Birds on wires
Traded their wings
For long lost desires
Tried to change things
For those hearts that are tired.

Birds on wires
Stand for long stories
And things to admire
Stand for my worries
And for non stopping fires.

Blending in with the sky
They wait around
They never ask why
Suddenly it’s all down
And they’ve lost their will to fly.

Stand up
Fall down
Hit the pavement hard

Conscience empty
Shattered feelings
Black stained and scarred

Bar gripped
Malevolence gone
Trip wire sad

Crossed line
Gender home
Mental anquish mad
The air is different
where feet slip
across steel veins,
air singing through their hands,
outstretched fingers
pushing the sky ever higher,

they run like birds, tethered
to their metal branches
rocking beneath the soles of their feet,
swinging hearts across the sky,
guiding rays of the sun
through their hair,

souls gathering in the clouds,
pulling at children's imaginations
like the strings of a guitar
weaving the sky
into their dreams

It's in those sullen moments,

Attacked with cancerous thoughts.

Alone to hear these things aloud,

In Hell he'll surely rot.

It's in these quiet moments,

He ponders what could have been.

He's found his lock; his ball and chain

And yet he seeks again.

It's in those careless moments

He forgets what he has got.

Temptation to act upon
Out-weighs desire to not.

It's in these stupid moments

He loses all he possessed
By drowning those evil voices
With the flask upon his breast.

It's in those final moments

He staggers with heavy thoughts.

No more will he hear these things aloud,
'Cause in Hell he'll surely rot.

My tears are like razor wire
Upon my ****** skin
They bleed my emotions
"
"
"
Feelings
Abandonment
Suffering
In silence, my tears
Scream down my face,
In silence to others
But every moment one falls
Nails
Scream
Upon a
Chalk
Board,
Deafening my senses, they
Loosen from my face
Falling like,
Atomic Bombs
Cleansing,
Vaporizing,
Emotions,
On the ground below,
My tears scream out in silence
And I am the only one that can hear..

I am enveloped by your warmth
Beating the sun’s eternal rays
A wondrous exposure of enthralling captivity
By the stellar beams of your embrace

Digits intertwined like wires
In a rocketship’s engine with
Pressure locked softly in our hold
Like gravitational glue of touch

You say,
“You are celestial”
And my lungs had blown up
An influx of blood
Travel to the lining of my face
When your mouth broke into
An astral curve after

You are my halcyon sea
Moving like a quiet prayer
Like satellite signals
From the waves of space
And of the briny undertow
In our cosmic dance

Ebbing like a small sailboat
We rocked back and forth
To the trance of humming machines
Of clockwork
And graced by the heat of the guiding stars

I feel like a planet
Protected by your stardust

Got my whole world closed down
In a lockdown
Under surveillance
Hoping no one can see what's inside
No one is allowed in
Without special permission
Yet you’re here
How did you get in
You snuck in under my radar like no one before
You must have some serious skill
But now I must remove you from the premises of my world
You are a threat to the wellbeing and surroundings
You don't belong here yet
How did you get here
Why are you here
My whole world is closed down to everyone around me
In a lock down with security heavily guarding every part
How did you get in
Sure you can visit
Sure you can take a peak
But don't cross inside
That's how it's always been
So how did you get past the barb wire
How did you get past the landmines
Snuck in under my radar
Now I don't know how to get you out
You know to much already
Seen too much of what happens in here
How did you get in to this place
Where no one else has been aloud before.
My world is closed down to everyone else
So how did you sneak your way in
Please don't leave
Visitors are nice
And are few and far between
I don't mind them once in a while
Promise you won't spill the secrets you have seen
Or the secrets you have heard.
You've seen too much already
You know too much now.

After Henry Taylor*

On a peaceful night just as the stars had
risen and the chilled dew was beginning
to form on the grass, a set of steel tracks
resting atop an ordinary hill
began to hum with warm vibrations as

a steam-powered engine came towards them,
pulling along an assortment of goods,
it came fast and came loud, breaking all of
the solitude by the hill, but perhaps
it was going too fast or maybe the
tracks were a little wet or it may be
that the train simply wanted to jump, but

just as it reached the turn atop the hill,
it leaned off its path and like a rubber
band; the rest followed, throwing to the air
everything held inside, tumbling down
the hill, splashing through the water droplets

until finally coming to a rest
at the bottom, where splintered lumber and
distorted steel had torn up earth to show
a mound of fresh dirt, riddled with gravel
and twigs, the hill became quiet once more,
just as the train whispered its final gasp
and the dew began to form on its wheels.

For a time I grew up way too fast,
I had to slow down to make memories last,
Stopped seeing complex and looked to the simple,
I possessed the spark I just needed the kindle,
To ignite the fire of my desires,
Walking thick headed on a super thin wire,
Revamped my cause is what it was,
Stopped playing around when I needed to pause,
These days I lead a life of content,
When I realized nothing is written in cement,
Skeletons in my closet were found when cleaning,
I don't have to find it out I create my own life meaning.
