When all the water has left
the dry Earth will sing to Sky
Return, please, return!
Both the stone pulling
and the void pulling
like to kiss in the middle
of war. Scorched turns to damp
in the end, providing our
diligence and duty to life.
It's shameful the water goes
now when such destruction
hangs in the near distance.
Diligence may no more undo
the damage, for the time
has gone as well.

The Trumpoet Mar 2017
Did you support that Donald Trump in his campaign last year?
Why didn't all his hatefulness fill you with dread and fear?
Did you believe his B.S. or did you hate Hillary
so much that you preferred a **** who likes to grab pu--y?

At some point did you realize the truth he cannot tell,
when he fibbed about inaugural crowds and voter fraud as well?
When he misled you on healthcare, did you finally agree
that lying just like breathing; both come to him naturally?

And what about his henchmen, tangled up with Russian ties
to the Kremlin and the oligarchs, in cahoots with Putin's spies?
When Trump heaped praise on Vladimir, were you just too blind to see,
or did you hope that your leader would be Comrade Trumpsky?

Oh how could this have happened? What an awful, global mess!
A big buffoon's in power, do you finally confess?
Did your vote help to elect him? To the Whitehouse was he sent
because in a fit of madness, you said "Trump for President"?!

'cause in a fit of madness, you said TRUMP-FOR-PRESIDENT?!
This poem can also be sung to the tune of "The Hoedown Song", which was a common feature on Drew Carey's former improvisation show, "Whose Line is it Anyway?". You can see and hear this poem performed with the music on YouTube at https://youtu.be/TcBx_DKkiyo.

I may be the orange, and you may be the blue.
I shall be the black and you shall be the white.
I could have one of those shiny bubbly lights, you could have dozens.

But that's ok.
We are all different,
But my dear oh friend...
We finitely share one thing in common.
We're all in this mad beautiful world together.

Accept it, Love it, and Live it.
Good night everyone!

Welcome home to reality where you lose what you love
This place you call safe, may not be secure enough
~
This land you call free may leave you broken and bare
And just when you think you've made it, you're nowhere near there
~
Welcome home to this place that is fueled by power and greed
Give it your best shot, but you may never succeed
~
Hope for the best but you may shatter your dreams
You may cling to hold it together and still fall apart at the seams
This does not reflect my mood today!

Sisters what are you doing?
Fighting.
Shaming.
Competing with each other.
Exchanging ***** looks.
We are in this together we should not be tearing each other apart, but building each other up.

Go back to sleep my sweet child,
your innocent eyes are not ready,
the world is too scary,
all i see are humans but not humanity,

I pray for you my sweet child,
For that you will awaken in a better world,
A world in which no humans fight each other
because of their differences,

A world where humans don't discriminate,
and just appreciate,
Appreciate that they are united and unique,

bloodlines going from centuries and centuries,
All connected like the leaves of an evergreen,
Like the lines on the leaves that cannot easily be seen,
Like the veins in our bodies that helps us stay alive,
Like the blood pumping in our hearts that helps us survive,

My sweet child,
I hope they will soon understand,
life will get better if they stand hand in hand..

I take each step forward

thinking about the steps you took without me.

My heart has faith

in the love that it felt

and it knows not how to give up.

But the pain of your indifference and neglect

hits the shore made of pebbles and shells

we collected all our life,

for the one we shall love.

But tonight, I am leaving this shore,

venturing into waters that I do not know of,

to feel what you feel.

So we may be united in hatred,

if not in love.

Everytime you bring me back from
The shore of infinity
Dragging my soul through waves
Sprinkling foamy stardust on my eyelids.
I open them
And find your shadow more pale
Than yesterday's dream.
You carry my wings
Your shoulders under my feathers
Expand wider than western horizon.
I melt and spread
Like a field of sunny tangerine
On your patient chest.
An ocean that is sweeter than freedom
Deeper than the blues of Pacific.

U Thant was a Burmese diplomat and is quoted on Facebook,

Every human being, of whatever origin, of whatever station, deserves respect. We must each respect others even as we respect ourselves.

Wars begin in the minds of men, and in those minds, love and compassion would have built the defenses of peace.

The war we have to wage today has only one goal and that is to make the world safe for diversity.
