (an honor, right, or gift).
Sayaw tayo- means would you like to dance with me? In Filipino.
Tagal na ah- means long time no see in Filipino tongue.
Couldst means - archaic for could.
Behold means- archaicliterary
see or observe (a thing or person, especially a remarkable or impressive one).
Crowned head means- king or a queen. This I mean God ( KING)
Yeshua ha'mashiach- would have been what ançient Hebrews would have called Jesus. This is his real name in Hebrew tongue and history. Fun facts about his real name
WHY "YESHUA HA MASHIACH"?
Today in English our Lord is commonly referred to as "Jesus Christ", as
if "Jesus" was His first name and "Christ" was His last name. In
actuality, His name in Hebrew and Aramaic (the languages He spoke) was
"Yeshua", which means salvation. During His life on earth, He was called
"Yeshua".

At the time Yeshua lived on earth, kings were given their authority in
ceremonies where they were anointed with olive oil. Yeshua was known as
the "Mashiach" (Messiah) or The Anointed One having been anointed with
God's authority. Thus He was known as "Yeshua Ha Mashiach", or Yeshua
the Anointed One.

THEN WHY "JESUS CHRIST"?
In Greek manuscripts of the New Testament, "Yeshua" was translated as
"Iesous" which was probably pronounced "yay-soos" in ancient Greek and
is pronounced "yee-soos" in modern Greek. The word "Jesus" then came
from an English translation of Greek manuscripts of the New Testament.

The word for "Mashiach" in Greek is "Christos" meaning anointed. This
word is usually brought into English as "Christ".

Unfortunately, through these translations we've lost the true meaning of
our Lord's name. Which btw Jesus means ( safety) for you ones who are christs own. Good knowing gods son is named safety isn't it? Because he is our peace and our safety. Also his name means ( salvation) many didint know that. Also ringing true. He IS our salvation, and the only way to salvation!!!
Yadid- means beloved one in Hebrew. Beloved- means dearly loved.
Àgapi mou- means my love in Greek tongue.
Zoi mou means- my life.
Se latrevo- means I adore you in Greek.

I lucked out
on table 4 last night
window seat
baseboard heat
with intimate passages
from Ginsberg
in his purest
and most evident form

Cover-all Carl was draped
in his usual garb
(turning pages
of yesterday's news)
animating, culturing, bantering
on the fate of the
Greek barber
(in an accent of which
I'm not so sure)

His cronies
looked on
(with a twisted conviction)
countering
with their own tales
of ingovernance and woe
did you know that Panasonic
lost 5 billion last quarter?

The evening moved
in time lapse...
with painted winds,
streaming lights
and a host of
high school girls
running cold

Maleah passed
on her late shift
(checking the pile and trough),
patronized the boys
and called it a night

( ii )

The bald man
is back at it again
bickering at the till
(something about
a cold free coffee
or 99 cents
or the coloured guy
behind him who got it hot)
a kind Filipino
is trying to get it done
(at 8 bucks per)
losing her cool
and shedding a quiet tear

Wonder what the Purewals
or Haitians or Cossacks
would have to say
about this grim public reminder,
wonder what
this sad f*ck
will do tonight...
without his
bus pass
or sling sack
or broken Turkish stems

Agone day's, I kneweth not amour' mine godly Apostle
I only understood fear, sorrow's, none outlook for tomorrow;
Though I kneweth, ourn creator wouldst send me a seraph
Twas I, was only a serf, I didn't not deserve a queen and a angel.

I never couldst discover where that secret treasure was hidden
I looked, and waited, and hoped, also hopeless on the find;

But now I do knoweth, Jehovah hadst his plan, thee: one in tan.

Yahweh tooketh away, all the substandard's and ourn past strife's
Just at his right moment, in his will, not ourn own, he made right;

For me and thee queen, forever to be; eternally husband an wife.

Sisimulan ko na
Ang kwento nating dalwa
Natatandaan mo pa ba?
Wasak ka non, dahil sa kanya
Nariyan ako, para alalayan ka.
Iniiyakan mo siya.
Iniiyakan kita.

Siguro totoo nga
Na minamahal natin
Ang mga taong hindi sa atin.

Kalaunan, nagbago ang ihip ng hangin
Isang araw, ikaw ay lumapit sa akin
At may sinabing na aking ikinabigla
“ mahal kita “

Abot langit ang tuwa
Ng binanggit ang tatlong salita
Pero may konting pagdududa
Aking puso ay nangangamba
Nabigla ka lang ba?
O totoo ang iyong mga salita?

Pero siguro nga,
Isa akong malaking tanga
Dahil kahit may pangamba
Ay minahal parin kita

Sinagot kita
Naging tayong dalwa
Tayo’y masaya.
Tumatawa.
Nagmamahalan tayong dalwa

Pero ngayon?
Isa nalang itong mga alaala.
Ikaw.
Ako.
Tayo...
Tayong dalawa.
Ay tapos na.

Ito na ang huli.
Pangako.
Dahil alam ko
May mahal ka ng iba.
Masaya ka na
Tumatawa ka na...

Sa piling ng iba.

Hayaan mo.
Naniniwala ako.
Na balang araw,
Ngingiti nalang ako
Pag naalala ko.
Na nagkaroon pala ng ‘tayo’.

