They danced.
Till pinks and blues joined the moon
and marigolds painted the ground gold.
The night ending far too soon.

The years advanced.
Their bones too old,
to dance the night away.
But the marigolds
in the bouquet
remind them of the good old days.

She
My argent queen, once I thought,
of pride and worth, and wrath
I looked upon your pale, fair face
And followed down your path
Once, I was torn and driven
between honor and disgrace
Until all hope and life and light
Dissolved beneath a haze

Oh Lady, all of my desire
I lost and earned again
Once in a day, once in a week
I whondered, here and then
How I got lost inside this mire
Of hopelessness and rage
I fled, I charged, I stashed
rushing to the deepest,
darkest stage

I called you lady, even then
Yet bitterness is gone
My fear and fume slowly recede
And every task is done
I still can hear your chant
When you are full and fair
But now, your voice is far and faint
My mind diverted and restrained
And I feel banned and bare
Under a new, seductive call
Ensnaring all my heart

if you will be my sea
i will be your sky

if you will be my black
i will be your white

i will paint you seasons and keep your tenderness close
if you will take me places, places only we know

if you will be my sunshine
i will be your night

you are my yin yang happening
and everything, for once, is alright

Watch your back and your partner's back;
No matter what you two have going on between you two
Only then can you two survive in this world
Put your trust in your partner
But remain wary of betrayal from within
For anyone can betray you
Written from recently seen pain and things I have seen before, but never put into words.

Get on with it
Just tell me
You love me
Been so long time

Bearing my heart with you
I didn’t realize
Caring my words in you
Erase all the lies

Just let me know
What’s troubling your mind?
To forget the past and cuddle
A single crib for two
Under a single sheet with you

Two dancers entangled
Found themselves in flight
Magnets across hips
They collided in the night.

He lifted his hand and
She opposed open palm
Their breaths synchronized,
They shot off arm in arm

Their sways became one
Their footwork a mirror
But while chests warmed with passion,
Their minds became clearer.

Their smiles dissolved,
Though it might be perfection...
Alas they let go–
Each despised their reflection.

Shrug it off darling,
all birds
need to fly
some know
their way back
others
find new ones..

Shrug it off..
some birds might
stay and dance
with every
shrug..
shrug burden birds partners him her dance home

So sensitive we are
Deeply sunk in our love
With it we keep each other afloat
Through this toxic river of life
Even though we both love another
And recognize the depth of our feelings together
We still experience tremoring fear
In the face of the other's other
