I know it makes no sense.
You are the sun
and I am the moon
and we were never supposed to collide,
but now that we have,
how am I ever supposed to forget
the one that illuminates me?

Do you think the moon
loves the sun,
anymore,
than his thousand
mistresses of stars?

The sun shined
His bright glory gleaming
Smile costs more than a dime
His glorious shine beaming

And there’s the moon
who silence the night
to declare the sun’s doom
and keeps the love out of sight

sun and moon,
Romeo and Juliet
a story made by fate
a love that ended soon

nobody knew the story behind
how the sun suffered and died
for the moon to live and breathe
and for everyday to repeat

They were worlds apart
But not even the universe
Can forbid their love to start
And their love to disperse

But on one fateful night
Power was given for them to meet
A moment without fright
Leaving the problems on their feet

The rest of the world watched in awe
how the moon gets kisses
by the sun that she misses
the day of eclipse winning the love they fought

I am sun and you are moon.
Caressing countlessly
Cranes and Starlings swoon
With love effortlessly.

I paint the daybreak flawless
with color sinking in
Moon is gathering the waves
while Mantas sink and swim.

You wrap yourself in darkness
with holes and craters deep,
Orbiting a world that has you
shackled at your feet.

I can see it spinning, with
everything it holds.
And I'm afraid that one dark day,
it might just steal your soul.

I can't control your presence
parading atmosphere,
And must not always worry
That the waves will disappear.

Nor reminisce on memories
so many "moons" ago,
That orbit other planets,
of which we'll never know.

And maybe all this warmth
inside my soul so bright,
is overtaking judgment
and misjudging moon at night.

The heat within me rising
might be unwarranted.
So I will just shine brighter
and make flowers bloom instead.
symbolism is life.

A feeling so soft,
A feeling so strong,
A feeling so light,
A feeling so deep.

Inhale,
Exhale,
This, is no other,
Than a true tale,
Where the sun just won't leave,
But rather die,
To let the moon breathe.

Every step, everyday,
The moon would cry the day away,
Waiting for the moment,
The moment,
Where the sun would give his life,
Not by arrow, not by knife,
But by love,
Love for his moon,
Love for her life.

Inhale,
Exhale,
This, is no other,
Than a true tale,
Where the sun just won't leave,
But rather die,
To let the moon breathe.
A love so pure, a love so deep, that you'll give up what you have for those you truely love.

I have searched my whole life for someone like you
Though I have lied and told others that, it's different I mean it with you

I have ****** up every relationship I have ever been in...
Fear has wrecked my love for anyone before you

But with you I am not afraid... I am strong
You are what I want... I will do whatever it takes to keep you

You don't ask me to do anything... You never have
You read my poems about other guys, pure fiction

I thought you would leave then... That you wouldn't let me explain
But you stopped and let me talk to you... let me explain

How I cut up my memories and glue them together to make a poem
It was simply astonishing how your anger faded, how you excepted my fiction

You are the Sun to my Moon I reflect the love, the light I see in you
Everything about you I simply adore, I wait all day until the night

For that's when we can talk for hours on end
You have no idea how cold I was before you...

I hope you never learn all the things I've done
I know you have an idea but you haven't heard it from my mouth

How I sought to break guys hearts, how I'd lie to make them love me...
All because people broke my heart... But then you tamed the beast inside

You made her love you as much as I do, you disarmed my traps
With your honesty you won my respect... I've never respected any of my lovers from the past

If I could I'd tell you everything I've ever done... But I'd run out of words...
I was a beast before you loved me that's about the simplest way to put it

The Moon-
It is dark and cold
All my dream is to shine
This thought is bold
And it might be out of line
I see something bright
I wonder who that could be
It has a wonderful light
It give life to every human, animal, & tree
Only one can make this done
It could only be the Sun

The Sun-
Who could that be over there
She looks very sad
I'll make her come over here
What can I do to make her glad
I'll cast my light
I'll do that for her
I'll make it right
A beauty so fair
She makes me crazy like a loon
I'm falling for the Moon

Sun and Moon-
I'll go over there
I will share my emotions
This is a risk that I will bare
But I will make this notion
We will have each other
We will make this done
Nothing will be a bother
It will only be the Moon and Sun
We have in each other a new friend
We will chase each other to the end

Times are hard to catch
Our days never match
Our differences are too much
You are like the Sun, and I the moon
Do you think it is possible for us, to meet soon?
Memories of us together
Will stay in my mind forever and ever
Good or bad, I’ll always remember

And if I do not remember anymore
And refuse to believe forever
Always Remember that mind forgets, but heart never..

"Remember in summer when we used to listen to the smiths and make out in that little hidden park?" He said with a little smirk.
"Tragically, yes." She didn't even look at him. She didn't laugh with him. She didn't smirk back. She looked ahead, stared at the open road, like it was a possible escape plan.
"I miss you." He didn't think. Its funny, the things you regret immediately, the things you regret as they're happening.
"No, you don't." The same monotone voice.
"Why cant we get over this?" Hes not angry, or pleading, or sad. Hes just asking. He doesn't expect an answer.
"Because I hate you." She said. This time she looked away from the road, she looked at him, dead in the eye. Her eyes were welled with tears, they did not steam down her face or smear her make up, they were just there. Like they weren't for anyone but her. And he didn't want to take that away from her.
"You're my best friend."
"I don't care. I hate you, with every fiber of my being, I hate you. I hate you like the sun hates the moon, I hate you." She said it matter of factly, trying to be hurtful. She didn't want him to think she was weak. That she would just give up on this.
"I cant loose you." His voice broke half way though, snapped under the pressure, hiccuped like a prepubescent boy talking to his crush.
She turned to him, lent forward and whispered in his ear.
"Too late." She turned on the ***** of her feet and melted away into the cool winters day, like she used to on those summer ones, where they would listen to the smiths, in that little hidden field, and make out. When they were best friends. When they both knew they could never be just best friends. When they both tasted like the american dream and homemade cooking. When the sun loved the moon.
I miss you.
The colour of her lips were so deep
That I could not leave the room to sleep
For her beauty made my soul leap.

I could not forget her lovely eyes
Or say my goodbyes
For in her mind held all the skies.

Her laugh filled my heart
To the point I could not part
For she spoke the literary art.

Yet I no longer needed to sigh
For there, a clue, on her thigh
As an orchid did lie:

Just as the sun loves the moon
Again I shall have the ultimate boon
With the new day I could again enjoy her rune.

So as I bid my adieu
I pondered on the truth I now knew:
We will speak again after the morning dew.
