Proctor Ehrling Sep 2019
Demented bandit
Redundant pundit
Fun time gambit
Screaming "Bomb it!"
Vicious *****
Cannot stand it
Mend it, bend it
Maybe tow it
How it goes
It goes all wrong
It wrongs no more
More than it should
But more it could
I guess it would
But that would hurt
Oh what a ****
The world is burnt
And I feel like a picture blurt
You've censored too much
Ventured too far
Gotten all such
Answers fewer
Violent fever
Violet furor
Volatile gore
Gory tumour
Coming back to something I used to do at the beginning of my presence here: writing actual freestyles. This one conjured up in 5 and a half minutes.

I sprung at the pinnacle
Unwriting my chronicle
With love non-reciprocal
I shall start anew
I laid bare in muddle hub
With beasts of animal club
I'm stuck at the stub
And solitude brew
And so I continue to clear my notebooks of stuff that seems more-or-less cohesive enough to share here.

I got acquainted with a lost soul but he didn’t know it
My purpose was to guide him
Exposed himself to his self
Now all the looks in the mirror confuses him day by day
I reeled him in grabbed his chest
Now his heart is in my hand
Not only talks of reassurance
I had to show him
What it meant to be loved with no strings attached
What it felt like to be cared for
Honesty and truth was nothing to be afraid of
Just like an angel
I was sent from above
We smiled, laughed and had deep conversations
All this came about with no *******
Living in a generation that’s unable to separate reality from fantasy
This strange encounter was meant to be
I opened him from the inside out
Now when he looks at his reflection
He smiles

Thousands of feet high
Mind racing
Views of the cloudy skies
Reminds me of my judgement
Connection resembles turbulence,
Things have been so shaky
Rows with three seats
Seems like something has come between us
There’s a limit to the weight we can carry
Too much may result in our plane crashing down
Slowly descending
We’ve reached our destination
Realizing two cannot become one
No tears or sadness
Just a sigh of relief
Was taking a flight to New Orleans that inspired this poem. Views of the clouds so beautiful. Enjoy:)

lulubog lilitaw
haharap sa'yo
tila kahapon
hindi nagkasakitan
mangangamusta ngayon
bukas wala na naman
ang gulo mo
ano ba talaga ang sadya mo?
andito ka na naman
babalik na tila
parang wala lang
maawa ka naman
utak ko naguguluhan
mga mensahe kong iyong binabalewala
kahit seen hindi mo magawa
parang tanga nag-aantay
may pag-asa pa ba o wala?
kaya ako'y titigil na
sa kahibangang kay tagal kong inalagaan
tatakbo palayo
sa anino **** nagmistulang
naging multo na ng nakaraan ko
Poem of the day. July 28
Thank you to my new officemate her stories inspires me to write this poem. Sabi ko na sayo isusulat ko to.

privacy is really a thing of history
nowadays it's all up there like a gallery
even when i'm alone there's always eyes
it's exhausting putting on such a disguise
when the lights are off and blinds are closed
it would be fine to be blind i suppose
glancing at my back like there's a ghost
staring at every single tweet i post
no such thing as being invisible
still just a student dodging the principal
some of you might say i'm just paranoid
nah i'm just worried about my word choice
twisted voices can make terrible noises
life is a bumpy ride and i'm getting nauseous
"WooOoo TeChNolOGY and SOCiaL mEDIa BAD" don't take this too seriously actually

let's just take a minute
and try to slow it down
before i let you finish
i wanna take a bow
let's just have a toast
we made it this far
i'm not one to boast
but i think we're on mars
imagine if i quit back then
repeating the past again
imagine if i didn't try
i wouldn't be able to fly
got a lot to thank for
i'll be here for the encore
we endured, now let's enjoy
**** it, make some noise

Murdered soul
Left behind evidence
Pled not guilty
Prosecuted by feelings
When defending the heart
Law of attraction
Judged by actions
Traumatic trial
Due to reasonable doubt
Emotional jury
Based on facts
Imprisoned by love
Served a life sentence
Another random write. Enjoy

Turmoil, breathing fast
Shackles of a sinful past
Run, you idiot, run
All you can do since you've been outgunned
That ought to teach you a lesson
You might grow, but there are parasites in the world of indiscretion
Shouldn't have revealed so much to her
Some things ought to never be unearthed
So now you run from the baddies
That's the cost of for once feeling you might be happy
inspired by Guy Ritchie's movies... even though none of his movies are about this (guess the criminal aesthetic is the commonality here). freestyle written in 6 minutes.

when i was a kid, i wanted to be superman
i was a super fan, to all the caped crusaders
to all my childhood saviors, wish i had them back
always hung up on the past, stuck on what i lack
that's a bad thing i bet, i guess i need to get
over it. first place's overrated
do i need to go places to really live
i feel relieved just lounging
i don't mind that i'm frowning
my achievements were never crowning
i'm just clowning and that's fine
i guess there's always time
again, still bad at tags
