Keep under your control:
Your tongue, temper and ego.

Everybody gets:
Happiness,sorrow and death.

Fight for your:
Country, rights and self respect.

Keep with you:
Faith, honesty, good deeds.

Always keep clean:
Your body, clothes and thoughts.

Never refuse:
Invitations, presents and advice.

intellectual rights and intellectual properties,
I stare at a library of free content
is it even worth watching? I know it's trash
but why is it entertaining? Have social standards
and social norms degraded my level ofsatisfaction to this extent?
Is this really like a cancer based community where it can only get worse?
And I think to myself what a(n) w̶o̶n̶d̶e̶r̶f̶u̶l̶ ugly world

9mm that’s the size of a bullet fired by police,
It could be in self-defence,
It wouldn’t matter.

Cameras and press are pressed for time and need to get a front-page article out,
“Chicago policeman shoots man” is what they go with
Never mind that man killed three girls aged 10 – 12 but not before they were violently abducted.
Police to avoid this happening to another child raided the house with the wallpaper faded.
He shot at them first and when the policeman fired back he signed his resignation because no-one wanted to hear his apology in front of the whole nation.

NRA and the 2nd amendment are giving everyone an easy excuse,
It’s written into the constitution therefore it must be okay,
But let me tell you something real quick:
Slavery was legal
Segregation was legal
Does that make it okay?
And here is where we sit right now on that fine line of it being moral and it being legal

we are the dreamers
we are the lost people
wanting a light to guide
us
but unless
we riot and
fight for our rights
we can do nothing
you see
it takes an army
to win a war
but it can only
take one voice to
make an impact
and
Martin Luther King Jr
did just that
but why is it that in our
generation
today can't stand up for what's ours
when a man
who had so little did so much
we need to take a stand to make what has the gone wrong right and it will be hard but to save what little humanity is left we must do so.

What comes to mind when ‘gender’ is heard?
Male, female, and queer.
Gender issues; gender inequality.
“According to millennials”
One of the world’s most serious problem.
I admit to know not much about discrimination,
But I have a say according to my perception.

Adam is superior, Eve is submissive
Patriarchal than matriarchal.
“Women” receive and are perceived lower.
Why is that?
It’s pointless to throw discrimination back and forth
Physical capabilities.
All are unique to body structures,
Both can either be short or tall,
And both can either be weak or strong.
But both can’t have the same genitals;
One can bear, the other cannot.
But he can’t be she and she can’t be he?
That’s a different story.

Talk about stereotypes
She are *** symbols and he are not
He are rapists and she are not
Focused too much on two gender distinctions.
Talk about rights
All are humans who can walk and talk
All are humans who can eat and breathe
All are humans who can think and feel.

What’s it about?
Just gender identity.
He who is a she
Can think and act as a she
She who is a he
Can think and act as a he
He or she who is both or questioning
Can think and act as they please
All are still humans.
What’s wrong? Society.

But we can’t impose
Some are against
Some support
Some are neutral
Some don’t know.
What can we do? It’s up to you.
But you’re in no position
To give such decision.
The society
Today
A poem requirement for my Literature. I honestly don't know much about gender equality, so I apologize if this poem ******.
Take the steps in stride
Fight the world with pride
Show that you are a man
Stare against the world
Show off what you can
But don't you dare lie
You would not be standing there
Without the arms of a woman
You laid curled
Without her you could die
It might not even be fair
But it's her

Mother, daughter, sister, friend
Lover, fighter, true survivor
Grandmother, teacher
Healer, shoulder
Cleansing fire
Don't you ever
Deny that she makes your world
Holy water, warrior
A mighty knight's suit of armor
An angel's choir, Heaven's sire
A loving child
Woman's stride
Female Pride

Heart so wide
That is why you should stride
Should she see the day
She runs the world
She never needed
The men who hurt her
Worlds would change
As they already have

A woman's love
Paved the way
For our modern sky to never
Be the limits
Yet make it so
We live to take that chance
So why is it we take her for granted
Try to only treat her
Like she's a toy
A thing we may pamper
When the endless limit of her mind
The lights of her soul
The warmth of her heart
Are keys to creation
And beauties unknown

Mother, daughter, sister, friend
Lover, fighter, true survivor
Grandmother, teacher
Healer, shoulder
Cleansing fire
Don't you ever
Deny that she makes your world
Holy water, warrior
A mighty knight's suit of armor
An angel's choir, Heaven's sire
A loving child
Woman's stride
Female Pride

She may hit like I girl
But I see that pain is like no other
She never needed me to save her
When she has the power
But a fool I'll be
Not to help her
When she sees the need
It's her heart
It's her mind
It's her soul
It's her being
It's her
Why you are here
Brent Kincaid May 2018
I’m all for freedom of speech for everyone
Without pardoning you for things you’ve done.
Here’s something you don’t get to say to me
You don’t get to tell me I may not disagree!
You who plan constant genocide and invasion
Make pacifists like myself rise to the occasion.
We refuse to authorize you buying a warship.
You act as if that word is very like worship!

