Idklove Jan 2020
The soft woollen like you is precious derived from Kashmir origin sheep;
You and woollen are both warm and deep.
Like when woollen is collecting from sheep's body;
She reveals her inner beauty of nature embodies.
Likewise, you cover your naked body with cashmere you;
Looks like an angel covering her wings as two.
I'm just staring your curved back through,
My unseen eyes.
Seems like you just born from nature ashes and rise.
I think I'm the only lucky person who,
See you as new.
My lips are craving for a taste of your wings
Which are unseen as our heartstrings!

Her arms locking round me, her warm embrace
Like cashmere touched for the very first time
And feeling too perfect, too comforting to exist.
Ew.
By the sea,
I watched as
the thoughts
within my mind
faded with the white
effervescence, I am
wrapped in a cashmere
blanket as I drink my
cafe au lait, the wind
tousled my hair as I
contemplated the
silence of the hour,
within its watercolor
becoming the gentle,
soft soul of mine
seeking to understand
the meaning of love,
even though,
I am misunderstood,
and so, I sit here,
content as a dandelion,
fragile, yet still yearning
to dream.
I just want
to see how
beautiful
you truly are,
far from what
you see you
see in the
mirror,
for now,
look away
from the
world,
our fingers
gently trace,
softly, the sun
paints light
upon your
golden skin,
hold me closer,
your sweater
Is softer than
cashmere,
and palms
caress
as the sun
rises from
the sea, and
all turns to
watercolor,
these eyes
are special
to me, as
they hold
the secrets
of your heart
I will hold
as it whispers,
"for you,
I am a soul
deeply
in love,
wishing
upon a star
among
thousands,
waiting for
your arms
to open my
petals,
I know what
those shining
eyes are hiding,
they are closely
holding a love
greater than
time, I have been
waiting for you,
I want you to know,
you are the
beautiful one
who will be the
sunshine to my
rain, the warmth
I seek to reside
In forever, and
the breathe
of the rose
I wish to
become".
Henry Koskoff Oct 2017
his eyes wide and blue
bulging expressively
his sweater soft
it’s cashmere and it caresses tender surfaces
bundles of it gather over time at scattered oases
they are now mine
they are now my bundles
they smell of old clothing and mildew but he still is dressed by them
he is living in them
pointe shoes pound the surface of the stage
but look increasingly elegant
like my mother
their costumes glistening and frosted by a powdery film
of glitter and artificial snow
now Bob Dylan’s punctual strings resonate in my memory
he’s telling me to keep my head forward like Steve used to do
if I don’t look back
i don’t have to say goodbye
Ember Evanescent Oct 2014
Fabric of fate, woven emotions, of which life is sewn.

My morning was Ivory satin
smooth and pure and bright
Birthday buzz and laughter
Bubbling thoughts of you
Noon was green velvet
Natural and warm and soft
Everything seemed to be right
And I couldn't wait to talk to you again
But the afternoon was black leather
When you texted me hi
Just to say goodbye
And the evening was ebony nylon
Flimsy, dark and easily torn
I tried to hide my crestfallen disappointment
But family is family
And they will be jerks
But no matter if you are immediate family
Or not
They can be your red wool
To keep you warm and away from harm
even when you are hurting silently
I shifted to a guarded charcoal chiffon
And he told me the way only a family member could tell
I know something's wrong
I promised I was fine even though I was becoming
Silver lace, fragile and tearing at the seams
He never spoke of it again
But for the rest of the night
He protected me from anymore damage
A tough sort of defensiveness
That meant everything to me
And for an evening, he was cashmere
Because I was touched that he could and would show me such strong family love
Without saying anything to me at all

Repost if a family member, immediate or not has done something kind for you to make them cashmere
Please comment! I love to read interpretations of my poetry! Especially long ones.