Elated, I'm afar from the aqua sphere beneath mine toe's,
I've been taken up by flight, an angel in the night;
A woman, a queen, a mystical paranormal beam,
God heard mine weeping, and with her he sent,
She dried mine Tear's clean.

ii.

I sniveled for eon's, with none hopeful lover's future
Mine joint's were weak, from the lack of nutritional feature's;
At mine lowest point, after imploring mine lord for help,
He sent me mine other half, Earl Jane Nagley, an Asiatic path,
Mine beloved, mine darling, mine seraphic helper.

iii.

I found wholeness, the other purpose to mine sustenance,
She's not for sale, she's not a slave, she's a cherub; not some anecdotal tale. She's not one to taketh man's bribery, she's not a peasant sold and payed for rent: tis she's heavensent- the answer to mine prayer's, she's delicate, she's an empress doth thou seeith, I was birthed for her, as she for me, both made for another, to cherish each other, on cloud nine we shalt be seen.

Makakapagpamulat ba lalo na sa mag-aaral;

Filipino’y instrumento sadyang hindi matumbasan;

Ang mga dapat ilimbag sa papel ng mga dyaryo;

Ito’y kinakikitaan na may seryosong diskurso;

Tunay na nakalulungkot ito’y naging panambitan;

Hanggang sa pag-uunawa pati ng ortograpiya;
Kinailangang mawala ang mga maling pananaw,
Ito’y nangangahulugang pagkilatis ‘di papanaw.

Ang natanging lingua franca nagbibigay identidad
Sambayanang sumasambit pagka- Pinoy lumalantad;

Wika nati’y maging ilaw siyang magsisilbing lakas,
Juan, gumising ka naman, kamtan mo’y tuwid na landas;
Kung hindi tayo kikilos, mayroong paglalamayan.

I am half-Chinese and a half Filipino-Spanish.
I have only learnt to speak Filipino my whole life.

The best advises I have received is that there is no right or wrong,
that labels does not always help.
That no matter what, I should just go
and "Live my life", or "Sing in Full Voice, Until Then".

Attentive to a fault to the work or person at hand.
Because of routine and living demands, sometimes I
only pay attention to what is available or given to me.

Like the quest for the Spices of the East, I could no longer live the same way when the time came. I had to learn preservation and other flavors.

In a Asian Food Show, someone shares
How some later generation Chinese had to study their own native language in secret between 1966 to 1998.
Stories of how their migrant or refugee heritage have made them scapegoats of many local tensions.
And varieties of words and ingredients also native to Chinese and later generations that lived offshore.

Many of us now in the thrash of our collective songs
towards healing and full living as humanity, continuing
refugees and wanderers in our own ways.

Where we see our indigenous-selves and our oppressor-selves,
is not as difficult as we are usually made to,
in a world of artificial
demands and surpluses.

One old song gently reminds me
in many languages singing,
as another bowl of handmade noodles
breaks open into countless random pieces:

We are only passing through earth.
Made to experience, and let go of our fears
and limitations. To gather our remains so that
it is inanimate buildings and objects that are used
by the living instead, and nothing is left behind.
To not leave a trace. To learn how to love.#

There are so many words to describe me,
none of them is B.A.M.E.
I've got a foreign name, exotic.
Try to read it before you modify it.

How long have I lived in the UK because
my English is so good, where did I learn it?
My accent is American, it's confusing.
or my accent is too Filipino, quite embarrassing.
How can we come from so far
and be so fluent-- so bizzarre.

My rice cooker is an enigma,
more so the amount of rice I eat, huh?
My spoon and fork don't make any sense to you
But your table knife achieves nothing for me, too.

Why do we dye our perfect black hair?
why do we want our skin to be fair--
why don't we just embrace our God-given tan?
Your president seems like a smart man
Fighting your country's drug war like no one else can
Lastly, "are you a Manny Pacquiao fan?"

It's quite difficult to be a P.O.C.
in a world that doesn't understand our P.O.V.
Why we've immigrated and not always assimilated
Why we've flown thousand of miles away from home
Only to stick with our own
but sometimes there is just some comfort
in not having to explain the way we are
or who we are
and why we are
the persons we are
without having to feel subpar.

Pang Akademiko o Hindi, ang asignaturang Filipino
Para ito sa kahit kanino
Mapagawa ka man ng bionote,
O kahit anino pa to

Pero sa gamit ng kaalaman at husay,
At sa tamang paggamit neto,
Ito'y magiging hubog sa bansa natin
Ang wikang Filipino, ang wikang dapat angkinin.

Mapa-likhang awit man ito,
Ito'y may sining, gamit sa likhang-pagiisip
Ako'y estudyante na Filipino,
Para sa ipagmalaki ang hubog neto

Gamit ang tamang etika,
Sa pagsulat para umabot sa tala,
Ito'y magiging tamang paraan,
Sa pag-unlad ng nakalaan
Fueled

Awakened

Salamat, I was abjected now uplifted
Salamat, for the gift of life thou hath gifted;
Salamat, for the lung's thou hath given
Salamat, now I'm free, not a slave, I'm living.

Salamat, for thy smile in the dark
Salamat, thy beauty is God's spark;
Salamat, once moribund, now shining
Salamat, I'm moving forward, not rewinding.

Salamat, queen of Yahweh, messenger to the human race;
Salamat, forever we wilt be
Salamat, empress of Asia, mine Reyna, mine sweet.
