i just wrote a letter to a good-hearted man.

it is night where i am right now.
while writing, i heard my father's steps.

he slowly approached me; mistrust in
his face.

he thought i would have done something
bad. i had not done so.

five minutes i spoke to him; i needed him to
believe me since i will travel to another city
later today.

i do not want to say "farewell" in disharmony.

yet, i am not disappointed or angry.
everyone acts weakly from time to time.
i forgive my father.

before going to bed i will talk to somebody
else.

somebody who is everywhere and always with me.

affectionately
mikey
nothing to add.

Why was I , A passing moment?
If you would've stayed a bit longer,
At least, I would be a memory.

Why were you a whirlwind of flurries?
Melting before you could settle.
I am the Arctic snow,
Buried deep, are a million memories.

I see you smile in all your entirety
I can't stand the amber haze, the fire inside of me
Kick-start my heavy heart, don't leave me on the line
I want you, you know too
Will we fall or fly

Are we in denial, hiding reality
I cant stand the tidal wave
Oh riptide oh carry me

Ohhhhh no I won't wait forever
This smokescreens killing me
I can't let you
Continue to tease, see I say
Why's the one I want the one and only I can't reach

Fear to feel alive though, your thoughts caught spiralling
Can't stand to hesitate, the shine blinds me
Kick off or cave in, ultimatum decide
I want you, you know too
Will we fall or fly

Are we in denial, hiding reality
I cant stand the tidal wave
Oh riptide oh carry me

Ohhhhh no I won't wait forever
This smokescreens killing me
I can't let you
Continue to tease, see I say
Why's the one I want the one and only I can't reach

Are we in denial, hiding reality
I cant stand the tidal wave
Oh riptide oh carry me

Ohhhhh no I won't wait forever
This smokescreens killing me
I can't let you
Continue to tease, see I say
Why's the one I want the one and only I can't reach

A severe conflict rages within me
Torn between,
Something rip, rip, condemning
And idleness
The kind of idleness where you’re alone within a storm
Perfectly aware that soon enough you’ll have to follow the currents
And flying debris
But for now,
Just for an instant,
You are still and around you is silence
Not
A calm before a storm
But a calm within a storm
The eye of the storm?
A singly moment when you’re able to stand still for just a
Just a single moment
And take a deep breath before you’re flown away

Briefly,
We were magical;
Like shooting stars
Caught between clouds.

I can't cry,
              for I have no tears..

As I lent them you,
                                      as yours ran dry.

don't plunge
just wait back,
"sunrise is yet to come
and sunset is yet too far"
just come close,
lock this moment
I wanna see you smile
I have been cold for a while...
let us hitch with love as a moment of farewell.

We are falling in love with ourselves
The way we are imperfectly perfect
And how we are made
for something bigger than this moment

just for a moment
i step inside
i kiss one guy
i turn around
close the door
and kiss one more

it was a silent splash
into the river
and all its bewitching curves

as it sank into his pores
his mouth his ears
his eyes his body

as one second of purity
washed countless years
of killings and being killed

cleansing him from the inside-out

then he sees him
on the other side

again.

for a moment they freeze
in their shock

the quiet ripples are no longer
silent as they scramble out to shore
as they ignore their bare bodies
as they reach for their veteran
killing machines

and for another moment

he watches him crawl up to shore
while he aims it at his head
his finger at the trigger

but in this moment

in their nakedness

stripped of identity

they are one and the same

they are no different

there is no violence no hurt no war no sadness no killing no hate no guns no knives no punches no kicks no grenades no trenches no shrapnel no-

and with a muted splash
he feels the river
of blood running down
his head

as the moment of realisation
slips away
In war, everything seems to be black and white.

Will you get killed by your own grey heart?
