Kiss me softly
right where my wings unfold,
hold me like your tears carry promises
deeper than the wounds
your fingernails have dug in my spine

but please, darling,
don't hand me flowers
your fingertips can't bend to the will of,
and don't you dare point at stars
your arms will never reach

because this doorway is used to seeing
your shadow go and come around
and these walls have seen you
take much and give little

your ego is used to feeding off
of this my will to stay,
a will that’s slowly eating me away

and though my lips stay craving
the lining of your body,
my heart is starving
for something real.
unsent love letter to a reckless lover

I thought i saw a piece of heaven,
but that was just a dream
i thought you cared about others
but maybe you do it for you
loyalty has no bounds, they say
but what happened to you
your wings are burnt and soiled
with deaths that were not your fault
your halo is cracked and dim
with shadows that overtake you
how did you fall down here
where hate grows like weeds
why did try to save us
when we are unclean
angel who falled to save us
give them back their wings
though they are not perfect
they mean everything to me

Oh how he loved the Sun.
Loved to feel her against his back, pressing to him like the flattened flowers in the pages of a book.
How she seared him with sun-kissed skin.
He wasted on Earth dreaming of the Sun.
He grew wings of wax and clay.
He begged the Wind for flight and flew to her.
But her warmth became a fire and her light became a glare.
Still he flew higher.
She wept and pleaded him to return to the Earth.
He could not see her tears.
The wax melted.
The clay hardened.
He fell and the Sun burned on.
Be content with who you have and what you are Icarus.

Wait!
Where are you going?
Can i ask you something?
How have you been?
Sorry i wasn't there
When you were trapped within
When you were suffering
From your darkest fear
Scribbling the past
Along with your tears.

Sorry i wasn't sure
About you and your pain
That your blood
Still suffer those tapered veins,
My touches has now turned into scars
I know you were born
And named as a star.

I deliberately imprinted my thoughts
Into your mind
So that one day
You could be mine
I waited,
Waited for a while
Waited for you
To come back into my life,
Still waiting
To heal your pain
Peace your brain
Trust me
I can make your wings...fly again.

I bit my lip so I won't speak
chewed it up so my words won't peek
out with my tongue. Mouth shut, I keep
my voice to myself even when I weep.
I'm on the ground like a trembling dove
being cut with scissors wielded with love.
They clipped my words
like wings of birds.
Held those feathers to the light
and ordered them to take flight.
Then laughed when I stilled on the concrete
and nudged my broken wings with their feet.

The soft woollen like you is precious derived from Kashmir origin sheep;
You and woollen are both warm and deep.
Like when woollen is collecting from sheep's body;
She reveals her inner beauty of nature embodies.
Likewise, you cover your naked body with cashmere you;
Looks like an angel covering her wings as two.
I'm just staring your curved back through,
My unseen eyes.
Seems like you just born from nature ashes and rise.
I think I'm the only lucky person who,
See you as new.
My lips are craving for a taste of your wings
Which are unseen as our heartstrings!

It comes in passing
Above us
Upon the ground we may not see them
We may not hear their messages
The words of warning and advice
Go unheeded
Carried off by winds
Much louder than their whispering voices
I tilt my gaze to the sky
Watching their words fly by
I wonder how long they have been singing
Who had heard their songs?
Did they hear them in time?
Or was the last note they heard one of melancholy
Of dreams untapped and unrealized
The chains that bind us down from joining them in their flight
Keep us from their songs
They are the ones we put on ourselves
But the shackles have been loosened
Wings freed and flowing
I join their chorus of wisdom
And hope others may finally hear our song