Too many scary cowards setting precedences.
In your overstuffed, gadget-filled residences.
You’re issuing orders to send youths to die.
Since you’re not going, why bother to ask why?
Some bribe-taking elite snobs in costly suits
Tell you to send kids overseas in combat boots.
If you rebuke them they bring out the dramatics.
Their reason is their bookkeeper’s mathematics.

In the USA, we waged war after disastrous war
And few of us asked why, and what is it for?
We invaded people’s lands and destroyed it
And there never was a reason to deploy it
An international revenue generating machine
****** thousands on both sides, nice and clean.
Then demand we buy coffee, seven bucks a cup,
If we think of objecting, you want us to shut up.

After all, it’s just one more war, wrapped up to go.
What’s a two or three million dead people or so?
The point it, there’s a bottom line to adhere to
So what it affects or kills someone near you?
Don’t be unpatriotic and ***** with fate.
Genocide is lucrative and an  American trait.
Just look what we did to the natives here.
Read that story. What we’re doing is clear.

Learn to love the color pink, because as soon as you are born you are smothered by all things cute and dainty, and yes of course they are pink, so learn to love the color pink, pink being the balloons that say things like “ Congrats it’s a Girl” as if  they would be proud to have such a thing. Pink as the muscles beneath our skin, pink as the human brain, but god forbid we think, pink as in meat, pink as in weak, pink as in baby blankets that are raised just a little too far over your head, pink as in let’s try again, pink as in you are weak, pink as in no, pink as in you can’t do that, pink as in me, pink as  an identity I will forever be forced to be in love with.

Always hold daddy’s hand, because they’re are bad men around every corner
3
Cross your legs and learn to sit still. You can’t play with toy cars your a little girl hot wheels are for the brave at heart you need a Malibu girl, something smooth and rounded, something you can’t ***** yourself on. Something that is perfect for the pink one.
4
Learn to herd to the bathroom. Never forget the buddy system because you don’t want to end up missing like the girl across the street
5
Learn early on that you should steal your mother’s makeup, no matter what she says, because with out it we look “tired”
6
Don’t be scared of blood, be scared of men.
7
Play with your hair, pull down your shirt, be exotic, and beautiful. Everyone loves a playful girl.
8
Don’t go back home till you have a good husband and a baby that didn’t turn out pink like you. A baby with an actual chance for greatness in this world.

Say no
Nyx Apr 2018

You would think I would learn my lesson
That I wouldn't be such a fool
You would think after the first time
That I would know and follow the rules

You would think that a heart like mine
So tormented and broke
You would think that a boy like him
Wouldn't take it as such a joke

You would think that the friends around me
Would learn not to be so fake
You would think that I would figure out
That I can't change a snake

You would think things will change
We will become more mature
You would think that high school drama
Is something anyone can endure

You would think that since I am a child
My opinion are completely invalid
You would think that as a full grown adult
That everything you say is valid

You would think that as the years fly by
We could learn to love one another
You would think that as the world moves on
We wouldn't care about skin colour

You would think that since its been so long
That women have equal rights
You would think that with all the new changes
That the LGBT could finally sleep at night

You would think that due to the history of the world
That we wouldn't have bloodshed or war
You would think that we would learn more morals
that young girls wouldn't be labeled as ******

You would think that since everything we've been through
No matter how big or how small
You would think that since our world is so advanced
That we wouldn't build up such walls

But its clear to me that our world hasn't changed
We haven't learnt at all
But we all pretend things are different now
Because we simply don't want to fall

You Would Think That

******

say it again please
say it to my face
we all heard you
but please
scream it out
bawl, screech and shout

******

i hear you

but speak louder for the gay kid sitting at the back
confused with being told they need fixing when they don’t feel broken
speak louder for the people on the run from a society who denies their very being

c’mon

s p e a k   l o u d e r

bawl it out for those who are pressed between choosing religion and expression
for those who pass having never felt acceptance

scream it
for our trans family whose futures linger in the hands of the very people who want to erase us from society

we would love to hear your opinion
and i’m sure you’d love to give it, right?

so c’mon!!

i can hear you
but say it to their faces
scream it out
bawl, screech and shout

try it.

I promise you we'll bite.
