The title of this poem is from an unknown wise man
Who said: ‘Today I voted, I did not vote for a person’
I love his honest and serious words. I love his wisdom
And I’m unequivocally proud to quote him
This genuine gentleman truly inspires me
His heartfelt message touches me deeply
Like him, yesterday, I voted for life and the future
I voted for equality and Mother Nature
I voted for values and decency
I voted for respect and dignity
I voted for fairness and equal opportunity
I voted for the rules of law and sanity
I voted for comprehension and transparency
I voted for a healthy and better economy
I voted for the truth and Social Security
I voted for money for the children and the elderly
I voted for safety and security
I voted for principles and a cease fire everywhere
I voted for over here and over there
I voted for tolerance and acceptance
I voted for harmony and common sense
I voted for patriotism and the Constitution
I voted for justice and reason
I voted for hope and chance for all
I voted for humanity to walk tall
I voted for compassion and love
I voted for the Spirit above
I voted for morality and peace
Everywhere, especially in the Middle East
And I voted against countless other things
As the lion roars, the rooster crows and sings
And the bell rings
I voted against disrespect and immortality
I voted against chaos and insanity
I voted against violence and poverty
I voted against bombing and killing babies
I voted against baseless rumors and disease
I voted against lies and dehumanization
I voted against hatred and discrimination
I voted against bias and repression
I voted against corruption and exclusion
I voted against deceit and exploitation
I voted against prejudice and marginalization
I voted against contempt and humiliation
I voted against betrayal and treason
I voted against fascism and racism
I voted against injustice and nepotism
I voted against police state and dictatorship
I voted against misery and hardship
Yesterday, I also voted for love, not hate
Yes, indeed, I voted for love, not hate
I did not vote for a person
I did not vote for a felon
Please hurry to vote, it’s not too late
Tuesday November 5th is around the corner
Make America friendlier and better
Thank you for the inspiration
I don’t know the identity of this wise man.

P.S. This poem is dedicated to this anonymous wise man
And to all the readers.

If I'm an emotional train wreck,
would you be a first responder?

If I die and lay in rest,
would you love me any longer?

I question myself constantly
wondering what I could become.
Should I be more than this,
or finally will I say that I'm done.

I want to quit
I want to stop

But I can't

I have a debt to pay
and a price that will not drop

So I'll keep at it
Until someone want me shot, dead
someone other than me.
I seem to be the only who can see beyond the ******* and lies that I tell
to myself
Every day

You can do it.
Just keep going.
You got this

So like I said,

I'm an emotional train wreck,
but are you my first responder?
i liek trains
A human being needs to be educated
In order to make the world a better place
An uneducated politician or bully is a serious menace
To our vulnerable society. Ignorance is deeply rooted
In racism, violence, greed, crimes, frauds, lies and deceits
Banning or ending the department of Education
Will cause irreparable harms to the Nation
Most convicted criminals have no advance degrees
Most recidivists and racists behave like animals on the streets
Like wild tigers in the jungles, like sneaky foxes in the prairies
Most pathological liars are hardened criminals
A good or high-quality education can turn devils into angels
Choosing educated leaders are indeed paramount
Well-educated politicians are smart and benevolent
A brain needs the seeds of instruction and education
A tactless or illiterate mind can easily desolate a great Nation.

They consume hot dogs
Too
Like you
But they don’t eat dogs
Never, ever
They do not eat cats
They do not eat pets
Never, never.

Immigrants eat wild boars, wild hogs
That’s hot Griot
They don’t eat rabbits
But they eat spicy Tassot
And of course, they eat hot dogs.

Haitians eat and drink Soup Joumou
Which contains vegetables and of course carrots
Haitian food
Is very, very good
Immigrants consume good meats
Like you.

Stop being racist
Stop being supremacist
Years ago, your ancestors used to eat dogs
Not immigrants, not West Indians
Not Haitians
Quit the hate
Think about your fate
On the final date
Immigrants eat fried wild hogs
Like zillion of Americans
Who love apple pies
Stop the lies, stop all the lies.

I am a liar
a pathological liar to be exact
you can perceive me in many ways, shapes, or forms
but in the end of the day
the way you view me will just be simple act
that I have created just to make you put your trust in me

I can say that I'm an "angel at heart"
but unfortunately for you
I can make you see the world as an ongoing hell
were the people that you love are just two - face demons that want you to forever rot in everlasting eternity
and I'll be the angel to save you (blind you) from those two - face demons

I can also say that "I can never hurt a fly"
but if you were a hopeless fly fluttering around my line of sight
I can easily trap you inside a jar
or cocoon you inside my hands
or maybe I'll just squish you slowly with *******
then I'll make you perceive it as a home(prison) for now on

For I am a liar
and you will find out eventually
so, if you were to sit me down and ask me
"Why would you put these lies in my head"
I would say
"Because why not"
everyone is a liar, but some liars can deceive more than others

How laughable!

It was me who was weaving lies,

but it was their honesty that won in trapping.

A reminder
Millie Oct 19
shut out the noise
push out the lies
see the truth
open up your eyes

minds are twisted
with false truth
invading our brains
poisoning our youth

wake up, please
push through the fog
rise up from the ashes
see through the smog

please open your eyes
not awake in disguise

concealed with a facade
hidden between myself and I
I run around
roaming
looking for a sound
a lie shouts
another one too
I search for the truth
but all I find is
another fake version of you
Sometimes I feel so fake. I can’t speak my truth. I can’t shout my feelings. I fake my smiles and my laughters. I just feel like an imposter.

Moments will pass and still, the future waits.
The past devours the present—ravenous—
We seek the futures you used as mere bait.

"The crime..." our experience will tell us,
"Was believing things would improve—ever—"
Unaware your claims were so spurious.

You let us believe things could get better.
With nothing more than our blind faith to give—
You thought we'd follow your lead forever.

This isn't the life we wanted to live;
To serve your today while you rob us blind…
The cost: our tomorrow—trapped in your sieve.

Your promised outcomes; nothing more than lies
In fine print: Terms and conditions apply.

You sit on a throne of lies
Watching me struggle with your ladder of deception
Eyes don't always look for the disguise
Your particular ugly's deep under the skin
I fell for your generic guise
Can't help but fall in lust over and over again
Another broken heart is my prize
This is not love,
This is a forbidden sin
The apple I should have never bitten
