faint glimmers crackle,
smoke fills the air and lungs,
laughter fill ears.
secrets are exchanged,
jokes are told,
memories are relived.

All underneath
the moon who watches
our sins.

When the doors of heaven were open wide,
the divine rays of god restored the dawn.
The holy waters were then sprinkled,
and the soul of earth was baptized.
The chromatic aisle was then instilled,
washing off the somber hue.
The odor of sanctity was then diffused,
the state of misery was blown away.
The sicks and the spirits were then anointed,
and all the sufferings were healed,
and sins of humans were redeemed.

in the arctic air
the sins of the tundra are
absolved
                in passing
We always think
Those who are alone
Deserve to be lonely
Yet everyday we witness
Sins above all
Everyday we witness
The world we have built
From the outcast
Trying to fit in
To the stray
Keeping their distance
We always think
They are the ones falling behind
But think again
Are they?

Cut out the lights, you don't need any
Lights are fading away, it shines elsewhere
Grace, you've been put out from grace
Dishonesty, you're granted from it

Got yourself stood in the edge about to slips away
Cliff, opening it's way, channel you to seventh level of contrition
Awaiting the hour of reprisal
Left you in your own misery

Reverend, reverend
Is this a conspiracy?
Your whole life is a conspiracy
Crucified for no sins

No mercy on you
No revenge beneath you
Nothing new for you to see
Blood stream down from the lacerated sky

As its marches you to the purgatory
Boisterous sounds going on
Reminiscing the sworn you've had
It's where you're ascended from now on

naive : unaffected simplicity
desire : to long; hope for
temptation : act of appeal
greed : selfish, extravagant desire
pride : state of excessive self-esteem
arrogance : overbearing pride, personal superiority; contempt
sin : offense against the moral law

these are applicable to all humans.
what a nice sentence.

my body is leaden
with the weight of my sins
heavy and burdensome

a persistent reminder
of wrongs long past and yet are
impossible to atone

looming overhead like rain clouds
full to bursting with painful thoughts
brimming with more tears to be shed

perhaps it does not linger so much
above as it does below our feet
like black sticky tar or deep quick sand

every step forward is taken in vain
serving only to drain us completely
of what hope we might have possessed
so it was. so it shall always be.

How do broad shoulders
bare the weight of what
     we carry to the grave,
and how do we gauge
    the weight of
    what never was?

They say we simply
need to share
to speak,
but I know not one man
that can shine a torch
on his own demon,
let alone name It.

So They start to circle
as bones no longer
Creak but Crack
and broad shoulders start
learn the pain of growing older
and like demons
make for
fine friends.

If
the eyes are the window
through which we can look
into the soul,
Then let words serve
as a souls outstretched arms
and when we look in let us see
that in yours are a shield,
and mine a sword,

Then let you block and bash
as I swing and slash
that not one more man may fall
and broad shoulders need bare
nothing at all.
As we grow old and carry the weight of our lives, we find those with similar demons and gain a sort of peace in sharing.
There comes a time where one will win
The others left to pay for sins
They did not do
They did nothing
