The good thing about being a gypsy
is its wild sativa;
the bad thing about being a gypsy
is its tamed alcoholic.

The good thing about being a gypsy
is its endless freedom;
the bad thing about being a gypsy
is its slavery to freedom.

The good thing about being a gypsy
is its philosophic heart;
the bad thing about being a gypsy
is its down-regulation of joy.

The best thing about being a wanderer
is its search for silence;
the worst thing about being a wanderer
is its capacity for noise.

The best thing about being a wanderer
is the free meal;
the worst thing about being a wander
is the free meal.

The best thing about being a wanderer
is the love of night;
the worst thing about being a wanderer
is the love of day.

The best thing about being a gypsy
is the wandering heart;
the worst thing about being a wanderer
is the gypsy heart.

The best thing about being a gypsy
is its magic book;
the worst thing about being a gypsy
is its accumulated curse.

The best thing about being a gypsy
is its varied muse;
the worst thing about being a gypsy
is its lack of one.

She is just going.. going places.
She is leaving without any traces.
She is aimlessly travelling in search for something.
Like a vagabond, she is just wandering.
Try not to stop her, because she is actually falling.
Falling in love.
Loveless Dec 2015
Prologue (goddess)
When the war of the beasts
Brings about the world's end
The goddess descends from the sky
Wings of light and dark spread afar
She guides us to bliss
Her gift everlasting

Act 1 (the wanderer)
Infinite in mystery
Is the gift of the goddess
We seek it thus
And take it to the sky
Ripples form on the water's surface
The wandering soul
Knows no rest

Act 2 (the hero)
There is no hate only joy
For you are beloved
By the goddess
Hero of the dawn
Healer of worlds
Dreams of morrow
Hath the shattered soul
Pride is lost
Wings stripped away
The end is nigh

Act 3 (the abhorred)
My friend, do you fly away now
To the world that abhors you and I
All that awaits you
Is a somber morrow
No matter where the winds may blow
My friend your desire is the bringer of life
The gift of the goddess
Even if the morrow is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return

Act 4 (the avenger)
My friend, the fates are cruel
There are no dreams
No honour remains
The arrow has left
The bow of the goddess
My soul corrupted by vengeance
Hath endured torment
To find the end of the journey
In my own salvation
And your eternal slumber
Legends shall speak
Of sacrifice at world's end
The winds sail over the waters surface
Quietly but surely

Act 5 (the sacrifiser)
Even if the morrow
Is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return
To become the dew
That clenches the land
To spare the sands
The seas and the sky
I offer thee this silent sacrifice
Full poem at once
And a simple interpretation of mine

Each act is spoken by different people of the story
The story;
There were three friends -"the beasts" as the poem says
One becomes the prisoner - the avenger, the evil
One flies away - the wanderer in the poem, the abhorred
The left one becomes the hero - the hero, the sacrificer
The hero sacrificed himself at the call of the goddess

For the avenger, goddesss is the evil, gift is the power
For the wanderer and abhorred, goddess is the goodness, gift is life and light
For the hero goddess is his lover and gift is the Love

But at the end of the tale, the hero dies making a promise of return and so the title is loveless

This blank sheet on my screen,
Just waits there patiently.
Stays invitingly,
Urging me to write something.
My heart is a wanderer,
It imagines a lot.

But when I sit back to write,
My mind is nothing but white.

I wonder what to type,
About the stars,
Or my life.
Maybe about the last book I read,
Or the question which was spinning my head!

In the mean time,
My heart has taken off,
To some place I want to be mine.
I think about the beautiful hills,
The lakes and houses,
In a small countryside,
Where I would like to reside.
Living a life,
In which I have plenty of ‘me’ time,
Where I can just gaze at the sky,
And dream to fly.
I want to run in the meadows,
Just lie down under a tree,
Doing nothing,
But admiring;
Nature and its wonders.

The sun not bright,
Just some soothing light,
With a small pond nearby,
In the grass, I lie.
Looking up I see the clouds,
Covering the sky,
Not so high.

I want to reach those clouds,
I want to hold them in my hands,
In the cool breeze,
(Of) Where I stand.

I want to be on the beaches,
See that golden sand,
Watching the sun go down,
With coconut in my hand!
Then, the stars would come out,
Shining at me,
As if all pointing me out.

I want to travel,
And travel a lot.
I shall write,
About that whole lot.
About those breathtaking scenes,
And beaches and greens.
The places I see,
The people I meet.

Living life is all about happiness,
And seeking the same,
Even in things that are bad.
Just never stop dreaming,
Expressing, and fulfilling,
Keep your eyes open,
Cling to perseverance,
Keep that fire of life
Alive,
Don’t ever let your heart die.
The best part is still to come,
Watching the dreams you have had,
And seeing them come true!

He wasn't a loner.
He was just a wanderer in search for a place where he could find peace.
His imagination was too vivid and wild. His mind was like a sphinx, impossible to decode.
His thoughts were a tangled mess of knots.
He was a mystery.
He was never able to seek peace but he found something intriguing. He met her.
Just like him - Wandering like a gypsy, with chaos occupying her mind.
She was like the missing piece from his jigsaw puzzle of a life.
Together they dreamt about all the magical infinities they longed for all their lives.
I’m a man on wheels.
Don’t got much to ride for
and I know how lonely feels.
Few women I would die for,
none in ribbons or high heels.
There’s a place back home
I call my own,
but the emptiness it yields
makes me remember why I’m a man on wheels.
The days of constant travel.

It cant stay fixated,
It travels the whole world.
It thinks of the lush green trees out in the fields,
Or of the running water,
And the fishes so free.
The lion king who has no strings,
The monkey who can run and climb whenever he feels.
He wants to be free,
Like the birds around him,
Chirp and sing like there's no tomorrow,
And fly without any worries.
The mountains so white,
So huge and high.
"Oh what a pleasure could be", he thought,
"if I could climb".

No one can guess,
What he really wants to be.
Not like everyone else,
He is definitely unique.
He hardly thinks about studies,
Wanderlust is always on his mind.
Hoping for only his wishes to come true,
He is yet,
Only a wanderer,
In the lands of his mind.

they say i'll never find a home
if i spend my whole life on the road

why can't they see
*the road is home to me
hold on to me as we go as we roll down this unfamiliar road. just know you're not alone
cause i'm gonna make this place your home.

I am a cosmic wanderer
Lost in the darkness and shimmerness of his eyes
I'm in love with the darkness he breathes
And the stars he exhales.

Of course I remember that rainy day
you took me in your arms
and said you will protect me
you were like the perfect umbrella,
the kind that's big enough to not let
any drop of cold rain on my skin.

You were like one of those cottages
with an open fire,
you find in the middle of nowhere,
on a winter night while you're wandering by yourself
thinking you are about to die.
I was happy when I've found you,
I felt that you saved my life,
but, then the morning came and
I realised
you could protect me from the night and cold,
but you couldn't save me from the wanderer in me
from myself.
