The echo of your mistakes rippling like the wake of water from a single drop of rain. One after the other you see the pain. Knowing the things you did the things you said have brought you to now and now you see how

I tripped.
And hurt myself.
Wondering how someone can do that to me.
But I got up and dusted myself off.
Upon falling again I repeat this process.
Coming to the realization that.
I'm the cause and solution to all my problems.

So we're all doing "better..."
I ponder this as I go over all of our
Future life "perfections,"
War is ten times more ******
And violent than ever before.
If that's not enough, we deny
The loss of every day for people
Who go do boring, dead end
Professions.
(Life is very short, so why not
Spend each day mopping floors
And filling out orders for life!
)
As if that isn't a tragedy,
A wonder as it is, the political
Playground is a wonderland
With the most immature
President in history now in
Charge, people pretend we'll
Somehow survive, his agenda
To remove, to dispose of
Anything or anyone he deems
To be "at large." If anyone
Loves immigrants, they are
Stupid, insane, and lack any
Integrity. If you don't work
And have a car, even if you're
(ACTUALLY!)
Disabled, you're a "waste of human
Space," to be guilt trip prone,
Ridiculed, no excuse, a total pity.

Well we certainly fixed this life up!
And left the rest of the world in the dust...
morning lights peeks through the door
i walk across the screaming floor
not mindful of the blood that drips
nor obvious to the pain that seeps
into the crimson carpet of despair
i wonder how darkness got there
the door showed no signs of entry
yet last night the bottles weren't empty
i like to think that these kind of days
are something i'm not really meant to face
maybe one day it will all cease
let not that day be when i shall decease
for i wish to live life so unlike now
yet my mind violently demands how
the rooms here rattle as i walk across
synchronized not to life's ability to pause
and how it makes you feel like you're gone
or maybe in two places instead of one.
i want to post a poem today but i really can't think of a title. help me, maybe?

Her tears won’t stop
It’s never ending rain
Bad thoughts in every drop
Followed by all her pain
Fat is what she’s called
Depressed she became
When alone she bawled
It’s never ending rain

This life seems like an illusion
There are more problems
Then solution
The dreams that we get
Comes mostly after the sunset
Yet none comes true, I bet
Laying awake at nights
In my head woven is so tight
Many unanswered questions that flash like lights
My heart is such a kind
That it won't listen to my mind
We are a rare piece, not easy to find
Each day becomes shorter than the other
Each night seems longer than another
Each year runs on faster
Mind settles on seeing reality
Every relationship lacks that quality
Not everyone possesses the right ability
Unaware of others situation
We tend to rule out our own conclusion
That's when we fall in the web of illusion
So focus on yourself and the people you love
Rather than a judge or a critic sitting above
Come down and spread the peace like a dove...

We used to have dreams, goals, hope in our bone.
Now all we have is problems, we’ve created on our own.

"you be the princess and ill be the hero
and i will rescue you from the dragon" he says
she stands confused because she is the princess
but she is also the hero and the dragon is
hers and she doesn't see how he can help

"the spell will be broken by your true loves kiss"
they promised but she knows true love is
a lie and though she's kissed many her dragon stays
and stays and when she takes up
her sword she only hurts herself and the ones she loves

"you should give up" says the dragon
and she almost agrees the hero cannot save even herself
but she puts on her crown drops her sword
and casts a spell she didnt know she had
and the dragon falls to the ground asleep

"she lived happily-ever-after,"
the story says and she knows
not everyone can and that there are more
dragons out there but she has learned
and she is waiting and she will conquer
I wanted to criticize the trope "true love will fix everything." Ya gotta fix your own problems, and sometimes that means finding a new solution. Self-sufficient princesses are life.

When you get caught doing something you shouldn't,
you learn,
you figure out how to do it right,
but when we succeed we blame it on luck,
on skill,
and pure justification of thrill,
so if you get lucky once, then twice, then thrice,
how will you ever learn from mistakes with no consequences...
