Cut out the lights, you don't need any
Lights are fading away, it shines elsewhere
Grace, you've been put out from grace
Dishonesty, you're granted from it

Got yourself stood in the edge about to slips away
Cliff, opening it's way, channel you to seventh level of contrition
Awaiting the hour of reprisal
Left you in your own misery

Reverend, reverend
Is this a conspiracy?
Your whole life is a conspiracy
Crucified for no sins

No mercy on you
No revenge beneath you
Nothing new for you to see
Blood stream down from the lacerated sky

As its marches you to the purgatory
Boisterous sounds going on
Reminiscing the sworn you've had
It's where you're ascended from now on

naive : unaffected simplicity
desire : to long; hope for
temptation : act of appeal
greed : selfish, extravagant desire
pride : state of excessive self-esteem
arrogance : overbearing pride, personal superiority; contempt
sin : offense against the moral law

these are applicable to all humans.
what a nice sentence.

my body is leaden
with the weight of my sins
heavy and burdensome

a persistent reminder
of wrongs long past and yet are
impossible to atone

looming overhead like rain clouds
full to bursting with painful thoughts
brimming with more tears to be shed

perhaps it does not linger so much
above as it does below our feet
like black sticky tar or deep quick sand

every step forward is taken in vain
serving only to drain us completely
of what hope we might have possessed
so it was. so it shall always be.

How do broad shoulders
bare the weight of what
     we carry to the grave,
and how do we gauge
    the weight of
    what never was?

They say we simply
need to share
to speak,
but I know not one man
that can shine a torch
on his own demon,
let alone name It.

So They start to circle
as bones no longer
Creak but Crack
and broad shoulders start
learn the pain of growing older
and like demons
make for
fine friends.

If
the eyes are the window
through which we can look
into the soul,
Then let words serve
as a souls outstretched arms
and when we look in let us see
that in yours are a shield,
and mine a sword,

Then let you block and bash
as I swing and slash
that not one more man may fall
and broad shoulders need bare
nothing at all.
As we grow old and carry the weight of our lives, we find those with similar demons and gain a sort of peace in sharing.
There comes a time where one will win
The others left to pay for sins
They did not do
They did nothing

A renegade dream
All burned up in sins
Fall against reason
Fight against rhyme

I could stay and wait
A little while longer
But it seems that I’m
Running out of time

Yet to spill apart this
Chest, and carve my
Second thoughts onto
Your creased brows

I’d gladly let you do
The same—if only our
Fatal circumstance
Shall ever mildly allow.

in the early hours of dawn
everything is pure,
every day starts anew,
every person is born again,
everyone gets a clean slate
and the sins of our past
are all washed away.
i wish i could hold this moment,
make the sunrise last forever,
so that we never have to face
the pain again.
in the early hours of dawn
everything is pure,
everyone gets a clean slate
and the sins of our past
are all washed away.

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, [e]converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the [f]honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.

12 Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse me from secret faults.
13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins;
Let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless,
And I shall be innocent of [g]great transgression.

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my [h]strength and my Redeemer.
Allowing His grace to cover our faults our sins and knowing His will is to cleanse our way,

Screaming in silent hues
Into the sky, diffuse
Like my mind that I abused
My trepidation from it oozed.

I try to keep, but in vain
My broken thoughts inside my brain
Out of control, they proved bane
Never content within their terrain

And when all is ordained and said
I look down at my palms with dread
Glaring in disgrace and sins of red
The person in the mirror is dead
