Remember when we first met?
I wish we could meet again for the first time.

I see her
in dimming light
beneath the lamplight on the street
our eyes meet
for the last time under a misty veil
I see her
she sees me

if we flew among the heavens
it would be as birds sharing a single pair of wings

were we to dwell upon the earth
it would be as trees with branches intertwined

in the heavens birds with a single pair of wings
on earth trees with branches entwined
i have not met you but i feel as though we have. and i miss you dearly

Somehow,
in the first meeting
you managed to convince me
what I needed
was you-
without any convincing
at all.

i wasn’t scared of meeting you
and not feeling a single thing
i was scared of not meeting you
and never knowing

i’m almost certain
that we’d feel something
so why couldn’t we
just try?
It's a long and winding road to get to that answer. Some friends and I had come together because we each had a free ticket to ride the roller coaster 'Across the Universe' at the new theme park 'Helter Skelter' which had just opened on my birthday. The 4 of us...Jonathan the Tax man, Richard the Egg man, Paula the Meter Maid and Georgette... (well, she does something) had just come out of the 'Magical Mystery Tour' where you take a virtual ride around the entire park in a yellow submarine, and gotten in line for the roller coaster. Who should get in line right behind us but The Beatles. They were in disguise, but the accents gave them away...not to anyone else, just us. Paula whispered to George 'Closer...let me whisper in your ear' and she let him know that we knew. To make a long story short, we spent a day in the life of The Beatles. I offered to let them drive my car to their hotel, but they said they were waiting for the van to come and take them to see a guy named Ed. We spent 10 minutes telling them how great our day was when John finally shouted; 'LOOK, you say hello and we'll say goodbye'
...and in the end it was a day to remember.
When I'm 64, I'll still remember like it was yesterday!

Today, was kinda special day for me,
I had a meeting with death, I was filled with glee.
It was for the first time I felt it's presence,
A peaceful sleep in solitude is it's essence.

With the shadows of grief when I was left alone,
Giving painful memories happy era had been gone
Then was the time I was in a serious need of rest,
And therefore my meeting with death happened at its best.

It was dominant over me,
I appreciated it's company.
From the noisy light to the silent dark,
This journey for me is quite necessary to remark.

Exhausted, when I went rolling down the steep *****,
The exhaustion as a result of broken dreams and shattered hopes
With the pills of depression then my body went numb,
All these stuffs left me a puppet deaf and dumb.

The chains of helplessness had held me so tight,
My wrecked and weeping self had lost the fight.
My craving soul longed to be a member of the crew
Fascinated by dark, the death angels and zombies a few.

Words were not required to convey the message held within.
The warmth of your touch when your hand held mine
Just easily melted my frozen heart.

The moment was so perfect, so magical
That felt like all the stars aligned for us
And the universe conspired in our favor,
Allowing two souls to meet in a chance encounter.
